Second $100 winner on WoF, though still haven't gotten the two vowels. I won $30 off this same roll the other day (low sales at this place).

You never buy $5 tickets, though. You would never gotten that winner since you only buy $20 and $25 tix.

This is true, and I guess this shows that we truly don't know where the winners will end up. I think sometimes mixing things up, and playing a wide variety of $1-$25 tickets is the way to go.

Imagine how the person feels who knows they recently bought tickets off that same roll. Just one more $5 purchase to win the $500,000 jackpot...

Awesome. When I first started playing lotto, I creeped through the early posts on this thread. I've seen many of your posts about Big Jim/Steve the Midget.

I am so happy that it was a regular who won that big prize. It really is encouraging to long-term players.

Skeptic, that's definitely a feel good story.  I'm glad that somebody who plays regularly and is a decent human being won.  I always get annoyed with the people who buy their first $25 ticket and hit $1M or that turn out to be pedophiles.

Dracos, i'll post tomorrow or sometime this week the info on the $200MS.  Basically, there are about 100+/- rolls of the $200MS in circulation.  There are 2 top prizes advertised but probably only one (at best) remaining.

I also received updated instant liability reports for the $10 Holiday Game and the Super Millions to post.  I just have trouble getting the format correct so that the columns line up straight for the webpage.

I haven't seen anymore $200MS in Jacksonville. I found one place that had a few, but they were on their last few tickets. That game is extremely hard to get tickets from. With there being such a low number in circulation and it having generally good odds at hitting $100, $500, and $1000, it is still one of the best games out there to play. Oooh, I'd love to know updated information on the $10 Holiday and Super Millions game.

My strategy is going to change. I think when I play biweekly, I'll probably use $100-$200 to play the $20 Gold Rush game (since they refilled some of jackpot prizes).

I'll try post again later with proper formatting.  The third column is the total prizes for each prize level.  The fourth column is the value of the prizes for each prize level.  The fifth column is the total prizes claimed for each prize level.  The sixth column is the value of the prizes claimed for each prize level.  The seventh column is the total percentage of prizes claimed at that prize level and the eighth column and ninth columns are the total number and dollar value of the remaining prizes.

                Gatorsrok:

(This post previously said something else but I realized I misread which report was which, so here's an edit).

                Thank you.

I would love to see these reports for King's Ransom and Escape to Margaritaville. Especially if the reports would reflect grand prizes that were reclaimed/destroyed (whatever the term is) but aren't reflected on the website. 50% of the grand prizes in those games, as old as they are, seems high.

So based on gatorsrok's post, here are the revised (current) odds for the $10 Holiday game. As I was putting them together I thought, wow these look a lot better. Then I actually compared them to the original odds and realized they're nearly spot on with the exception of the top prize (much better odds now) and the $10k prize odds (way worse now).

Second $100 winner on WoF, though still haven't gotten the two vowels. I won $30 off this same roll the other day (low sales at this place).

I once thought I won on the vowels game.  Then I realized my "i" was a "j"!

Crap. These numbers are off. This is what I get for doing this late at night.

They're off because I used the 91.01% prizes claimed to figure out the total number of tickets remaining. This is not accurate as this 91.01% only represents the percentage of prizes claimed (and therefore 8.99% outstanding). None of the numbers seem to show how many total tickets remain so I'm unable to figure out the odds as they currently stand.

That said, I would assume that if 91.01% of prizes have been claimed, that somewhere in that range of tickets have been scratched as well, but this is just a guess. If you look down the list of remaining prizes, all of the percentages for the prizes claimed are in this general range - so it does seem like a fairly safe assumption. Additionally, since the odds I worked out as of now nearly matched up to what they originally started as, it would also point towards the number of tickets sold being in this 90% range.

If I missed something, let me know of course.

Florida needs to enact similar legislative initiatives. Rgse90 just posted this about NY legislation to stop destroying tickets.

Same roll as the other one. The other one was ticket #36 (this is #43). I ended up buying through #51 and only got like a $20 and a $10.

That's awesome that RGSE90 was able to advocate for change in the NY Lottery, and that he succeeded. It is truly inspiring.

Something needs to be done here in FL. Destroying tickets affects the integrity of a game, especially if the lottery doesn't double check to ensure that destroying tickets isn't removing top jackpot tickets. It can certainly skew the results. If the lottery were destroying non jackpot tickets, I'm sure people would be more okay and accepting of that (or if they had a policy where they would recreate a new ticket if a jackpot ticket were in a book that had to be destroyed due to whatever reason).

Oldghost - Gratz on the $100 win! As far as your results going through the 50's, that sounds typical.

I found a $30 Holiday Gifts winner in my pile of "losers" yesterday. I bought 3 tickets, found 2 losers and another $30 winner. Bought 3 more tickets, and all duds. =p I still need to be smart enough to walk away from a break even session. The elusive "what if..." thought with those jackpots still out there makes it worth it to avid lotto players.
