Well folks...

I've finally moved into my double-wide trailer!  It took a while, but I'm finally in this thing with some stuff moved in.  It was insane and had to do without a lot (and currently without A/C in this heat.....thank goodness for a couple of fans, a bunch of ceiling fans set to high, and keeping lights turned on to a minimum).

I promise you that, once I get my room all set up and get a new desk and all that, I'll have pictures of the new place.

Oh yeah......when I get everything set up, I've got to update you on my KACHING Reports.....including a RECORD-BREAKING KACHING Report (complete with some pictures) that broke even my old blog's record.

Well....time to check some other stuff and get updated on stuff again.  2 weeks worth of emails is a lot to go through. Razz

Until next time....may all your scratchers be nothing but big winners. Big Grin

The KACHING Report -- 5/9/08 + Move Update

This will be my last KACHING Report for at least 1 to 2 weeks.  I'm still packing up my stuff and getting ready to upgrade my living quarters.  This trailer that I'm in right now as I type this will be moved out of the way this coming up Thursday.  The the new double-wide trailer should in place by the following Tuesday or Wednesday.  I'm gonna miss this old place.  I moved here in July 2000....this trailer, while small, has done its job for the almost 8 years that I've been here.

This week's KACHING Meter:  6.5

Tuesday:  See last blog post.

Wednesday:  Cashed it in and bought some of the new tickets in GA.....$3 $75,000 Cashword and $1 Double Your Luck.  Won a free ticket on a Cashword and hit $5 worth of winners on 3 of the $1 tickets.....free ticket, $2 # match, and a Luck symbol to double $1.  I later cashed in those tickets and used them along with a few spare dollar bills and bought me a $5 Giant Jumbo Bucks, a couple of $2 Jumbo Bucks, a $2 $50,000 Bling, and a $1 Junior Jumbo Bucks.  Won a free ticket on each and every single one of them.

Today:  Bought myself a $10 Millionaire Mania.  Hit 4 cash symbols for $5 each.

So, Tuesday's $25 (2.5), Wednesday's $8 and $12 (0.8 and 1.2), and Friday's $20 (2.0) is how I get the $65 or 6.5 on the KACHING Meter this week.

In the event I do get a decent amount of winners next week or two and I'm not able to post them, I'll include them in my next KACHING Report.  Can't guarantee pictures of big wins, though, as if I need the money quickly for some reason, I'll have to cash 'em in.

Oh yeah......my mother bought a $5 Green and Gold today.  She hit the gold bar "win all" symbol....all 15 prizes were $2 for a total of $30.  She pulled off the kind of winner I hit twice (the 3rd of the 3 $30 winners I hit was # matches totalling $30).  Lucky dingbat. Big Grin

Until next time....may all your scratchers be winners and have multipliers or win all symbols.  Smile

Movin' on out!! (with a nice winner to boot)

I just received good news today.  In approximately a week (yes, a week, believe it or not), I'm going to go from living in an old single-wide trailer to a nice double-wide trailer.  I've gotta start packing some stuff tonight.

I went to take a look at the trailer.  It's about 300 sq. ft. bigger than this early-1970s junk that I live in now and has been through some stuff, including a small electrical fire that didn't badly damage anything....just made lots of stuff smell smokey.

So, I might not be posting KACHINGs too often for a little while even if I do hit $30+ in winners.  I'll take not being able to be online too often for a bit to upgrade my living quarters. Big Grin

I do have some good news, though.......I bought me a $3 Mighty Mega Bucks today, and......

.....BAM!  Mega $5 for $25.  Wowzers.  Talk about good news on a good day. Big Grin

Well.....until next time, may all your scratchers be winners and contain multipliers and win all symbols. Wink

(and I've got some music in my head about this move........the theme to The Jeffersons LOL )

The KACHING Report -- 5/2/08

Note:  Starting next week.....I'll only post KACHING Reports if I have more than $30 in winners in a given week.

This week's KACHING Meter reading:  2.5

Last Saturday:  Bought a $10 Millionaire Mania, 2 $2 Jumbo Bucks, and a $1 League Night.  I wound up hitting $15 on the Millionaire Mania (1 x $15), a free ticket on one $2 Jumbo, and a free ticket on the $1 League Night. -- $18 or 1.8 on KACHING

Tuesday:  Cashed in those winners and decided to let it ride.  Wound up not being a good thing.  I bought 2 $5 Sterling Silver and 5 $1 Monopoly.  Hit a free ticket on one of the $5 tickets and hit a $2 winner on one of the Monopoly tickets (2 x $1).  That $7 eventually became nothing on Friday. --  $7 or 0.7 on KACHING

So, that's where the 2.5 comes from.  *shrugs shoulders*  Oh well....we all can't have good weeks all the time.

Until next time, may all your scratchers be winners, contain big wins, win all symbols, and multipliers. Big Grin

The KACHING Report - 4/25/08

The KACHING Meter reading for the week: 14.9

Saturday night:  See last blog post.

On Sunday, I cashed in that $75 winner from last Saturday night.  Decided to keep a huge chunk of that money ($60 to be exact) and used the rest to buy me another $5 Green and Gold and a $10 Millionaire Mania (which was a dud)......and the Green and Gold wound up being my 3rd $30 winner.....and the 2nd via a gold bar symbol for all 15 prizes with all being $2 each.  I kept some more  dough and bought some more $2 Jumbo Bucks and wound up hitting $10 (10 x $1) and a free ticket.  I also wound up with $2 on a $1 Blackjack Attack ticket (2 x $1).

Thursday....decided to cash in those winners.  Wound up with a free ticket on a $5 Green and Gold.  Used that to get a couple of $2 Jumbos and a $1 ticket and wound up breaking even with a $5 number match on one of the Jumbo Bucks.  I went to another store, bought 2 more $2 Jumbos and a $1 ticket and went down to $3 on a $2 Jumbo (3 x $1).

Today.....decided to take a couple of spare bucks, after making a trip to make a small little deposit somewhere (Wink ), and get myself a $5 Giant Jumbo Bucks.  Hit a breakeven $5 winner (3 x $1 + $2), so I decided to go back in and get a $5 Green and Gold and wound up with nothing.  Oh well....

So.....Saturday's $87 (8.7) + Sunday's $44 (4.4) + Thursday's $13 (1.3) + Today's $5 (0.5) = 14.9 on the KACHING Meter.  (Remember, for those who are new to my KACHING Meter posts.....this is NOT profit....just total in winners.)

I don't know what's been with the LP site today.....every time I've tried to visit from this morning to now, about 95% of the pages would load up at a snail's pace while other sites would load up quickly.  Must be a server or datacenter issue or something.

Until next time, may all your lotto scratchers be winners, contain nothing but number matches if it's that type of game, win all symbols, and multipliers. Big Grin

A good Saturday night...

I decided to go out a few hours ago.  I went down to Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA to see some Saturday night dirt track racing.  One of the reasons I went was because a good friend of mine was racing down there.

Our fortunes were the direct opposite of each other.  My friend blew an engine and wound up not finishing after he was doing so well early on.  Disapprove

After the racing was over, I left and, when I got near home, went by a gas station to cash in that second $30 winner from yesterday (which I posted in my last blog post).

My friend got a measly $20 for his misfortune.  I wound up with this.....

I kept $15 of that $30 and decided to buy myself 7 of these $2 Jumbos and a $1 ticket.  Didn't win anything on the $1 ticket, but 4 of the 7 Jumbos were winners......and I wound up hitting another $75 winner....same exact method as the last one.  Since the GA Lottery doesn't post winning combos for prizes like some states do (e.g. South Carolina), I have to wonder if all the $75 winners on the $2 Jumbos are Jumbo $10 + number match for $25.

The last time I had a hot streak anything close to this was back in February when I hit 2 $100 winners and a $70 winner.

Wowzers.

Well....it's late here, and I'm pretty tired from all the racing action.  Good night folks.  May your scratchers be nothing but winners and have nothing but number matches (if it's one of those type games), multipliers, and win all symbols. Wink

The KACHING Report - 4/18/08

I might do something here that I used to do a long time ago on another blog that I used to have.  Every week....up until about a year ago, when I only did these for winners totalling $20 or more unless there was an ususual winner or something, I would post about my winners from my lotto runs and any other ticket purchases from the past week.  I'll probably do this when I hit $20 or more in winning tickets (NOT profit....only from adding up the total of the winning tickets) during the week.

Introduction and history before I begin:

The KACHING "meter" is something I came up with to describe the total of my winning lottery tickets in an old blog of mine which no longer exists.  Each dollar in winners would be represented by a 0.01 on the "KACHING meter".  For example, if I hit $192 in winning tickets (NOT profit...just winning tickets), that would be a 1.92 on the "KACHING meter".  It became somewhat popular with blogging friends of mine and kinda caught on with others doing the "KACHING Report" stuff like I did.

However, being that huge winners ($100 and up) are rare for me, as whenever I hit a big winner, it's usually $20-$50, I've decided to do a format change.  Each dollar in winnings now represents 0.1 on the "KACHING meter".  For example, $9 in winners would be a 0.9, $35 would be a 3.5, and $175 would be a 17.5.

Now to the stuff:

On Tuesday, the Georgia Lottery came out with two new instant games, $2 "$50,000 Bling" and $5 "Green and Gold."  I decided to try some of these tickets out.  I had $7 in winners from last week and some spare dough in my pocket, so I decided to try out some of each.   On one of the $50,000 Bling tickets, I wound up hitting 9 number matches for $3.  On the very next Bling ticket, I hit a Bling symbol for triple a $1 prize.  Didn't win anything on the Green and Gold.  Not bad getting $30 in winners....and consecutive tickets at that.

Now we come to today.  I decide to go to the store and get me some more Green and Gold tickets.  Boy am I glad I did.  First one......FIFTEEN number matches for $1 each.  Next one....two number matches for $5 each and a green number match for double a $10 prize.  Final one....a free ticket.  $50 more in winners.

Later on, I decide to cash 'em in and use that free ticket to get me another Green and Gold from another store on the way back from doing some shopping out of town.  I wind up hitting 2 number matches for $1 and $3 and a green number match for double a $3 prize.

On the way back near home to do some grocery shopping around here, I decided to stop at another store around here after shopping at one grocery store (of 3 that I normally go to, which are very close to each other.....each store has different things I grab at different prices....I buy whatever I need at the store that's got it cheaper).  I told myself "What the hell....let's let it ride."  I cashed in that $10 winner and decided to get two more Green and Gold tickets.  Didn't win on the first one, but on the second one....

....hit my second $30 winner today (haven't cashed it in yet, of course).  This time, as you can see, via the gold bar "win all" symbol.  I love winners like this.  They look so sweet.

So....let's see.....from Tuesday, $27 + $3, and from today, $15 + $30 + Free Ticket (counts as value of the ticket, in this case, $5) + $10 + $30.  $30 + $90 = $120 for the week.  Remember, this is total winners, not profit.

This week's KACHING meter is a 12.0 -- 3.0 on Tuesday and 9.0 today.  [cue up cash register sound]

I've had a pretty good day today. Big Grin

Do remember.....I don't always have lucky streaks or weeks like this.  Some weeks I may only have $20-$25.....and sometimes less.  In those cases where I don't get more than $20 worth of winners in a week, I usually won't bother posting.

Be cool folks.  May your scratchers be nothing but winners, have nothing but number matches, multipliers, or win all symbols. Wink

Some of my big winners over time... (sorry for the massive pics -- tried to shrink file size)

2005:

$100 winner in April 2005 on a Junior Jumbo Bucks and a free ticket on a $2 Jumbo Bucks Classic with $3 in spare quarters I had.  The day I hit this winner, I kept $70 and bought 3 $10 tickets and wound up hitting $20-$50-$20 on those.  I kept $60 of that $90 and bought 15 $2 Jumbo Bucks Classic tickets and wound up only winning $3 and a free ticket.

I had a lot of good luck on these Money Bags tickets.  I was constantly hitting double-digit ($12 and $24) and single-digit winners (free tickets to $6 or $9).  3 times I hit the money bag symbol for $36.  This was my biggest one, though.

2006:

I used to have pretty good luck on these.  It seemed like I would hit $15 and $25 winners (via JACKPOT $3 and $5 respectively) quite often.  I hit this monster in the process.  My mother bought one of these on the Friday before I left town for 3 days to see The Price Is Right in LA before Bob Barker retired (this was March 2007) and hit 10 # matches for $10 each (for a $100 winner).

2007:

I think Millionaire Super 7s was the 1st game that the GA Lottery retired while I was on a hot streak.  I was constantly hitting $15 and $20 winners on these shortly before they retired them.

That 24 Karat Gold $48 winner was the 2nd one I hit on those.  Other than that and a $24 winner, not much luck on those.

When these first came out, I had a nice lil' streak going.  Managed this biggie in the process.

I loved the Fat Cat and Lucky Dog tickets when they first came out.  I was hitting winners left and right on them.  One time, there was a huge streak of winners that my mother and I both ran into.  There were 8 winners of the 10 tickets we bought, and the winners totalled upwards of $70 or $80 IIRC.

Hit these goodies when I was out shopping last year.

2008 (in order):

January

I finally hit a big winner on the $2 Jumbo Bucks Classic.  Most I had won on the $2 Jumbos prior to this was $25.  One week after I hit this winner, my mother bought one and hit JUMBO $20.

February

I hit my 1st $100 winner since 2005 when the $10 Cash Explosion tickets came out.  I'll take a single number match for $100 anytime, but it looks so sweet when you get special symbols to win the big prizes rather than a single number match.

Hoooooooooooooooooooollllllly cow.  Enough said.

What....the?  I think I sat down and got a horseshoe stuck up somewhere I won't mention in February.

March

Ran across these on my last day of college (I'll be getting my accounting diploma in a couple of months, but I'm officially done with college).  Nice graduation present. Big Grin
