      JKING,

First of all, your poll question gives no option for those of us who don't believe a winning "system" exists for games like Pick3-7, PB, MM, etc.  Furthermore, the only recent posts of yours that I can find that might have prompted a response from a lottery official were your multiple criticisms of the CA Lottery, which they may not have agreed with.  None of your posts in the past few weeks put forward anything that even smells like a "system."

I could truthfully claim I received a response from a lottery official myself, but it was in response to my request for information on the licensing of a ticket outlet.  This is a far cry from an admonition not to post a winning "system," which is what some here have concluded since you hinted at that and conveniently refused to reveal its contents. Your attempt to give the impression the lottery is afraid of [a/your?] winning system is disingenuous, AT BEST!

My conjecture is that IF in fact you actually did get a response from a CA official challenging your critique of their parimutuel rules, it probably read something like this...

That's great detective work; Barney Fife would really be proud of you!!!

"I posted a thread on the LP and within minutes I recieved a reply from a lottery official. It confirmed my long suspicion that the lotteries are paying attention to what is posted on the LP."

It doesn't matter why JKING got a reply, but because he did, he asked "should a winning system be posted".

"First of all, your poll question gives no option for those of us who don't believe a winning "system" exists for games like Pick3-7, PB, MM, etc."

Why should there be more than two options to answer a simple "YES" or "NO" question?

What if JKING had said "I posted a thread on the LP and within minutes I received a reply from the IRS. It confirmed my long suspicion that the IRS is paying attention to what is posted on the LP" and started a poll asking "Should we post our lottery winnings on LP"?

Would you ask for more options because you have no lottery winnings?

Personally I moniter this board every now and then but I would never post my current strategy or system.  There is a reason the guys in Vegas (or any casino for that matter) invest millions in security cameras.  This discussion board and others similar are just like the cameras - they give lottery workers/officials an insight into "the street".

They have to protect thier interest too!  Do you think they would just sit back and let the streets beat them out of money day after day?  If you do your not as smart as you think you are.  Its great to share but I think in the bigger scheme you're hurting yourself in the end.

        Lurking

why would they? all Lottery officials claim that the Lottery is random so there for why would they need to be on here or anywhere else looking for any insight?

as for winning systems or programs the Internet is Full of them so i guess they would need to buy all of them to right.Drum

LMAO - so if you really believe that why are you on here?  Really?  If you believe that the numbers are RANDOM then you must be pretty lucky and you are obviously not fool enough to believe that you can hit 1:250 or 1:1000 or 1:10000 with consistency.

I won't say what games i play because I know they can track IP but I will say that if youre hitting 3 - 4 times a week on the numbers - that is not random my friend.  Jack-in-the-Box  ((( so you believe everything the lottery officials say))))))))

I guess the real poll question should be,

Should a system be be posted for PB and MM games.

I guess if you win PB, and only get 800,000, then some players might be pissed, while other are ecstaticc.

                Perhaps you cant please everyone.

Besides, even a system player has to get lucky.

And sometimes its not all about systems.

Sometimes its just being an intelligent player.

Anyway good luck to California! Welcome to PowerBall. (although I dont really play it)

                  Stack47,

"Why should there be more than two options to answer a simple "YES" or "NO" question?"

Why?  Because the poll question is what is commonly referred to as a "Loaded question."  A 3rd option such as, "Neither," would have at least provided an opportunity to see a more meaningful breakdown of the total audience on the question.

Would an innocuous "reply from a lottery official" prompt YOU to initiate a Poll Thread about WINNING lottery systems?

                    Hi,

Look at the poll this way...Are you putting your system at risk when you post on the LP? If so, are you willing to take that risk?

After initially posting this poll, I noticed a thread from WinD. His system got totally jacked.

For those of you who think I have an agenda, I do. Be careful what you post on the LP. If you don't care that there is a possibility that your hard work can either nullified or stolen, then by all means, vote to post your winning system.

You are a slave to the choices you have made.  jk

Hmmm a fool to believe the possibility that the lottery officials are watching.   To that I would say again anyone who excludes this possibility is the fool.  I base my belief on what I see happening and based on my system (I only have 1) it proves that the numbers are not random and that the lottery folks can and do change their methods from time to time.  Call me crazy but I'll take that knowing that my odds of winning are better than most.Agree with stupid

I'd rather err on the side of caution...
