Steve Player -" I WON THE POWERBALL GAME LAST SATURDAY!!! That's right - take a look at my winning ticket. I had four numbers right plus the Powerball number, and since I Power Played it, this combination was worth $50,000.00!!! I also had 4 numbers right four more times on the same ticket which won an additional $2,000.00. That's $52,000.00 in winnings (or $39,000.00 after taxes)!!! This is the second time I have had four numbers right plus the Powerball - next time I plan to get all five numbers right for a Jackpot win!!! It just goes to show you that my winning Lottery systems and wheels really do work; for me and for thousands of my friends and customers around the country. I have posted my winning ticket and winning check below for everyone to see".       GOOD LUCK...Steve Player

I question the authenticity because of the date on the check.  How does someone receive the money so fast.  I thought it was at least 6-8 weeks before a check can be issued.  So if my math is right, he hit on the 2/21 and then on 2/24 receives a check, just 3 days later, something does smell right, who's with me?

I'm pretty sure the 6-8 weeks is only for the jackpot. Each lottery pays the 2nd prize and down with their own funds, whereas the jackpot is paid from the pool of all the states. So the jackpot payout is delayed until verification is completed and sales can be collected from each lottery.

The information is right...someone did win that much at that store on that date. I don't see why this individual would post this unless they were the winner, because either the lottery or the 'real' winner could easily come forward and dispute it.

I find the fact that they're using this as 'confirmation' that their 'method' really works, quite hilarious. I'm sure it's been addressed here before, but "Steve Player" is just a DBA for Opcom, Inc. which was incorporated by Steven Dinger in 1995. He/they have been very successful selling lottery systems.

If the chances of winning the jackpot are so slim, why play when the jackpot is so small? Your chances never change, but the potential payoff does.
If a crystal ball showed you the future of the rest of your life, and in that future you will never win a jackpot, would you still play?

      Two questions:

How many stinkin' tickets did "Mr Player" buy?

      And:

      I forgot the other question.

But it was a very cogent question.

      You can believe that.

      I'm fairly certain of it.

I don't know but I am fairly certain he didn't spend $39,000 worth.  Tell me, what's wrong with Steve Player, what is it that you don't like about him.

Sure it's real.  If you look at the results on USAMega after every PB and MM drawings, quite a few players match 4+1.  How many of them do you think use a Steve Player system or spend more than a few dollars?

No comment on the date of the check, but based on the way he played, he should have won $13,500 more on another 27 lines. It looks Steve played the same five numbers multiple times and shows a ticket with the first five bonus numbers, but wouldn't you think a high roller like Player would use all 32 bonus numbers?

              This is the second time I have had four numbers right plus the Powerball - next time I plan to get all five numbers right for a Jackpot win!!! It just goes to show you that my winning Lottery systems and wheels really do work;

It's obvious he is showing the check for bragging rights and from that statement it looks like he played the same five numbers with all 32 bonus numbers. Wonder why he was so modest and didn't mention the other $13,500 he should have won.

                FAKE

All New Hampshire Lottery prizes are subject to state and federal income taxes. A 10% gambling tax that is withheld from all lottery winnings of $600 or more. There is also a federal tax withholding of 25% for any winnings over $5,000.

So his true after tax winnings would have been $33,800 on $52,000, not $39,000

Wrong on the tax part Luke..

This is an excerpt from the New Hampshire Lottery):

Q: If I win, how much of my prize will be taken out in taxes?A: The Lottery Commission is required to report any winnings over $599 to the Internal Revenue Service using a W2-G document; this will be sent to you at the end of the year. There is a federal tax withholding of 25% for any winnings over $5,000. The top federal graduated tax rate is 35%. Lottery winners may be at a tax rate other than the 25% withholding rate. Non-residents of the United States will have a 30% tax withholding for any winnings over $599.

There is no State tax on lottery winnings in New Hampshire...!

The  age  old  question  is   ......  Are   ( they )   playing  at  a   profit    ???

These  system  sellers  are  all   the  same

If  a   system   is  so  good  and  can  play  at   a   profit   ,  then  why  dont  they   live  off   the   system  ???

The ticket looks real unless it was photoshopped by the devil hisself. Not to worry though. By next week we will know if it's real because NH publishes monthly on their website the names and amounts won by anybody who wins anything over $600. But going by my initial investigations the Powerball website does confirm that there was one player who hit 4+1 with PP in NH on February 22, 2014.

Sure it's real.  If you look at the results on USAMega after every PB and MM drawings, quite a few players match 4+1.  How many of them do you think use a Steve Player system or spend more than a few dollars?

The ticket looks real unless it was photoshopped by the devil hisself. Not to worry though. By next week we will know if it's real because NH publishes monthly on their website the names and amounts won by anybody who wins anything over $600. But going by my initial investigations the Powerball website does confirm that there was one player who hit 4+1 with PP in NH on February 22, 2014.

The 34 four number matches with PowerPlay just might verify Player's claim.

I think Stack is right.  When I first saw the picture, I thought he must have played the same 5 and bonus from 1 to 35.  He played Power Play and based on the New Hampshire breakdown, there are 34 Match 4 winners playing Power Play.  It's probably him.

It's real, but the question is "how much does he play?"  It's like Richard Lustig, he plays a lot.  They never tell you what their returns (ROI) are.  They only talk about or post photos of their "wins."

That is some incredible faith in a bunch of numbers because if he did play 35 tickets at $3 a whack, that's $105 for one game only. Either that or he is a wealthy man and that is pocket change for him.

                              That money's gone fo ever
