Six people won the pick 5/36 jackpot tonight...yikes
Tonight's drawing was even worse than the original one I had mentioned above. It had not 6...but 8 winners, each receiving $25.7k each, before taxes. The numbers were 5-10-15-22-26. 5 was an extremely cold, very overdue number that finally hit for the first time in over 30 drawings. 10 was a previously very cold number that has now become hot, 15 was a warm number, and 22 and 26 were both hot numbers that were winners from the previous draw. I suppose some of the winniners took 22-26 from

Alphanumeric substitution strategy
Bobby623, Isn't trying to predict the next draw, the objective? We analyze the prior drawings, try to observe trends, patterns, commonalities, associations, recurrences through some form of data analyisis to predict the next draw, or at least get a edge on getting a winning set of numbers on the next draw. Everybody here is essentially trying to improve the odds in their favor, we cannot with any certainty predict jack, but we try anyway, it is a gamble every time. Predicting the future i

Florida Fantasy-5 Players
With the addition of the midday drawing in March of last year (and I still say that was a whopper of a mistake on the part of The Florida Lottery. They certainly did NOT do players any favors) there are now 60 to 62 drawings per month. (As opposed to 30 to 31 in the good old days.) That's why all 36 FF5 numbers are usually drawn every month. It's next to impossible for any given number in a set of 36 numbers not to be drawn in 60, 61 or 62 drawings. In the good old days it occasionally happ

I feel your pain. I've bought a TON of lottery tickets over the many years I've played. The vast majority of which were NY's Take5. (Now days, FF5 is slowly catching up to Take5) There was a time when wondered if any five number combo that I ever bought, which was a loser, became a jackpot winner at a later date. The only way I could have ever known that was if I saved all of the thousands of tickets I bought (which I didn't) or if I had recorded the lines printed on them on a speadsheet. (I nev

Very good questions. I would think The Florida Lottery website will tell you what to bring with you to claim a jackpot. My guess is two forms of ID with one being a photo ID. I'm sure there are many who don't know what to do to prepare. As for me, I'd consult with an attorney if it was $100,000 or more. If less than $100,000 there will income tax with held so you might not need an attorney. It depends upon the individual players personal situation. Is there a hostile ex-wife or ex-husband inv

Yes, the C4L 3rd prize also doesn't interest me ... I don't want to be too much off topic here since I was originally replying to the other poster ... who thought playing MM and PB was the best way to win a million dollars. I was just pointing out that 'going by the odds' ... in my opinion the C4L game has the best odds for winning a million dollars with a two dollar ticket ... not talking about any raffle tickets or other games. I posted earlier the odds for a 'second place' win with C4L, MM

Now, if you read this thread on a regular basis, you probably know that I like to look at the numbers. Well, it's true. I do like to look at the numbers. I've looked at 'em every which way you can possibly look at 'em. And I like doing it too. But there's a problem. See, lookin' at the numbers I'm lookin' at, they all happened in the past. But I can't see any numbers that aint happened yet. Somebody told once me that you can use history as your guide. I'm not so sure that's true. But like

The numbers sure were shakey and flakey last nite. I had nada. That double single I keep lookin for refuses to fall... I bought the promo yesterday, maybe it'll pop tonite. Yesterday we went to the graduation party I spoke of in a previous post. My neice's daughter graduated from college, it was a nice affair at my nieces house. Anyway, my nephew (my neice's brother) was there too. He's the guy in my family that won a T5 jackpot three or four years ago with a QP. (Total of that JP was 68g
