An interesting find today...

....and no, it wasn't a big winner.  In fact, today's slow playing was a complete and utter disaster.  I'll recap on next week's KACHING Report.

While I was slow playing, my mom was inside the Goodwill store doing her usual shopping.  After it was time to go, I went to her car and pulled out her scratcher tickets that she asked me to get her.  She told me to look in the bag in the back seat.  I reached in and pulled out a small box.  I looked at the front and it read this (with picture).......

"Battery Operated Lottery Selector"

I was like "Huh?" and looked at the picture again.........it's a miniature battery-powered ball machine with teeny tiny little numbered plastic balls 1-60.  On it, there's 2 buttons....."Mix" and "Select" -- when you put in a battery (which I had to get earlier.....didn't have any C batteries and it requires 1) and hold down the mix button, the drum of balls (which you can load and unload with a little tray thingamajig which serves as the place where the drawn numbers come out and as a spout for pouring the balls back into the plastic drum) will spin and mix up the balls like a bingo cage.  When you hold down the "Select" button, it will spin in the opposite direction and balls will end up in the little chute inside the drum and roll out onto the little tray/spout like a standard lottery machine you'd find in a televised drawing.  I've gotta get a picture and post it sometime.  It was a very interesting find.  I've had a lot of fun playing around with it tonight.

Heck.......I might do a blog challenge here on LP with a unique 5/60 game with 12 numbers drawn and the fewer numbers (as few as the 1st 5 drawn numbers) it takes for you to match all 5 of your numbers, the bigger the "cyber"-prize (no real money or anything.....kinda like Maddog's challenges).

My luck on scratchers might have went down the crapper......but I wound up with a very interesting little item in the process. Smile

Until next time, may you have better luck than I did today and may you find interesting goodies (whether or not they're lottery-related). Big Grin

Not exactly a good week......but we can't have winning weeks all the time, can we? Wink

Hopefully I'll get to slow play tomorrow......providing nobody gets too bad sick or anything like that. *knocks on wood*

Until next time, may you have a much better week in terms of profits and hits. Smile

The January KACHING video + No slow playing today unfortunately...

I didn't get to slow play today because my mom, who I go with down to the shopping center where the tobacco mart is located along with the Goodwill, was very sick this morning.  Ugh.  I did buy some tickets today and I posted the winners on the KACHING video (since today is the last day in January).  I'll also talk about them in next week's KACHING Report.

Speaking of the KACHING video.....it's up on YouTube!  Enjoy!

Until next time, may your fantastic 5s or whatever other lucky number(s) you have win you some extreme green! Smile

1Bought just as I was leaving.

Wowzers.....what a week.......hit that $50 winner 1st ticket right off the bat.....hit that $28 winner on Sunday.....hit that $35 winner on Wednesday......it was a great week, despite the Monday and Tuesday losses.

Tomorrow, I do plan on slow playing.....and I hope the tobacco mart has the new $10 Extreme Green tickets.  I've read about one $2,000 winner and a $150 winner here on LP.....might be a good sign the tickets are good......who knows.

Until next time, may you hit some tickets for some extreme green. Smile

From the Fantastic Four to the Fantastic Five...

We've got Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, Thing, and now......

.......Lady Luck. Big Grin

I had a $10 winner from yesterday (which I'll post on my KACHING Report on Friday) and a $5 bill in my wallet.  I was originally going to buy 3 $5 Diamonds & Gold.....until I saw the new $2 Fantastic 5s ticket....and I always like to try out the new tickets (I'll have to wait until my slow playing Saturday to try the new $10 Extreme Green tickets).  I decided to get 7 of the Fantastic 5s and a $1 5X The Money.  I'll talk about the other winners Friday, but I hit that nice $35 winner on the 5th ticket of the bunch. Smile

Until next time, may you hit some fantastic lucky numbers and win some dough. Wink

First time's (not 3rd) a charm...

I set a brand new record when slow playing today.  I went in, bought a single $5 Diamonds & Gold, and.....

......BAM!  $50 winner!  Those other tickets came from later on at another place.  It took only 1 ticket during my slow playing session to hit a $30 or better winner (the new record I referred to in the 1st sentence).  Can't do any better than that. Big Grin  I also hit a bunch of other nice winners (as I broke from usual tradition and did not stop after hitting that $50 winner....but slow played some more on other tickets) which I'll recap on next Friday's KACHING Report.  Most of the other winners during the slow playing session came on the very 1st or 2nd ticket.

Until next time, may you hit nothing but diamonds or other winning symbols. Smile

Nice week this week.  Thanks to all the winners, I've got some extra dough to play around with tomorrow when I go slow playing......although my plans don't involve slow playing $10 or $20 tickets. Wink

Until next time, may you hit some big bucks on your tickets. Smile

Remember when I mentioned that my luck seemed to change for better...

.....when there was weather (e.g. rain, snow) coming for us or already here?  Well, it was starting to snow here yesterday before I went to work.  I still went by a package store and got some tickets.  I hit a couple of winners, but.........

.....I also wound up with this nice winner......my 2nd $30 winner in 3 days. Big Grin

It was crazy at work last night........there was a race to get everything done and get outta there before the snow got worse.  Thankfully.......that didn't happen....but we still got everything done early. Smile

Until next time, may your fire light up some nice winnings. Wink

No picks necessary...

.....picks as in the picks people used during the gold rush to get gold and diamonds out of mines.......just needed a little bit of dough......

I hit that $30 winner on the right at the tobacco mart while slow playing.  That $10 winner on the left was hit later on at another place.

BUT.......that isn't all.  My mom bought a couple before mine and won a free ticket.  I decided to go by a package store later on and buy some more tickets.  She wanted another Diamonds & Gold for her free ticket.  So, I bought 4 of them....3 for myself and 1 for her using her free ticket.  I asked her which one did she want of the 4 and she chose the 1st one.  The other 3, which were mine........were all free tickets.  The 1st one, my mom's......

....was that.  $50 followed by 3 free tickets....all 4 tickets were winners.  Woooooooooow.  Not only that........but I couldn't believe she trumped my big win from the tobacco mart. Eek  What a day......

Until next time, may you hit nothing but diamonds and gold on lottery tickets........or something equal to that anyway. Smile

Saturday slow playing:

$5 ($$$ $1 + $2) on $1 Triple Win

2 free tickets and $5 ("5X" $1) on 3 $1 5X The Money

$2 (Bat $1) on $1 Spooky Loot

4 free tickets on some $1 Holiday Cash

If you noticed....all winners came on the $1 tickets.  That's because this slow playing session didn't last too long.  I started with the $1 tickets and didn't even reach the $2 tickets (or the last $1 ticket they had) before I got a call telling me to come on and let's go.

Saturday other places:

$5 (Ace $2 + $1), free ticket, and $10 (Ace $5) back-to-back on 3 $2 Aces & 8s

Free ticket on $10 Cash Explosion

$2 (2 x $1) on $2 Georgia Jackpot

$20 loss

Monday:

$2 (2 x $1) on $1 5X The Money

Back-to-back $10 winners (2 x Tree $1 and 10 x $1) on 2 $5 Merry Money

$7 profit

The KACHING Meter for January 16, 2008:  6.9

I'm posting this early for 2 reasons.......first is that I have to work tonight....2nd is that I don't plan on buying any tickets today.  I do plan on slow playing tomorrow......and hopefully I'll get to try out the new tickets that GA has.

I've given up on Cash 3 for a while since I've had no luck.  I'm going to keep looking (and continue to do my Excel spreadsheet stuff) at these systems and may get back into it later.

Until next time, may you figure out something and hit the numbers games for a nice sum. Smile

$10 loss

The KACHING Meter for January 9, 2009:  19.6

1A brand new, single-ticket record (previous was 7 $100 winners).

The week went from good to bad.  Started really good.......went really bad when I bought those 2 Millionaire Jumbo Bucks and didn't win even a free ticket.  A guy at work told me he bought 8 of those Millionaire Jumbo Bucks ($160 worth) and did not win a dime.......not even a free ticket.  Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.......... (He does buy lots of tickets at a time.....not a whole roll, but he'll buy something like 8 $10 tickets or so at a time -- and he's hit countless $250 and $600 winners on the $10 Millionaire Mania tickets while I can't hit more than $25 on that particular ticket).

I went ahead and posted this today because I have no plans on buying any tickets (not even Cash 3) today.  I do plan on slow playing tomorrow at the tobacco mart.

Until next time, may you cash in on some nice winnings on your tickets. Smile

What a way to kick off 2009...

....with a.....

B - A - N - G!  BANG!!!!!!!

I hit these big ones earlier today while slow playing at that tobacco mart.  I thought I'd never do it, but I finally broke my record for most ever won on a single lottery ticket.....used to be $100 7 times and now it's $125.  I had a $20 bill left in my wallet after I hit that, so I decided to take a chance with a Millionaire Jumbo Bucks.  JUMBO BABY!!!!!! Big Grin

Here's an updated list of biggest winners in each category to reflect today's brand new record......

$20:  $100 ($50 + $20 + 3 x $10) on GA Lottery 15th Anniversary Millionaire Extravaganza -- July 2008

$10:  3 $100 winners (1st and 3rd via 5 x $10 + 10 x $5 via firecracker "win all" and 2nd via 4 x Bill $5) on Cash Explosion -- 1st 2 in Feb. 2008 and 3rd in May 2008

$5:  $60 (15 x $4 via truck "win all") on $250,000 Cash -- May 2008

$3:  $45 (Double Bill $15 + $9 + $6) on Strike It Rich 2009 -- Dec. 2008

$2:  $125 ($100 + $20 + $5) on Loteria -- Jan. 2009

$1:  $100 (Jumbo $20) on Junior Jumbo Bucks -- April 2005

$0.50:  $40 (381 box) on Cash 3 -- October 2008

Holy cow.......I can't believe I finally did it....breaking the old single-ticket record of $100.

Until next time.....may you break your own personal record for biggest win on a single lottery ticket. Smile

The KACHING Meter for January 2, 2009:  6.0

Overall, this week wasn't that good.  I'm "batting 500" (won 1, lost 1) on those Millionaire Jumbo Bucks tickets.  Oh well.....can't have big picture-perfect wins every week. Smile

About that lucky charm.......I replied to a thread in the lottery discussion forum about lucky charms and talked about mine and stated that I might post a picture of it later.  Well, I'll post a picture of it.  I'll warn you.....it's kinda hard to see the "pi" symbol......my scanner couldn't hit enough light on it.  You've gotta hold it in the light really well in order to see it.

(If you're curious, the other side of this scratcher coin has the current GA Lottery logo on it.)

This scratcher coin has scratched off quite a few nice winners last year, including my 2 most recent $100 winners (that I remember.....I don't know if I used this coin for my 1st 3 $100 winners last year year or not).

Until next time, may you hit big on your numbers games and scratchers. Big Grin

Here's to...

.....more and bigger winners for everyone in 2009!  Big Grin

I know it's 2009, but let's jump back to 2008 for about 6 minutes for the December KACHING video on YouTube......

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNor2LuNR70

This one is a little bit longer as I've included some of my smaller wins as well.

Until next time, may you hit nothing but big winners in 2009. Smile
