I noticed that there had been NO repeat number in Take 5 for six drawings and it looked like the number 5 might be the best candidate for a repeat. I decided to play it as a power number last night on 40 lines. That missing 4-number hit came in for me twice ($691), along with three 3-number hits ($57) and 18 Free Plays. In addition I had one 3-number hit on a bonus ticket ($19). $767 - $40 = $727 ... and no taxes. I can deal with that. Now, on to tonight! Good luck players! p.s. Nice article

ROADTRIP!!! Yep! Me and The Mrs G5 are drivin' down south again today... Gonna stop and get me some Bank a Million tix in Winchester, Virginia. he's right. i hit 4 numbers before and having to drive to the lotto office and to get a check along with tax papers is _ . I rather they take taxes out on the winnings already but hey whatever a win is a win. I posted the winning ticket somewhere on this post but i dont know which page it was on. just keep playing, you'll hit it soon. Ps. Lotto's at 32.5 million, but that's a big bunch of Bull Jive! That's the annuity value, and at my age I aint takin' no stinkin' annuity. So the cash value is less. Not sure what the cash value is, but if it's 20 million, after taxes you'd net maybe 14 million. But I'd take it! Just sayin'.... G5

SpeedyG Thanks for the Tax info. So we owe taxes on amounts over $600.00, do you know if we can then take a deduction for lottery expense up to that $600.00? See that 4 out of 5 prize amount has been as low as $291.00 to a high of $944.00. Guess it depends on the game jackpot and if there was no 5 out of 5 payout.

I'd rather make a math mistake here than forget to play and watch the number I wanted to play being drawn. The payoffs are correct and all you have to do is divide 50,000 or 25,000 by the number of ways your box can win. I was a big fan of this game when it started in PA about four years ago.
