Texas was considering legal casinos at one point. There are illegal gamerooms everywhere, Its no secret. You will see Texans at casinos in all neighboring states. Oklahoma, New Mexico and Lousiana. Instead of passing legislation for legal casinos they opt to give us 100 dollar scratch tickets. Lol

Still no Online poker in KY and while West Virginia created Online poker legislation, there are no poker sites there. From what I've read, most state lotteries won't be running Online poker games and that could be why only six states offer it.

The Kentucky Legislation finally noticed most of the states surrounding KY have sports betting and Online poker and are debating whether they should follow suit or continue watching the KY gaming money leave the state. Most of the race tracks already have slot machines so adding other forms of gambling should be easy and create more state revenue.

IMO, eventually every lottery will offer online sales including the daily pick-3 and pick-4 games, but currently some states are having problems passing legislation. Probably because some people are saying adding online sales promote more problem gamblers. Kentucky has offered online off track betting for years and with all the casinos and race tracks in Indiana, there is no logical reason to not have online lottery wagering.
