The day after my streak of 11 losers on 2.00 gold rush, I did go to Winn Dixie. No water, but I did get 12 more tickets, this time 2.oo monopoly. Found four winners in that stack...two tickets for 2.00 each, a train for 2.00 (four), and two matching numbers for 5.00 each.
Yesterday, my go-to store was closed, so I went to a shell station close to the house. Bought one 10.00 monopoly (looser) and nine more 2.00 monopoly. Only two winners there. One was another train for 2.00, the other showed me my first moneybag! I thought a hundred dollar winner until the first $25.00 spot showed up. Turned out to be $200.00!!! My best two dollar ticket ever. Gonna try to post it...my first photo this year, I think.
Best wishes to all of you this weekend. There ARE winners out there after all! Clark

Well, I sort of went a little crazy with my new found wealth. I killed the roll of 2.00 goldrush, bought 3 of 5.00 goldrush and 5.00 monopoly, and one each of 10.00 flamingo multiplier (#11), monopoly (#20) and 5000 week for life. I dodged the bullet today...
week for life...match for 5 and a coin for 5
multiplier...10X for 2.00
monopoly lost
all six 5.00 tickets lost
2.00 goldrush...single match for 2.00
AND
Spent 86.00, won 82. Think I'll treat myself to a break tomorrow. All the best, people. Show me the money!

Nice win Clark,
Those big wins on the $2 tickets are very elusive. Maybe the $50k is lurking out there for you.

I was driving through Gainesville today and stopped by AK's. They had a brand new roll of the $2M Jackpot (Roll # 272,065). Despite my intentions not to splurge, I went through the entire roll. Unfortunately a bunch of $10/$15 and $20 winners. I did get this one winner to offset some of the losses.

For those wondering how much I have spent chasing the dream, it breaks down kinda like this...
I never really played on a regular basis until about April of this year. The only reason I started playing then was to specifically go after the Holiday Gifts prize. I had spent about $2,500 of my own cash on top of trading in every winning ticket for more of those tickets and never banking any winnings. I ended up finding that 2 million winner on June 8th.
About 2 weeks after I won that 2 million, and finding the 250k ticket in Kings Ransom, I had only spent about $400 of my own cash on tickets, and again cashing in all winners for more tickets. I consider this one to be the luckiest win since it happened so quickly.
Over the last few months I have spent much more than normal because of my tax write off ability for this year. I spent 7k at 1 stop at AK a few months ago. Id say from the time I won the KR until the time I hit the 100k on GR, I spent about $10k total and again recycled all of my winnings out of that into buying more tickets. So with that factored in, I probably played about $14k in tickets....

Same with me in Tampa, no luck. I work out in dade city and bought a gold rush doubler and hit $100 on my first ticket, only bought one more that day and it broke even. Have bought probably 6 since then and all have been losers or have broke even. Anybody know of a good store in Dade city or Zephryhills that has been doing decent?

I'm sorry for your loss. I just saw where a woman won first $1 million prize on new gold rush game at the publix up the street from me. I rarely play at publix but seem a lot of big ticket winners come from there. If I do play there I usually do counter, maybe I'll try the machine. Which one did you do? I won $30 on a $5 cashfall ticket the other day and that's as good as it been in a few months for me lol. I may stop off at a few no name town on my way back down to Orlando for a few tickets to see what happens.

The ones I purchased yesterday were out of the counter, but i often get them from the machines as I often end up in line at the counter behind someone having the clerk scan 30 pick 3 tickets to see if they won. I hate that!!!
I have won many $500 and $1,000 tickets out of the machines, but not this year. This year I have been lucky to hit $100 a few times. It's been losers or breaking even tickets this year.

I did NOT take a day off on Sunday, but I should have. Spent 75.00 in assorted five dollar tickets...two of this, two of that, ect. Wound up with $35.00 in winners. I knew I could do better, so a few hours later bought 8 $2.00 monopoly and 7 gold rush. Won two bucks on each game. Sheeeesse!
Yesterday, I bought at two places. The game was Fast 100. Ten tickets from the Winn Dixie machine, and ten more from the tobacco shop where I got my grand last April. See page 76 for that bad boy. I also got 2 $10.00 monopoly, which both lost. What did win was 94, 95, 96, and 100 from Winn Dixie. 25, 4, 2, and 10. Only 1 winner for 20 from the tobacco shop.
The semi exciting part of the days adventure was how I got my 20 and 25. Check this out...the bottom line was that I cleared a whole dollar! Doctor at 9:30...more tickets later today. Hopefully something will be photo worthy. Good fortune, everyone...Clark

Congratz on the wins Clark! Extremely well deserved. I hope you a hit a jackpot soon, you deserve it bud.
I hope everyone is doing well. I took a 2 week break from playing scratchers, and decided to play a bit today. Lost money on $20/$25 tickets, and realized that I'm much happier (and better off financially) not playing at all. The journey of playing scratchoffs, and engaging with this community has been fun. I'm 24 years old, and need to focus on saving up my money. I want to pay off my credit card debt, and student loans, so it is essential for me to quit playing scratchers. Regardless of the debt/financial setback I've gained inadvertently from scratchers, I don't regret any of it as I've learned alot from this experience. I'll miss the friends I've made on this community, and I enjoyed the journey and challenge of chasing jackpots such as the $10 Holiday Gifts, $10 50X The Cash, and $20 Super Millions.
Here's my last win, and post I'll be making on this forum. I bought 8 $1 tickets, which returned $55 back from a Publix in Coral Springs. Odds of hitting $50 on the new $1 Quick Cash is an alarming 1/4000.
I'm rooting for many of you, and hope that if you continue to play scratchers you find a life changing prize. I'm wishing you all the best!
