Winning the PB or MM jackpots
Satisfaction. The definition itself means to derive pleasure from something, such as talking with friends about possibly winning. Someone spending a dollar to take their mind off other troubles for just a bit. Entertainment. Enjoyment of something. Evidently, according to your theories, the purchase of a lottery ticket doesn't include such nonsense as satisfaction or entertainment. Why then do you come to a lottery site and post? Not a slam, you have every right. Just a straight-up question.

Do Lottery Software program help YOU WIN lottery?
I believe there are many P-3/4 players who don't care what they lose to win. They have an entertainment budget to tap and play, that simply doesn't matter what it goes for. That's the main goal of state lotteries, to help people who enjoy gambling their money away. If one has a large entertainment budget for that then go for it. I have a budget of $10 two or three times a week which covers all the entertainment I need. Some times I win most times I don't.

Do you enjoy scratch offs as a form of entertainment?
I do. Think about it. Yes, it's great to win, but to me, buying a scratch off ticket has always been a form of entertainment. The anticipation - waiting to get home to see if you're the big winner. Even if you can't wait to get home and scratch the ticket at the store. Pulse rises. Then - more often than not, it's a loser, and life goes on.. I know that there are people who buy scratch offs and then scratch off only the symbol to see how much they've won - but isn't half the fun in the antici

HELP! Macro to eliminate 5 match numbers
I look at lottery predictions as an attempt to forecast lottery drawing results before the actual drawing based on past results, statistics and anything else that one thinks will help. At LP predictions are done for entertainment and as a hobby and is not meant to be taken to the bank regardless of the seriousness of the predictors. Playing and discussing the lotteries is a form of entertainment to me. When some predictors post over 5000 combinations a day and are lucky to have even 1% of the

Do You Ever Exceed Your Lottery Budget?
I don't have a lot of discretionary income, so I decided that lottery is my entertainment. Reasonable entertainment for someone of my income level would be a movie every week, so I base my budget on what I would spend for a movie and snacks. I usually spend around $15 a week, never more than $20 on my entertainment budget. The only time I don't stick to it is when there's a raffle, then I exceed my budget by $10 a couple times. But that's no problem, I just cut back on the dog's food for a fe

Often, and maybe always, the organization uses more than one machine and several sets of balls. In addition they perform test runs between draws but never report the results. Thus one must base any analysis on incomplete data. I've offered him a mathematical analysis of lotto predictions regardless of how they are made, but he is not interested. It might put a damper on the sensel

Lottery ticket sales increase across country
Well, since the article claimed (and I agree) that buying a lottery ticket, each draw, is considered cheap entertainment expense it would have been good to see what other comparable, cheap entertainment expenses Cornell listed in their study. In my community, there is an old Cinemark 10 screen theator that charges $1 to anyone to most any movie at any time on Tuesdays (and senior citizens are also welcome to pay $1 for the same on Mondays). Two additional cheap entertainments I can think
