Update to Formatting of GA Lottery Detailed Odds Pages + A Request for GA Scratcher Players

I've updated the formatting of each of the denomination pages of instant games that I've got detailed odds for on my Lotto Hideout.  Each winning combination is listed on a separate line for (hopefully) easier reading.  You may also notice that some winning combinations are in parentheses "( )".  These combinations are ones I thought could be possible, based on the prizes, number of times you can win on a ticket, and special symbols for that game.  These combinations may or may not exist and are not confirmed.

That's where I ask a favor of the GA scratcher players on LP...

I just uploaded a page to my web space here.  It's nothing pretty...it's a misc. sheet I had in my master Excel file which I use to make those denominations, odds comparisons, and overall odds/top prizes pages on my Lotto Hideout.  This page contains "multiple win" and "special symbol" combinations that I've seen or been told about on various instant games that I don't have detailed odds for (yet).  If I'm missing anything or if you can confirm a winning combination in parentheses in my existing games with detailed odds or on that "combos" page, could you comment on this blog post or send me a private message?

I asked the GA Lottery if they had this kind of information available when I called asking about detailed odds and they told me, both over the phone and via snail mail with my 1st batch of detailed odds, that special symbols and prize amounts are distributed randomly and they don't keep information of winning combinations on hand.  I've even done some research (see the $3 Big Bucks on that combos page for the games without detailed odds -- I looked up the GA Lottery's press release when they released that game and they mentioned the prize levels....I did the math with the BIG symbol for 12 times the prize and saw, from buying tickets myself and looking at losing prize amounts, that you can't hit single number matches for most of those prizes, rather they must be won via multiple number matches or a BIG symbol (or a combination of the two)).

I thank you so much in advance for any help you could possibly give me with this information.  This is something I've always been curious about (way before joining LP....and way before my "adventure" of sorts in getting detailed odds on any of the games in the first place) and would like to compile and post, since the GA Lottery seems to be unwilling to post this info on their site (and not having the winning combo info).

Until next time, may you win tons of loot and may it be a very sweet combination of wins involving lots of wins and special symbols for a big prize. Smile

Well, today wasn't too bad...

It started with a $10 winner on a $5 ticket.  I then decided to go to the new $2 tickets, Lucky Times 5.  I bought 2 and hit nothing.  The 3rd one...

...was that nice monster.

Today was a quickie slow playing day compared to others.  My mom didn't find anything at Goodwill, so she called me and told me to come on so we could eat lunch.  I bought a few $2 Fruit Twist tickets before I left.  I hit a $10 winner on the 3rd ticket.  The 4th ticket...

...was also a very nice winner. Big Grin

I also hit a $25 winner on another $2 ticket while I was slow playing.  I'll recap that one in next Friday's KACHING Report.

Until next time, may you hit a ton of goodies on your tickets. Smile

I finally got the video up and running.  It's chock full o' winners this time!

I would type more about it, but I've gotta get up at 7 in the morning and be at a store meeting at 9....then I have to get some uniforms washed and go to work later that day......for day #5 of 8 in a row.

Until next time, may your tickets be chock full o' winners! Smile

Does anyone remember the game show version of Monopoly?

It aired back in 1990, paired up with Super Jeopardy, on ABC.  The show was created by the late Merv Griffin (and based on the famous board game).  The theme had some nice lyrics to it, but the game play wasn't the best in the world....because, IMO, they tried to squeeze an hour show into 30 minutes.  Things were too rushed.

Part of the lyrics to the theme song included "Roll the dice!  It's paradise!  But if you fail.....you go to jail!"

Well....I rolled the dice...

...and it was paradise! Big Grin (well, kinda)

Until next time, may you roll the dice and get a Boardwalk full of winnings! Smile

Same Game -- Still A Good Result -- The Sequel

...I'm still hot on these tickets.  I think I recognize this type of winner....didn't I have one just like this before? Big Grin

Here's the thing.....I got called into work today just as I was going to go to a store to get some tickets to do a video for.  I was going to do some $2 Loteria and 2 of those $500,000 Riches $5 tickets.  I wound up having to scratch them, get dressed, and go to work (they really needed me tonight.....they were in a jam).  I hit that nice monster on one of the $5 $500,000 Riches tickets.  I also hit a nice winner on one of the $2 Loteria tickets that I'll recap in Friday's KACHING Report.

(Had I done videos for these.....those of you who watch my YouTube lottery videos would have heard a sound effect that I've yet to use.....a special sound effect reserved for win all symbols, multipliers of 10 times or better, or winners of $30 or greater.)

Until next time, may you win lots of loot and may your win all symbols win you lots of nice prizes! Smile

Update:  Just an FYI....this came from a different store.  This winner didn't come from the tobacco mart that I've been getting my previous big wins on these tickets from.  Also, the odds of hitting a $50 winner on the $5 $500,000 Riches is the same as hitting a $32 winner....1 in 100.

Same Game -- Still A Good Result

It wasn't as big, but...

...it still was a nice win anyway. Big Grin

Oh yeah....this was the same roll as the one where I hit the $500 winner.  This one just came 10 tickets later.  The only reason I bought more of these knowing it was the same roll is this...

I forgot to mention a story about Sunday's tickets (not the same store where I hit the $100 winner on a $5 Sterling Silver, but another one).  A lady (one of the cashiers) told me that someone came in one day, bought a $5 Giant Jumbo Bucks, and hit a $500 winner.  He came back, bought another one.....and she couldn't believe what she saw......it was a SECOND $500 winner.....it was TWO $500 winners back-to-back.  She told me that if someone else had told her that and she didn't see it, she would have never believed it.  I told her that I wouldn't have believed it either had I not seen it myself.  That's why I bought some more of those $500,000 Riches tickets knowing it was the same roll.

Until next time, may you hit lots of number matches for lots of loot! Smile

Free ticket on $10 Super Lucky 7s

A little story about Thursday....I had just cashed in $650 worth of winners and decided to do a mini-slow playing session at the Kroger.  A guy had bought a Super Lucky 7s.....out of the roll I was going to get one from, but the guy beat me back to the vending machine.  You wouldn't believe what I came so close to winning but the other guy hit........a $150 winner.  I came soooooo close to extending my hot streak of $30+ winners.

I'm temporarily bringing back the KACHING Meter for this KACHING Report.

The KACHING Meter for June 19, 2009:  T-I-L-T Big Grin

I did make a small update to the looks and layout of my lotto hideout.  I decided to add some color to the main page and the GA detailed instant game odds pages.

Until next time, may you win lots of loot and may you shatter your old records for wins on lottery tickets. Smile

I'm still hot + A HUGE Update To the GA Lottery Detailed Instant Game Odds Pages

About the "I'm still hot"...

....enough said. Big Grin

Now about the HUGE update to the GA Lottery Detailed Instant Game Odds pages on my lotto hideout...

I've just made a HUGE update to those pages.  Last night, I received the detailed odds for TWENTY of the most recent GA Lottery instant games.  Each and every page (including the top prizes page) has been updated.  This was a really nice update....and well timed too (after hitting the above winner as well yesterday). Big Grin

Until next time, may much more good luck, fortune, and other good things drop right into your lap. Smile

Small update:  The odds of hitting a $50 winner on the $2 Aladdin's Lamp, according to the newly updated odds pages, is 1 in 320.

Small update to my GA Lottery Detailed Instant Game Odds Pages + another little thing

Ya know....perhaps, as JAP69 said in a comment to my last blog post, my gold membership here at LP is bringing me good luck.  With that......I just renewed my gold membership for 6 more months.

I've also updated my GA Lottery Detailed Instant Game Odds pages on my Lotto Hideout.  I've added known winning combinatons to each of the prizes for the games that I have detailed odds on.  If you know of a winning combination (e.g. 10 numbers for $50 each for a $500 winner -- or, as I put it, 10 x $50) that I didn't list, I invite you to let me know via a private message here on LP and I'll add it.  The ones I have listed are either ones I've hit myself, seen posted somewhere (e.g. on a counter in a store where they like to show off big winners), or seen someone talk about (or someone told me themselves).

I'll hopefully have an update tomorrow with an updated top prizes list and new games and their overall odds (if any).  I can't make any promises, though.

Until next time, may you hit nothing but monsters on your tickets! Smile

Update:  I just discovered that I forgot to link the "Back to Detailed Odds Home" back to the main page on the updated denomination pages with the winning combos.  I'll fix it in my next update (if I don't forget).
