I suppose your right bigbear29, There are no do over in Life and i don't believe in second chances. No Nod

A do over in winning the lottery is taking the thirty-year plan. If you are young enough and you do not care that the interest rates today are very low and that affects the size of your payments.

You could mess up in the first year and second year and then get back on track for the following years.

Some past winners like Cynthia Stafford would still be getting payments. This option takes personal discipline and time.

If you win and you are between 18 and 30 then you should ask professionals about your choices.

The word is you're or you are. Dozens of posts a day and you still do not know basic grammar.

Excuse me for being a fallible human being.

I made another mistake when I typed in "hundreds" when i meant "hundreds of millions".

Thank You for looking out for me. I do use Grammarly. Do you know of it?

Music, Just wanted to chime in that the program you mentioned has been used in my daily tasks. It is a wonderful program!

On topic here- Some of us realize that the federal tax WILL go UP so taking the cash is the wiser way to garner solid stability in finance.

A bird in the hand concept holds true....

Will give Cynthia credit for not going via way of bailing out criminals.....

              Very enlightening tweet from Cynthia:

“If we lose all of our wealth and are only left with love then, indeed, we shall never be poor.”

I thinks I think she realized bu that point that she was in dire straits financially so channeling her positive thoughts towards family and loved ones were the best thing for her to pull through mentally and stay strong.

I'm always conflicted with this one, they're the only winner I ever remember from that TV show...

It's a shame that the kids she helped raise (I can't remember if they were her nieces and nephews?) didn't get some sort of college fund setup for them while she had all the money......

Also that personal trainer....... he sure liked his gifts......

I am quite surprised about Cynthia's situation. I would have thought that she would have put her winnings into Preferred Stocks that would have provided her with a steady source of income. But when I saw her and the Ex-Boyfriend on TLCML, I was fearing that she would go broke. It's strange that the Lottery winners who actually grow their wealth are the ones who shun the cameras...

I could see what a Happy person Cynthia was before winning and during the time she spent it. I believe that she is just as happy now as then. Her positive and loving attitude will get her through life wonderfully.

I think after winning a jackpot, than to lose it, I would not be a happy person.  I believe she lost her house, the cars and all of the toys, I would not be happy because I would be thinking about it everyday, I HAD IT ALL!

She did what she thought were good deeds. Maybe she was too generous to a fault.

She took responsibility seriously when it came to family. Maybe she just did not have time to consider alternatives. It was not my money so I am just giving you my two cents worth of opinions.
