GAME 100 X - I just re read the answer from Fl Lottery as to why no one can order them.

" .....the reason they cannot be ordered is because they are all out in the marketplace ....... if you want to find out who might have some, contact your local Lottery office and ask what stores in your zip code has them....."

If they are all out we should be hearing who won one of the remaining $1M prizes and of course the last BIG one.

IMO - if no one claims one of the top prizes over, say, a period of time  - then the Lottery did not put out all remaining tickets - OR - those tickets are holed up in some remote small town store getting old ...... and IF the Lottery officially ends the game and recalls ALL tickets out there ... well, I can only guess and wonder ....but we'll probably never know the final answer ........whatever - it is SUX :)     Ha Ha

And yes, the last 100 X rolls that were delivered a few weeks ago had some HOT HOT wins - not so it seems for rolls that were laying around in stores for weeks and months. Even though - look how many $1M's were claimed as well as  top prizes since the game came out...... that's it. I'm done talking about this game. Over and out !!

I agree with you, they are probably in some store where most people stick to the $1-$5 scratchers, and the $20-$25 just sit there and get old.

florida uses a private vendor to print warehouse and distribute tickets. they will swear the do not know where the winning tickets go, i think that is an out right lie, jacksonsville gets its fair share of winners but the areas are always the same.

      Thanks for your feedback.

Since I continuously question the integrity of the Corporation, I happen to agree with you.  In fact, so so so rarely is a jackpot of any kind won down here in Miami.  It always seems to be from about South Orlando upwards.

Did you have any thoughts on my playing strategies?  20x $5 ticks, 10x $10 ticks, 5x $20 ticks or 4x $25 ticks?

I seriously doubt there's any difference between the Lottery vending machines and the ticket counter...but do others think there is?

Has anyone seen a store count every single ticket sold, as they are being sold? The Citgo near my house does this. The one where I try not to play because the owner is always sitting out front scratching loads of tickets himself, I've even seen him scratching behind the counter a few times. I went there today and bought 2 100X Cash from a new roll (not sure if its just an old one they still had). I bought #039 & #038, I scratched them inside the store, and overheard one of the clerks ask how many I bought as she wrote the number down in a spiral notebook. Ticket #039 won for $25 bucks, so I cashed it and bought #037 which won $40 and another woman bought several smaller tickets, and again the other cashier asked how many the woman bought and wrote it down in the notebook. I have never seen any other store do this before. It seems shady, or maybe I am just paranoid lol.

They do that here when shift change is coming..

Not that unusual.  They need to know what number its on when the new shift comes on.

Or they're playing the odds...and waiting until they should buy in between you and I buying.

The Lottery Corporation just cares about sales, but if you want my opinion, I think it it abhorrent when you watch the store proprietor buying/scratching while working the Cashier.  Most Casinos ban their employees from even playing in their own casino - even if off-duty, to help in eliminating the Public's perception that there is any kind of house-advantage.  I can give a factual example of a store proprietor that works right across the road from my Office, who not only plays, but obviously suffers from some kind of addiction - and scratches and scratches and scratches tickets at all times.  Gets all giddy when she wins "$100", but can you imagine how much she's costing the business/herself?

Which brings me to questioning the group here:  I have never hit anything to speak about here in Florida (I did in another un-named State last year).  But like the slot-machine "winner" of a "Hand Pay Jackpot", just how much have you 'winners' spent just to win $500 or even $1000?  Come on, fess-up.  How many THOUSANDS have you spent to win the few hits?

I don't play scratchers very often, but the at the little c-store where I buy my draw tickets the store owner plays scratchers often. I'll ask her every time I go in if she's had any big wins. I don't see a big deal about it. When I do buy a scratcher she doesn't notate it, but I never scratch it in the store.

If it's something that really bothers you, maybe try buying tickets out of a vending machine at a Publix.

Oh now you all get lots of winners down in Miami, do you ever check the reports page, where it list where the grand prize winners are for each of the games.  It may be like here in Jax, if I you dont play in a less desirable area you are not going to win..Ive played long enough to know this is fact, and statistics will show its not just my opinion.    flalottery.com/reports.do , and you can see all of the winners top prizes only.

                biggest hit 10k, Jubilee, 5K Miami Heat, 2K Emerald 8s, 1k jubilee, 1k GRT, 1k heat wave, multiple 500's

good luck in the chase 2013 wins, maybe 4 500's

Well, I stand corrected...partially.  :)  There are some Miami-vicinity winners.  Of note, I don't think I saw any at the big name Grocery stores, which is telling me to start heading towards the convenience/gas-station stores.  This coming weekend, that's what I'm going to do.

By the way, really appreciate the link to the winner's declaration!

Do any of you have the "gut feelings" of a particular day-of-the-week that you buy your tickets on?

Cashed in my 2 $30 winners yesterday and went to 2 sort of rural locations looking for tickets. 1 was at the Qwik King near the corner of SW 27ave/SW85th St just south of Ocala. They didn't have any 100x tickets.

The other location was a place called "Cost Cutters Food Store" near the corner of SW85th St and Magnolia Ave. They don't do gas so it's kind of a rural convenience store. He had a roll of 100X currently active. I only bought 1 #026 which was another $30 winner (oddly had 3 matching numbers with 2 of the numbers a 7 the same along with 35).

So his roll still has #27-#39, but I didn't feel like chasing. If you're near enough and looking for tickets, they've got them. This is the most tickets I've seen and the only ones I've found for locations in Zip Code 34476/34481, but I'm sure other rural locations probably still have them as well. I might trade it in tomorrow if I can find another location, we'll see.

You might say it just had to happen - was at Publix this morning and who do I see there ? BIG JIM and Steve the midget - hanging around the ticket machine shooting the breeze - I went up to the counter to check things out and the gal who knows me said "Hey you were looking for 100X tickets - my boss just found a roll in the safe along with other tickets - do you want it ? She didn't know how long the roll was there - I talked it over with BIG JIM and Steve - wanna go threes and buy the roll ? This could be the payday we're looking for ! We agreed and bought the roll - we were excited that here was a roll of 100 X maybe just maybe it had the big one - we sat down on the bench in the hallway and let BIG JIM do the scratching ....... well nothing really happened - two $100 and the rest a mix of $40, $30 and $25's .......... for a total back of 410 ......... WHAT ? Steve was bitchin' that he shouldn't have bought in - BIG JIM laffed .......... we all felt kinda stupid when cashing the tickets in at the counter when the gal said "Boy you sure did lousy" .........

Sorry to hear.  I was waiting for another "story" of $500 wins and $1000 wins...mhmmm...

So, what does a roll cost?

Haha....you mean like me.  I took the entire $730 bruising on my own.  I should have known better too.  The roll was one of the older ones (887,901) and I still went for it.  Lesson learned.

How do you know the roll was an older one? What serial numbers should I be looking for to show it's one of the last rolls released in the past 2 weeks?
