PowerBall odds for 100 tickets?
The PowerBall odds are about 1 in 146,000,000 I believe. So what would the odds be if you bought 100 tickets for 100 shots? Would that be 146,000,000 divided by 100 for a 1 in 1,460,000 odds? I may try this, plus some filtering that could reduce the odds by millions more.

My thoughts on MM when CA joins
1 in 10 overall odds would completely make up for the impossible jackpot odds.

the odds of a 3 of 6 is 1:57.So john's $15 winning has just matched the odds a bit more.lets see If theres going to be a consist odds matching of a $15.To break the odds,100 lines should produce a 4 of 6 at least. The odds of a 4 of 6 is 1:1032,and the odds of a 5 of 6 is 1:54,201.Also we will see if anyone of us will make a 5 of 6 winner within all 6 draw tests.

Number 2 as mb this week ?

I think all 52 balls will have come twice in that amount of time if the present format last that long.RJOhThere is a finite, but small, possibility that it will never come in our lifetimes. The odds of winning the mega-millions is of course 1 in 135,145,920.

What are the odds that the following ticket (1, 12, 23, 32, 41, MB13) is selected twice in a row using quick picks? Answer: (1 in 135,000,000) squared.2. What are the odds that any two quick picks match exactly. Answer: First you buy one quick pick. The odds of getting any combination is 1 in 1 because any combination will do. Then you buy a second ticket where the numbers must match the first ticket, odds o

Best way to predict numbers

If you buy two megamillions quickpicks, the odds of getting the ticket with exactly those two numbers printed on them is roughly 1.8 X 10^16, or about 3% of the age of the universe measured in seconds. Beating such odds, as you do everytime you buy such a ticket, doesn't get you any money, but it's thrilling nonetheless.prob987,I do not agree with your calcula

Scratch off Odds?
Do Instant tickets have to have specific odds set?I ask because of the upcoming Florida Lottery's $5 scratch game Holiday Gift Tag Set. This is a $5 ticket with odds of 1-7.47 !!That would mean you have to buy 7+ tickets to expect to even win anything, at a cost of $35+.I've never seen a ticket before with odds much higher than 1-4. I do hope this is some kind of misprint, because those are just insane odds.
