The HotSpot promotion is on again until June 1st. I think the bonus prize structures look similar to the one just recently.
Just had a bad day at the Video Keno machines last night (the IGT Game King variety, those have a payout of 93.6%), only could get 3 out of 4 spots and 5 out of 7 spots at best. One more hit for each would have been the difference between a good day and a bad day.

Thanks for being able to contact the CALottery and obtain the information. I heard the lottery was public information for the longest time, but did not know to what extent. Two more GP have been claimed since that date, but it is interesting to know it does not get distributed sequentially. So it is about just going out and buying tickets.
I think when I played a bunch during its debut, most of my ticket IDs fell in batch 1, 2, or 3. leads me to assume the GP winners are sitting at places in which does not sell a whole lot of ticket
Actually, I believe GPs are distributed sequentially. Jon D was nice enough to correct my error. I confused the difference between GP tkt numbers with the upper & lower batch tkt ranges. Each of the 5 5MJP GPs fit into individual batch tkt ranges of 80000, altho the numerical difference between some GP tkt numbers were less than 80000. The 2 GPs I didn't have were won earlier. My data was from Nov to May & 5MJP began in Sept. I know one of those 2 was purchased in LA or Burbank as they have a blurb about the winner on CALottery website.

This game seems due for a TP payout before it rides into the sunset, although I don't know if TP claim(s) are being processed or if TP tickets may have been thrown away or lost.

A friend and I were having a similar discussion. I wouldn't buy a ticket at the location. My thought is that the chances of the location having another large prize is low. No one I know has won on CA Blacks.
The 20 x game (1108) released additional prizes. My friend thinks that the new prize tickets should be in circulation and its okay to play. I think she should wait because the new prizes aren't in circulation yet. I noticed that she use to get maybe $20.00 or more back from $55.00 worth of tickets. Now she gets nothing. Any opinions?

I think it would be ok to buy 20X the Money, they just added 4- 5 more top prizes. Even before that the game was about 60-70% sold so they planned on expanding the game's shelf life. I think CALottery found the 20X's model to be more appealing than Win It All or Smoking Hot Cash as it offers more $50 prizes with lowered GP $250k to $200k.
I've had rough patches with $5 games before and I bought 10 at a time a week even with the $10 games. In a 3 week span. Got a 2 TICKETS and a $6 out of 30 tickets. Just keep playing even if its little, 2 or 3 tickets. A normal return from $5 10 ticket purchases was about $20 - $35 for me.

Get em while you can. Cashed a $20 DM w & vendor asked me where I got it. He said can't order any more Diamond Millionaire.
Thanks for the heads up. I still cannot find any myself.
I predict DM will have about 2 million entries for replay if it ends with half the top prizes remaining. It will be the best possible odds to win a $1Million prize that is guaranteed to be given away in a very long time (not sure if people remembers the CALottery Raffle).

someone won 100gs on the 20 dollar tickets at the gas station i frequent. should i not buy tickets at that location ?
bought four ca blacks from a brand new roll.
01 20 $
2-4 nothing.
Personally I would buy a different game if I were to buy tickets from a location that has sold a big prize, then again I never crossed that bridge before.

Even with re-orders, top prizes seem to be distributed roughly, relative to sales. Assuming a top prize ticket is not currently being processed or lost, this game seems to be due for a top prize win at any time.
Also, we don't know how the CA Lottery integrates re-order prints to their ticket population, whether they get mixed in with first run prints or just added to the end. Hypothetically, if re-order tickets are added to the end, we should still be seeing first run prints at stores. This game started with 17 top prizes with 5 added later. The odds don't change because all prizes (and losers) are added proportionally for each top prize added, so I would assume we would experience the same winning or losing pattern as before, unless the re-orders are much more/less clumpy with winners which may give the appearance that it's easier or harder to win.

Here's another chart I created that better illustrates the additional prizes added to the 20X The Money game. Honestly, it doesn't matter if the re-order prizes are in circulation or not for mid to lower tier prizes. As I mentioned above, the odds don't change because prizes and losing tickets are added proportionally. For the top two prizes, calculating how they're doing relative to sales is generally a decent barometer to gauge when a top prize may be circulation.
You'll see that the re-order of 5 top prizes for this game added a total of 6,000,000 tickets, with ~1.6 million being winners of some sort, and ~4.4 million losing tickets. This maintains the overall odds of 1 in 3.75.
