No duping, no exploitation, simply a choice as to wether or not to post a winning system.

The reference to the supposed rant link was only supplied in repsonse to a request to do so.

The lottery has the power to request changes to the law via the legislature.

A post without an agenda? *L* How about those posts to discedit, embarrass, shame...etc (no agenda there). *L*

You are a slave to the choices you have made.  jk

It's very simple, you don't like the rules of the game, don't play.

Stack47 made a great point in the link thread. He said,

" It's almost the same argument of wanting to cash tickets anonymously in states with open record policies and demanding those policies be changed because of policies in other states."

      I am extremely disappointed.

      We were duped and exploited.

The goal here now is clear. He started this thread to take us back to his rant about pari-mutuel payouts.

Take it up with the legislature. The lottery has no power to make any changes in this regard.

And to think, he has the unmitigated gall to suggest someone else has an agenda Skeptical

I Agree! ulterior motives makes since now.

        Hi,

I got a bit of a shock last week. I posted a thread on the LP and within minutes I recieved a reply from a lottery official. It confirmed my long suspicion that the lotteries are paying attention to what is posted on the LP.

That would bring a question as to wether or not you would want to post a winning system on the LP (assuming you had/have one). Asuming a winning system is posted, it would be a key for the lotteries to change up what they are doing (pre-draws....etc), so that a system is no longer a winning one.

It has been aa long ongoing discussion at the LP why people don't/won't post thier systems or secrets. Maybe, they are playing smart by not posting thier winning systems and secrets.

        JKING,

First of all, your poll question gives no option for those of us who don't believe a winning "system" exists for games like Pick3-7, PB, MM, etc.  Furthermore, the only recent posts of yours that I can find that might have prompted a response from a lottery official were your multiple criticisms of the CA Lottery, which they may not have agreed with.  None of your posts in the past few weeks put forward anything that even smells like a "system."

I could truthfully claim I received a response from a lottery official myself, but it was in response to my request for information on the licensing of a ticket outlet.  This is a far cry from an admonition not to post a winning "system," which is what some here have concluded since you hinted at that and conveniently refused to reveal its contents. Your attempt to give the impression the lottery is afraid of [a/your?] winning system is disingenuous, AT BEST!

My conjecture is that IF in fact you actually did get a response from a CA official challenging your critique of their parimutuel rules, it probably read something like this...

Nice post Jammy. You KY and Boney would all make fine lottery officials, being so disconnected from actual play and all.

Am I reading this correctly? Are you seriously considering selling lottery tickets? If you are, I would advise you not to work the terminals. You would talk every gambler out of playing.

Can you see Jimmy tearing off a scratcher for a customer and explaining the astronomical odds and why he/she shouldn't play?

Jimmy: "Ma'am unless you're looking for an excuse to get a manicure, don't waste your hard earned cash" - lol!

What have I ever said in these forums that would give you that impression?

"Jimmy: "Ma'am unless you're looking for an excuse to get a manicure, don't waste your hard earned cash" - lol!"

If you dig a little, you will learn that what I have been "preaching" is that you should buy MORE TICKETS with the money you are wasting on Lottery Software and Books.

There's a difference.  Think about it.

                      Original Bey,

"You have been a fount of wisdom..."

                      Your words, not mine!

"...positive energy and encouragement to lottery players throughout the land..."

If you buy more tickets and win as a result of my "encouragement" to do so, I'll accept the credit!

"You have helped us to wade through the multitude of illusions,,,"

In your case, it looks like I have failed at that.

                      "...and find hope."

I believe people who buy QuickPicks and go about their lives are happier and have more "hope" than those who struggle to TRY to win, because they feel DEFEATED when they lose.

"These unwavering efforts will shape your legacy here on LP and beyond."

If you believe that, so be it!

Personally I moniter this board every now and then but I would never post my current strategy or system.  There is a reason the guys in Vegas (or any casino for that matter) invest millions in security cameras.  This discussion board and others similar are just like the cameras - they give lottery workers/officials an insight into "the street".

They have to protect thier interest too!  Do you think they would just sit back and let the streets beat them out of money day after day?  If you do your not as smart as you think you are.  Its great to share but I think in the bigger scheme you're hurting yourself in the end.
