Got some $5M JP on this last day of the promo, 1 each from 3 different places. Two lost and 1 was a $100 winner.($50 fast spot plus single $50 match)
Sales have been steadily declining for $5M JP since launch, and I would expect it to drop further after the promo ends. I know I'm pretty much done, only once in a long while from here on out.

Went back to playing some older $5 games:
Smokin Hot: 0, 0, $6
Win it All: 0, $50, 0
And also got a couple Cali Gold: $20, 0
I too went back to some older tix and got a nice honest $50 win from a Ruby Red. Still playing Cali Gold because I seem to be winning more than I lose in that game.

The best birthday gift ever (Tomorrow Nov 17 is my birthday)..This is the max I have ever one... $500 ...It was a $10 Fortune (042) I got from a smoke shop in Stevenson Ranch. Do you guys think I should continue buying from that roll?

Nice win, congrats!
Odds are there's only 1 mid-tier prize of that size on the roll, and you got it. I wouldn't play anymore.
Treat yourself to something nice.(not more Scratchers...)

Played (2) $10 $1 Million Fortune scratchers today and won nada. Played (2) last week and won nada as well. Put $5 on the Super Lotto and hit the Mega # so $1. Couple weeks ago bought (10) $20 5 million scratchers and won $40 back. That sucked.
About a month ago, put $5 on Fantasy 5 and matched 4/5. Won $390 on that one.

Congrats on the 4/5 on Fantasy. That's a nice win! Most I ever got was 3/5.
Yeah, that $5M JP can be painful with the long strings of losers. I don't play that game anymore.
Got a couple Cali Gold and won $100:
#009-010: $100, $15 - $100 was strange 15/20 hits with $5/$10 mix
Also got 4 $500K Riches, only got 1 tkt win. Rarely play this one, mostly poor results. I should've known.

Thanks. Yeah. I've also had instances of where I bought a quantity of (2) and (3) $20 tickets and hit nothing on all of them. Very disappointing.
It seems like a lot of members on here play the $10 and $20 scratchers a lot if I'm not mistaken? I used to play the $5 scratchers all the time but I find the odds and payouts much more better with the $10 and $20 tickets.

Awesome win! I also won $500 on $1 Million Fortune back in April, its the most I ever won as well, did it 3 times in my 10 years of playing scratchers. Hope this game ends soon so that they draw out a replay winner for it.

Welcome to the thread, you must be new here like I am.
Hopefully you can post updates with your purchases and the ticket numbers in which you won from.
I personally now play the $10 scratchers, I get a set of 20 of them every other week that would be my new strategy going forward. I tried the $5 and $20 ones, but it seems $10 ones will give you the most of your money back so you could play more later. The odds of winning a prize more than $100 is very very tough for any price point.
The odds and payout rates under the assumption that a TICKET prize will force you to repurchase a ticket (the places I get it from will cash out the ticket's value)
$1 ones pay out 57% (I heard this one is slowly being phased out in terms of variety)

I might be skipping the next purchases until Super Lotto Plus jackpot gets hit.
Right now SuperLotto Plus is at $35MM ($19.5 MM cash option) and the 2nd Chance Drawing for SLP has launched. I think it might be better than the raffle that they had earlier in the year, but they used Powerball as an excuse to terminate it. There are usually 3 million ticket purchases per draw, so I am curious to see how many out of the 6 million get entered each week (some people might save up for a different week?)

$2 ones pay out 62%
$3 ones pay out 63%
$5 ones pay out 67 or 68%
$10 ones pay out 73%
$20 ones pay out 76%
The total return can be somewhat misleading, and not what you'll see in typical play. You have to look at the whole prize structure of the game.
The $10 and $20 games do have highest return, about 74% - 78% total. But they are very top heavy, and that number includes hitting the top prize, which is unlikely. Take away the top prize and they drop to only 66% - 68% return.
The $5 games have about 69% - 70% return, lower than $10/$20 games, yes. But they are less top heavy. From 2nd prize on down they still return 68% - 69% which is better than $10/$20 games.
And what I look at is what the "typical" return for average play is. That is different for everyone, but I look at a few hundred plays. $5 games are the highest, giving you about 65% return in "typical" play and that is very attainable. $10/$20 games are only around 60% in typical play.
And these results are confirmed in actual play. I get better return from $5 games for a comparable amount spent. Of course, if I spent twice as much on $10 games, that might equal out the results better. But I don't want to do that and the results may still not be any better.
Take a look at the newest $5 game Silver 7's as an example, which is the same prize structure as Ruby Red 7's which had typical good/high payouts. About 70.8% total return, 69.5% 2nd prize and below, and 65% up through 300 plays. Very good.
