Okay I got your table in excel format, I converted to .csv file (text file) to make it easier to read in from a computer program. I see 98 columns of 6278. 49 of the 98 columns of 6278 I generated along time ago in that they are the belt/loop with a different initial seed rotated by one. I'm not sure about the other 49 columns. I remember these numbers because I stated in another thread you started here last year that you can find match3 using this database in drawn order but rarely did you find match4 or above. The key was trying to link the 2 match3 strings together. Anyway I am rambling, I thought you were going to provide a database of past drawn results for Lotto, daily, extra, thunder, ...etc? I thought it was a past drawn database that you were using to do the match3 analysis in this thread versus using a belt/loop generated database? Guess I am confused.

Hello,
For those interested I have started writing the program for Moses it can be downloaded here:
http://www.cowasoft.com/gls/gls.zip
This is a Windows program.
It just has basic functionality for searching database and finding specified match count. Similiar to results with winlotto. Once interested people verify this functionality I will be added the more complicated algorithm.
When entering the match string separate numbers using a space character. If the number is 1-9 then precede it with a 0. So for example if you want to search for draws that match draw 02-09-11-18-21-33-14 then you would enter is as the following into the dialog box:
02 09 11 18 21 33 14
If you don't separate numbers with spaces or precede numbers 1-9 with a 0 then it will not parse the string correctly.
Once the program is completed then I will be providing the source code for those interested.

Will be posting a newer version 1.01 tonight that is getting closer, but Moses will need to fill in the blanks to complete the algorithm.
With this version you have the following:
1) Select File Menu, and select "Search Database". This will allow you to input a 7 number draw and search the database for draws that match the specified match count. Besides writing the result output to display, the results are also stored in ResultsTxt\Results.txt file. This file is a standard text file that can be viewed using Notepad. In addition the results are also stored in HTML format in ResultsHtml\Results.htm. You can view this file in browser and it will highlight the numbers that matched.
2) Select File Menu, and select "Predict using previous draws". This will allow you to input a draw A, and a Draw B. As above besides writing the result output to the display the results are also stored in ResultsTxt\ResultsA.txt and ResultsTxt\ResultsB.txt. These are standard text files than can be viewed using Notepad. In addition the results are also stored in HTML format in ResultsHtml\ResultsA.htm and ResultsHtml\ResultsB.htm. You can view these files in browser and it will show the numbers highlighted that match.
So now that we have a ResultsA file (either text or html) and a ResultsB file (either text or htm) what is the next step that you want be to do? Of course this question is for Moses, so please try application, give feedback and what you want me to do next. Again I will be posting the newer version later tonight, so wait until then to download.

Hi Jim,
I apologize for not taking a more active part in this matter, however my 10 year old computer is on the fritz and I'm trying to fix the problem.
I did take a look at your first version of GLS and I was impressed. Nice going.
In what programming language did you code the program?

Hello Jimmy and Chester
This is how I think it should be done;
Method 1 (ideal program)
Load database
(A)Find match 3 for latest draw (Sat OR Wed) and (B)Find m3+ for this one OR all draws
Entre the actual result (say Wed) ------------- and Entre one or all results here (Sat before)
Remove all duplicates from both files A and B by date
Wheel the remaining numbers and remove all duplicate wheel three and over (if you have a,b,c in file A and also have the same a,b,c in file B however that the dates could be different but still produce duplicate prediction so must be removed)
Zip up or merge the both files A and B together using at least one link number which is shared between them; example from file A the top of the list (1) should be compared to all listings in file B and only zip up to those files which have one identical number and then the next line (2) from file A to all results in file B.
Remove the duplicates after zipping up as one prediction can be repeated more than once!
And finally the checklist box to put the new draw in there as seed and search for all matches inside the predictions!
This is it I think anyway for the time being

I have lots of formulas if you want to try. This one is relatively nice.I have used it for some competition.
Formula 16
The advantage is that when you have 6 winning numbers in 20 numbers, specially front 12 or back 12 numbers have all winning numbers, you can expect a jackpot in 16 tickets only.
1 01 20 02 05 06 04
2 01 20 02 05 06 07
3 01 20 02 05 13 04
4 01 20 02 05 13 07
5 01 20 02 12 06 04
6 01 20 02 12 06 07
7 01 20 02 12 13 04
8 01 20 02 12 13 07
9 01 09 08 05 06 04
10 01 09 08 05 06 07
11 01 09 08 12 13 04
12 01 09 08 12 13 07
13 14 20 08 05 13 04
14 14 20 08 12 06 07
15 14 09 02 05 13 07
16 14 09 02 12 06 04for example.
Winning Numbers 3 7 8 16 19 30
3***, 11,26, 16***, 30***, 07***, 29, 19***, 8***, 44, 14, 6, 21, 12, 48, 4, 22, 20, 46, 34
The pointers in formula is 1,4,5,6,8,9.There you got a jackpot in ticket 9.
Good luck

Hello its just straight C/C++ using Windows API. The main window is just a Windows Rich Edit Control. I chose a rich edit control so that I could easily highlight the matched numbers, it makes it a little more visual. I write device drivers for a living but not necessarily UI programs so the UI is not going to be anything great but it should fit the purpose.
As previously said once done, I will provide the source code along with the binaries so anyone would be able to modify it if they have some Windows programming skills and a Microsoft C/C++ compiler. The program is open source without any restrictions so anyone can do anything that want to with it. Its kinda of hard-coded in how it reads the database (it assumes the file format) so this would have to be expanded or made more generic to potentially work for other lotteries.

Okay I will try and incorporate this tonight if I get the time.
I guess if Camelot catches on we will have to take our algorithm discussion offline.
By the way I'm trying to write all the output into an html file so that it makes it easier to post the results into this forum. I actually entered some numbers into a reply on this forum thread and highlighted them and hit the "Edit HTML Source" to see what the generated HTML looked like and mimiced that in my program. So hopefully it will make it easy to enter the results here.

Here is sample output of html. I opened up the .htm file I generated in browser and hit CTRL-A using keyboard to select all. I then created this response and hit CTRL-V (Paste) from keyboard to paste into this reply. Pretty simple. I'm all about letting the computer do all the work.

Hi Jim,
You have some solid skills there.
@Moses
When creating TextA and TextB, don't you need to search for 3+ matches for both draws?
I see on an earlier page in this post that when you searched for a Wed draw, you did a search for 3+ matches.
So (until further corrected) TextA = (Sat search for 3+ matches), TextB = (Wed search for 3+ matches)
Once you have your two files, TextA is broken into 4 combo lines, and TextB is broken into 3 combo lines.
Those results are then link together using one common number.

Yes I thought what Moses was doing was the way you descibed it, I'm not sure what he means by wheeling. I'm going to try it the way you described first. I will provide a Draw A field to enter the last draw into, a Draw B field to enter the next to last draw into. From these 2 results files ResultA.txt and ResultB.txt we will generate our predictions into file PredictAB.txt. I will also provide a Results Draw field to enter the results after the fact to find all matches from PredictAB.txt to see how well we did. Will try and code this tomorrow night. In theory we can create a second database that contains all the UK lottos in triplets, and let our program create ResultsA, ResultsB, create PredictionAB and compare against DrawC to see how we did for each triplet and do this for all the UK lottos to see if the algorithm works for all draws. After all if your going to invest alot of money to play all the predictions you want to know what your cost to hit ratio is.

Okay lets use these partial results to try and hash the algorithm out for me to understand. Imagine that we are trying to predict the results for UK lotto draw 1470 which was 16-19-07-03-08-30-09.
I used the UK Lotto draw 1469 16-18-17-27-28-02-43 as draw A in my program. It found the following match 3's in all past draws (I'm only showing the first 10 match3 results)
27. 46-15-17-28-16-32-22
41. 21-41-18-38-16-27-26
71. 30-18-05-14-43-07-28
72. 37-12-49-27-26-28-43
113. 16-43-04-11-18-35-39
146. 09-02-13-18-27-48-24
157. 27-38-28-40-12-17-06
158. 14-02-09-48-36-43-27
165. 04-28-11-21-34-27-16
188. 18-17-15-34-40-27-29
The above results I am labeling ResultsA.
I then used UK Lotto draw 1468 14-42-10-27-07-04-25 as draw B in my program. It found the following match 3's in all past draws (again I am only showing the first 10 match results)
44. 37-14-25-41-10-02-05
65. 14-28-11-04-15-42-06
85. 34-35-17-27-46-04-07
162. 45-44-09-04-27-37-07
174. 25-36-44-47-10-04-29
177. 43-22-14-38-10-30-25
213. 38-25-14-07-36-32-44
222. 31-25-27-09-42-45-24
226. 16-37-02-25-45-27-10
247. 22-19-27-06-14-07-09
The above results I am labeling ResultsB.
The green highlights the match 3 found in the respective searches.
So taking line 1 of ResultsA
27. 46-15-17-28-16-32-22
Do I want to use unmatched numbers 46-15-32-22 and search for a match1 against the unmatched numbers in lines of ResultsB?
For example the 2nd line of ResultsB is
65. 14-28-11-04-15-42-06
The number 15 links them together so would our prediction then be 46-32-22-28-11-06 or sorted as 06-11-22-28-32-46?
The 3rd line of Results B is
85. 34-35-17-27-46-04-07
The number 46 links them together so would our prediction then be 15-32-22-34-35-17 or sorted as 15-17-22-32-34-35.
I would continue this for rest of ResultsB using line 1 of ResultsA and then repeat the process for line2 of ResultsA against ResultsB and so on. Is this the correct algorithm? Or do we want the link number 15 and 46 in my examples to be a part of our prediction?
If I'm not doing it correctly then please use the examples I have provided above to tell me exactly how we should do it?
You should be able to copy (CTRL+C) and paste(CTRL+V) from this reply into your reply if you want to use my results to explain it to me.

Good morning Jimmy and Chester
Yes Jimmy, all correct and you have got it 100% right.
As you know we have more than one game in UK so what I am looking for is to compare the variation of all lotteries against the latest result! Either one against one (Wed -v- Sat) or Wed -v- against all lotteries! This way we would know for sure if the theory is correct or not and if they do use different games as switching point! The common number between the two results A and B I think quite possibly is the Bonus Ball
They combine any two draws that they wish
Lotto Wed + Lotto Sat
Lotto Wed + Thunder Ball
Lotto Wed + Daily
Lotto Wed + Euro
Lotto Wed + Eurotelemillions
Lotto Wed + Irish
OR
Lotto Sat + Thunder Ball
Lotto Sat + Euro
Lotto Sat + Daily
Lotto Sat + Irish
Lotto Sat + Eurotelemillions or indeed all other variations that is possible between all the draws (this can explain the number of machines involved)
BTW, I am keeping close eye on UK lotto result and I do feel the information on forum had already put some impact on the results! For the past 4 UK lotto results mostly 6 numbers below 27 but I do expect to see some high numbers in 40s for tonight's result!
