5MJ is tough. I've been losing a lot on it lately as well. I actually ran into 8 losers in a row only to get two free tickets back to back. I think I'm going to quit 5MJ for good.
$10LL has been good to me. Atleast I get half my money back with that game on bad days and the occasional $50 and $100 wins keep my funds from disappearing.
I'm seeing a lot of stores with Wheel of Fortune posters. Anyone have an idea of what the pay tables and odds look like and what top prizes could be won? Maybe I'll just save up for WOF when they come out.
My guess is $10 Wheel of Fortune odds will be same as CBE, DM, & 1MF.
Seems they change the look of the games but not so much the odds.
The lower priced Wheel of Fortune games I have no idea.

So that dairy on my way home from work has had Diamond Millionaire for a bit and I have been picking up a few until the roll finally dies. Nothing special over the 2 weeks or so. Tickets, $20, $10 etc. I picked up the last 4 yesterday and the last ticket on the roll was a $100 Fast Spot

One other place has them on my way home. It's a Circle K. I think there are about 15 left on the roll. Some places in Orange have them too that I saw last week.

The $10 ticket could resemble California Gold as well, but making it the same as CBE will cannibalize those sales. I just wish the $10 tickets have more $5K+ prizes than they have shown up till this point.
I guess the $5 Wheel of Fortune will be based on Ca$h Up! since the top prize is at $100k (that payout structure has been common since 2011 when they increased the payout of $5 games from 66% to 68%). and $2 Wheel of Fortune will be based on 10X The Money since the top prize is at $20k (a popular $2 game).
Either way for myself, a reason to play is for the Wheel of Fortunate 2nd chance promotion (not going to purposely play a whole lot, but nice to get in), I am personally a fan of the game show for a long time.

Has anyone received a lottery survey via email? It was pretty interested. I guess they really want to know what you play. It was mostly based asking if you would buy certain scratchers.
I've taken such a survey similar to your description a few months ago. The questionaire makes it seem that CALottery thinks the look and design/theme will appeal to get more players. I wrote down the ease of play and the innovation of gameplay aside from the crosswords and number matching.

Yes, they are worried about colors and themes . They seem to have missed that players want different games. Haven't bought any scratchers and it feels good.
I can't wait to see how the Wheel of Fortune tickets are. I love the Wheel of Fortune slot machines. Maybe they can create a second chance or special drawing for it using the Bonus Round theme.

Having scrutinized the WOF board at a liquor store, the $10 odds are 1 in 3.50 overall, exactly the same as the California Gold. If I were to venture a guess, the playstyle and prize structure of WOF would be the same as the Gold ticket, only with some WOF-specific win icons (uncover a "Wheel" symbol, win all prizes shown, or something to that effect).
In any event, I hope it's better than the Monopoly tickets. Such rotten luck on those.

Thanks for finding that out for us. Probably it will be the same payout structure as Gold. More $25 and $50 prizes, except winning $500 will be much tougher than CBE.

I hope they come out with the 7's game (scratch down on a line) for the $10 as shown in the prototypes, the other games they've shown are redundant to what is currently out. I also saw a SuperLotto Plus and multiplier type as well.
For Wheel of Fortune, it will be a second chance drawing where you either win an entry to audition for the game show or a cash prize. I think that is about it. The CALottery live events will follow the Wheel Mobile (where they hold the premature audition rounds).
The IGT Wheel of Fortune slot machines with a state progressive are amongst the most popular game on the casino floor, but that slot is a bankroll killer for most players due to Sony Pictures Entertainment collecting a small fraction of royalties as each slot spins raises the progressive jackpot. I've never landed on the 1000 credits myself on the SPIN bonus yet.
