Thanks haymaker,  maryland and I play 2 my own numbers and 1 qp.

I cashed my ticket in and the whole ticket was $29.00 instead of $25.00(qp) and ($4.00 on my own numbers).

This was on the MD Lottery website, nice to know what the cash value is -

There is a new winner of $1,000 a day for life in New York City, courtesy of the Feb. 25Cash4Life drawing. The lucky player will have his or her choice of $1,000 a day for life, paid in annual installments of $365,000, or a one-time cash payment of $7 million.

Agreed, I can do better (return wise) than the annuity.

Does 2nd place have a Lump Sum amount if you win? Or are you stuck with the annuity?

I've just run a few numbers, and even if you're very skilled and/or lucky in your investments, the annuity is more lucrative if you live more than about 30 years. If you don't live that long, then taking the lump sum means you die with more money.

He who dies with the most money still dies.
