Looks like they did a reorder on $5 LFL, like I figured they would. Added 7 more top prizes for a total of 17. But they goofed on the numbers by changing the odds for each prize tier, which is a major error and misprint for 4/20.

If you go by those published odds above, not only would the game now be fraudulent, but a guaranteed profit!<not!> The odds on the top prize should still be the same, 1-in-2,400,000 like it was yesterday 4/19: (along with other prize tiers having the same odds)

They may reorder it but there is no guarantee that all the top prize tickets would be sold by the dateline of redeeming the ticket.

Here's an example from the first Set for Life tickets

I don't think you can expect them to guarantee that they sell all tickets, the stores and the customers have to buy the tickets first. If the game is not selling well or is a poor game (like SFL was) then they should pull it. As long as the tickets and prizes they show are what would have been available from full sales, that is a true reflection of the game structure.

If they advertise the odds and number of prizes accurately, I don't think that is false advertisement. Well, except for the incorrect odds for $5 LFL I pointed out today, that is kinda false advertisement. Wink

If you are really litigious, you could go after something like the $1,000,000 Fortune game. I says right there on the front of the ticket: 25 - $1,000,000 Top Prizes! But we see right now there are only 14 of 25 left, 11 claimed. So could you say that is false advertisement on the printed tickets and demand that they pull all tickets from stores and remove the 25 Top Prizes claim. You could probably find a court and an ambulance chaser to do it, but I'd say stop with the frivolous lawsuits and just play.

OK, they fixed their incorrect odds on $5 LFL remaining prizes table. I thought they'd fix it with this morning's update, figuring it was just the "weekend guy" screwing up or something, but was still wrong. So I sent them a note that they were showing incorrect odds, and they updated it this afternoon.

Did you buy it? What was the result?

Every once in a while, I see some people ask about certain markings on the scratch tickets, little black lines, etc. Could be chalked up to alignment marks for printing, as there is a variance of alignment for tickets face and backing.

I'm not sure I believe in any of that, or any special significane of ticket numbers, but who knows.

As for clerk tips: ask yourself, are you his big customer, or his little customer? Which one is he giving good and bad tips to? And if the clerk is also playing/scratching, then he is your competitor, so take any of his tips with a grain of salt. Wink

there is definitely no real correlation , in my opinion , as with playing certain ticket numbers ... but its just more fun looking out for those things ...

Found another $40 on $2 LFL. Darn...wish I hit that same odds prize on a $5 game instead of *wasting* it on a $2 game, but oh well. This one was different than the last one, 5x $8 instead of 10 $4 matches.

either way i am jealous Party

No special luck or skills unfortunately, I'm only doin about average for $2 LFL. Takes a lot of losers to get a few winners.

I'm trying to find stores with lower numbered packs below #300000, but can't find any in my area. I swear they must be lost out in the desert or something.

I don't see the Fortune 55 information on calottery.com website?

They just put it up. It's got an identical prize structure to Black Pearls, which is one of the better ones. I'll give it a whirl once I can find some.

What are the odds that a top prize ticket will be sold in the first week?

Somebody just won $5 Lucky for Life. The ticket was bought in Fresno.

The prizes claimed should be updated from 4 to 5 pretty soon.
