$1 Fast Cash, the $2 I love NY, $3 UNO and $5 Extra Play (and think that is the first game in NYL history to my knowledge to have back scratch)

Thanks yp. The games are now posted on the NYL website. The $5.00 ticket looked interesting at first but then I saw the odds.

Think I'll stick with the $10.00 Frenzy.

                u didn't see the $1 it horrendous

like the new $5 only because of the decent amount of $500 prizes but same thing w cash x60 and the recent $5s, better odds but no $100 and no $50 ($80 and $40 instead) and they increase the odds to get more break evens and $8 so people think they win something

Yup - 1:5.03 for the new $1.00 ticket. Just awful.

I'll try the new $5.00 ticket, never know! But these new tickets with 'break evens' are just horrible and you're right - people think they're actually winning something if they win $8.00 on a $5.00 ticket.

Sure you're winning three bucks but when the top prize is a million bucks...what's the point?

only if u take the annuity, lump sum is around $800,000 (still better than IL that uses 60% of the annuity value for lump sums - do not want to know what they are investing their money in)

but still what is it w NY and those $8 and $80s (all the $2 games seem to have $8 prizes, uno has an $80 prize i think, golden ticket w an $80 prize, playbook as well)

the $1 is a total money waster - just want to play $10 worth to prove they suck haha

Snagged a $50 on the new Uno ticket, the new $1 tickets are really bad, 5 in a row were duds.

Someone at the NYS Lottery must have 8 children or has been married 8 times or eats 8 times a day. How else to explain the fascination with the number 8? LOL

Dollar tickets are such a waste. I know a guy who buys them by the book and rarely breaks even. He did get lucky last year with a ticket that had a top prize of $1,500 (I forget which ticket it was), but that was nowhere near what he's accumulated in losses over the years.

8 is a very lucky number in chinese culture but let's not go there

and the only dollar tickets i would ever even consider buying a book of is loose change and take 5 (the latter only during promos so can rack up the FPs)

I think I'll buy 8 of the new $5.00 tickets, let's see what happens. Sorry about the $62.00 loss, that's tough.

I haven't bought a dollar ticket in years, don't see the point in spending a dollar to maybe win a dollar or two. But it seems to be the most popular scratch off in town.

Would love to see a list of the most popular instant games sold in NY, would be very interesting to see how the dollar tickets match up sales wise to the more expensive scratch off tickets.
