Anyone else play the $1 & $2 LFLs? I consider them to be similar to lotto tickets, long odds but inexpensive to play.
Latest venture 6 2LFL $12 in, $2 out. 1 1LFL $1 in, 0 out.
I do not play any form of $1 and $2 scratchers at all where the returns of those games are 57% and 62% respectively, its still better than the daily draw games where the prizes are pari-mutuel from 50 cents out of every dollar played.
Odds are pretty high at 1 in 6 million for a top prize for each $1/$2 LFL game, so they are like lotto tickets to me like since it can pay out better than Fantasy 5 (1 in 575757), Daily Derby (1 in 1320000), and sometimes 5 out of 5 prize Powerball (1 in 5.15 Million).
I guess the most valuable part the CA Lottery gained from this LFL game is that people will play if the top prize offered is high, 96 million tickets printed (including reprints) for $1 LFL.
I persoanlly would to play Fantasy 5 when the jackpot carries over twice or do a Daily 4 Straight/Box

Yeah, I play the $1 LFL sometimes, not so much the $2 one though. I did notice that the CA Lottery re-ordered more for those two LFL games recently. They added 2 top prizes to the $1 LFL game in December/November, and 1 top prize to the $2 LFL game last month.
I just saw that the $10 LFL top prize count went down to 2...

Any idea about the ticket number? From 0 to 79 on the $5.
I feel bad about my loss today but its nowhere near this.
I had 015, 014. I dont remember what order the tickets were loaded. This machine ussualy has them loaded backward so i think she got 013... Lucky 13! I had to leave work for the day... I'm probably going to call in sick tomorrow too...

That's terrible. Reminds me of a few years ago, I was in Vegas feeding $20's into a dollar slot machine (close to $300) then moved to the machine right next to it. Some guy immediately sat down and stuck a $20 in the one I was playing. He hit $25,000 on the 2nd roll! I was sick to my stomach. People started gathering around and congratulating the big winner and I had to get out of there. I'm still sick about it today.
