Got some more $5M JP at a few stores, all single buys:

tkt, 0, $20

Can't seem to hit anything decent...

And a couple $5 tickets:

Smokin Hot: $6, 0

Win It All: 0, $30

Not a problem. It is the first time I am ever keeping track of my scratcher outcomes. Wanted to also analyze where in the roll most winners reside.

Not off to a good start in terms of ROI, but I am not too discouraged yet (but probably will be in a short time). I think $500 wins will bring up the ROI to a more slightly respectable level, I have won a good share of $100 wins from $5 scratchers at 1 in 400 odds but like Jon said, you have to take serious pain to play.

Definitely I will not be able to buy 10 at a time like the stats you saw, but my managable goal is to play at least once a week with 3 at a time throughout the lifespan of this scratcher.

Never a good idea to go to the local gas station with plenty of cash on hand ...

got royally rocked by the new $20 game ...

      0 of 4 (#007-010)

i usually hate those numbers ... and it proved true today ...

it was off a machine, and was gonna stop after one, but it was 007 and the machine usually dispenses backwards, and i love playing 006 and that's how $80 ended up in the machine and not in my wallet ...

better luck to you all ...

Has anyone had the same experience with particular ticket #s?

I don't think ticket number matters, at least for low-tier prizes. Low-tier is $25 and below, or for the $20 game, $50 and below. Those winners are randomly placed within a pack, although there may be a set minimum total.

For mid-tier prizes, ($30-$599) those may be more deliberately placed, so ticket numbers may be of interest. All other winner $600 and above (high-tier) could be anywhere.

I think you will eventually find a $50 or $100 winner on those $20 Scratchers sooner much rather than later, the odds are comparable to most $5 for the $10, $15, $20 range.

          As for consecutive losses,

Worst stretch I ever had with scratcher was with the $10 1,000,000 fortune.

I bought a set of 10, and all of them were losing tickets. I went back to the same store the next day, and noticed the next number was just 1 ticket inbetween my last purchase. I got another 10 of those and got 9 losers/1 FREE ticket. This was only last year, and I skipped a few weeks after such loss.

Other than that, another honorable mention is I once bought 40 of the same $1 scratcher ticket, and only 1 of them won for $2.

Got a couple more $5M JP, 1 each at two stores, 2 for 2:

            $20, $25

So far, I have been playing the $20 game with only single buys, only 1 ticket per store. Got great hit ratio of 50%, but not so great prize ratio of 53% after 14 tickets. Actually, could be (should be) worse since I still haven't hit any prize over $25.

You will likely get your $100 or $50 win on your next purchase or two, $50 is set for 1 in 21.

I felt like playing again so I ended up taking my winning tickets to redeem for more.

Store was selling two rolls of the tickets but both were at the end of the roll and will be out of stock until the next shippment. I bought out all 7 of the tickets

                Tickets #25-29, 28-29: Loss, $25 (5 $5), Loss , Loss, Loss, Loss, $100 (20X $5), Loss

Still not a profit, but a better ROI than the previous 3 purchases. I got my first prizes on the $25 and $100 on the same purchase, also landed my first Multiplier win.

Since Flickr removed my last images, I am hoping to see if Photobucket will retain them.

Previous Winner from 9-30-2013 $50 (50 Fast Spot)

                Fast 50 Win for $50

                Ticket #28 $100 (20X $5)

                20X Multiplier of $5 for $100 Win

Went out an tried another 10 tickets at a time, no better luck as the other two times. Thought the third time would be the charm but just hit on 2 of them

I will consider trying a 10 ticket batch one or two more times.

                    Ticket #10: $100 ($50 + FAST SPOT 50)

I won $500 playing blackjack at San Manuel so I bought 5 $20 tickets (016-020). Won $100 off the bat on 016. Hit a $50 fast spot on 019. BTW, most of the time, I will always hit something on tickets ending in 9.

Pretty good nights worth of playing for you! I've yet to have a profitable purchase from the $20 scratcher, but I am still going to stick with it..

I typically play slots at a casino and its pretty hard to win money from San Manuel (but their table games paytables are better than Las Vegas).

Obiviousl odds are worse on scratchers/slots than on three card/four card/paigow/blackjack, but their payout potential is much higher though it would take pain to hopefully experience  it.

Ouch, that hurts. Sorry to hear.

As this $20 game has shown, it plays like the east coast games. Bunches of winners, but also long strings of losers. Chasing wins can be a very dangerous activity.
