You could file a complaint with the Illinois Lottery explaining you were sold a pre-printed, losing ticket for a previous drawing. Don't count on being compensated, but there's a slight chance, especially if others have complained too about issues with that retailer, the Illinois Lottery might investigate further. As for the future, likely best to buy elsewhere; use a self-service terminal. Or better yet, eliminate the retailer part entirely, and buy a subscription on-line at the Illinois Lot
