That's too expensive considering the amount they won, these idiots will be broke in 10 years, just wait and see.

They got $327 million before taxes so they netted around $200 million. Buying a $6.2 million is very reasonable considering their wealth. I think this family will do just fine even 10-20 years from now.

This is one of those houses you build in "The Sims".

    It has potential.

That's what I was going to say.  Spending 3% of the JP on such a lovely home and land doesn't sound excessive to me.

Plus, it looks to me as though there's plenty of room to build a 10+ car garage right where all those cars are parked.

If anyone finds out the address of the place, I'd love to look at it in Google Earth and Bing Maps.

Exactly. At over $150 million take home, the Robinson's could buy 5 of these homes and still be filthy rich 100 years from now...6.2 million with their kind of wealth is peanuts...

Thank you for the info! I noticed it didn't take them long to find and close on the property as records show it was finalized in February, 2016 about a month after the drawing.

if you want to see another awesome property search 3255 buffalo run FL. This would be my lottery dream house.

Very nice. Now they just need to add a pool, tennis/basketball court, RV garage and perhaps a mini golf course as well as a security wall/surveillance system around the entire property.

They will now be living the dream.

Why? Not everyone plays golf, basketball or tennis. That's valuable space that could be used for a larger garage.

I'd like to know who owned this house before.  Must have been a leftist like King.  LOL

Having grandkids would be the reason for the sport complex while having over 300 acres is more than enough space to build numerous garages and guest homes if they were inclined.

Don't you remember Captain Dink in either the Civil War or World War 1 ? He is a hero.

They said they're working people and work and stuff. They've realised what they signed up for when they bought those tickets. Bodyguards and getting fired and lawsuits on one hand, but luxury on the other. I'll take that deal.

I did read about the crazy lawsuit.

But I was unaware that they got fired.

                          Bodyguards too?

Thanks! Thumbs Up I've got Google Earth open now and estimated the property boundaries using the Ruler feature and got 315 acres, so it must be pretty close to the actual plat.  (I didn't really plot that many points and sort of skipped over the curves such as along the road.  It's not easy to tell if/where there's a fence line in the dense woods, either)

I also checked it out on Bing Maps.  Google Earth is superior in some ways, particularly with newer, updated imagery, elevation and the measuring tool, but Bing often gives a much clearer and closer view of structures, etc., esp. with their "Bird's Eye View" feature.   On Bing, the pond is just being filled and using the GE elevation, shows it to be about ten ft. deep. (but there are times I've seen where it's not all that accurate)   I'll take screenshots and post them later, it's a lovely property.

EDIT:  Here's the Bing Maps URL: https://binged.it/29xyeZ1

The OP of this thread or maybe someone else with his avatar posted an update about the Robinson's in March or April and talked about them being fired and hiring a bodyguard. I started on Lottery Post during the Billion dollar Powetball, but I couldn't register until my 400th attempt actually worked.
