Which states and lottery games will you play once online gambling is legal?

Which states and lottery games will you avoid playing once online gambling is legal?

Will you play the international lotteries?  Which ones?

Do you think that the online gambling bill will pass this year or be postponed again?

Thanks!  Lurking Cheers

I will play only the states graded as A+ on the Lottery Post State Lottery Report Card.

I won't even play PB or MM in a state that uses computers for other games and that includes my own state.

Once Congressman Robert Wexler resigned the big push behind the gambling bill evaporated in my opinion.  I doubt we will get the freedom to spend our own money as we see fit.  The way things are there will likely be some nasty trick in the bill that includes all sorts of privacy violations so taxes can be collected at both ends.  Fair chance only tax paying U.S. casinos will be allowed and lottery excluded at the request of state governments.

If we do get a good bill that allows lotto play I'd imagine the states that go for it will make their games more attractive.

My first pick is any game with more then one ticket for a dollar, that's a given.

Like I've said many time before..... here on the LP, with all the pre-tests and tube rotations they do, ball drawings isn't all that great either. Manipulation....indirect manipulation......breaking up patterns, under the facade of ensuring proper functioning of the machines, so they won't break during the live shoot. BS.....! ...........Freaking gets my blood boiling.........IF THE MACHINE IS GOING TO BREAK DOWN, THEN IT WILL...... IN FACT......THEY ARE ENCOURAGING THE BREAKDOWN BY IMPOSING STRESS TO THE MACHINES, compared to normal conditions, where the machines are not being used as often. The wear and tear on the machines during the routinely, multiple pre-tests  will improve the chance of a breakdown. DUH!!!!!!!.....Isn't that self-defeating?

                        Sorry Ridge...lol....didn't mean to yell.

You make a valid point with the pre-tests being a major PITA but maybe competition could straighten that out too over time.

Maybe some state will have the cojones to make a bold move to increase sales by cutting out pretests.

It's amazing what competition can do when it's unleashed and there's money to be made.

If everybody starts playing the states with the real ball drawings, we will see computers disappear in short order.

Pre tests are a part of the security function of the game to makes sure no tampering of the balls has been done. It's not so much a big deal about the machines malfunctioning. Pre tests are audited for security purposes.

You propose for them to just release sets of balls for a drawing without doing any security measures. I can here the frigging phones now about how come peoples numbers didn't come out and there must be tampering of the balls.

You know full well why they do pre test because of what happened in PA years ago. It's an industry standard.

Big John says. You don't hit the number. The number hits you!!!!

                              Because competition always improves everything.

There's no need to strive for excellence if you're the only game in town and you've got a captive audience.

If everybody starts playing the states with the real ball drawings, we will see computers disappear in short order.

It's nice to have some form of leverage over politicians because they really don't care what we want unless it starts costing them money.

I Agree!   I will only play states that have no state income tax on the winnings or the lowest of state taxes on said winnings!

Keep dreaming the impossible dream, it just may come true! Thumbs Up
