In addition to change of ownership and businesses shutting down resulting in ticket destruction this also happens when: Retailers give the rest of an active book back to their rep for credit, the rep offers (potentially acting like the retailer doesn't have a choice) to take back part of an active roll, theft (fire, water damage, etc), all can cause tickets to be destroyed without accounting for them. I'd have to disagree that it could cause problems so easily. If a retailer calls in and orders game #1292 and they ask for 3 books, and there are only 3 in the warehouse, then they're added to that retailers order and the database is updated accordingly. Any retailer that would print the list after that last order, would not see the game. Any retailer ordering based on a list with it (say printed out the day before), would just be told it's no longer available, which FLL would know, because the

Who cashed in this ticket? Was it you rgse90? How did you find this ticket when nobody else sold it? There are still 7 50k and 1 top price of a million dollar for life. This is the last week to cash in all those 1 million dollar a year for life ticket prizes. Regarding Publix and the tight control from the Fla Lotto re: the tickets that they sell.. Not to start conspiracy talk (I don't like to go there usually), however, I'm beginning to think that part of this tight control is a tool to bring back top prize-winning tickets to be destroyed/warehoused (whatever they do).
