Minnesota paperless, instant-win Lottery games to end
The Minnesota Lottery's experiment with paperless, instant-play tickets sold over the Internet and other platforms will come to an end as Gov. Mark Dayton decided Thursday against vetoing legislation suspending the games. The Legislature had sent Dayton the bill to stop the virtual games after overwhelming votes in the Senate last week and the House on Thursday. Spokesman Matt Swenson said Dayton would defer to their will rather than veto it, which could have subjected him to a possible overr

Minn. Senate passes bill restricting expansion of State Lottery
Minnesotans soon may no longer be able to buy lottery tickets at ATMs, gas pumps or online, as the Senate overwhelmingly passed a bill Thursday that would restrict the Minnesota State Lottery's yearslong foray into new gambling platforms. The decisive 56-8 vote was a rebuke to Gov. Mark Dayton, who vetoed a similar measure last year. Bill author Sen. Lyle Koenen, DFL-Clara City, and Republican advocates of the bill framed the issue as one of legislative prerogative, accusing the State Lott

Canadian man loses $27 million lottery jackpot by 7 seconds
Hum, I wonder if this gambling man will move to a different province in Canada that still prints out same-day draw tickets only? I don't know of any states' lottery retailers that do that here in the good 'ole U. S. of A.. However, to attempt to fix an abundant anger situation, some vendors used to unplug their lottery machine terminals come 9PM and say something like: Sorry the machine is down, please come back tomorrow after 6AM. But, the 'to-the-wire impulse folks' got upset about that met

Lottery Post member turns up the heat on the Hoosier Lottery
Every State Representives territory is broken down by population ect, and what I would like to see by each district is, the names addresses and zip code of each vendor that sells lottery and scratch off tickets. Lottery Post member turns up the heat on the Hoosier Lottery
The people of these United States don't really have anyone to lobby in their state for them concerning the Lottery Games, rules and regulations. If you want honest and fair games, you need to form a Lottery Union to represent the people. Your dollars are donated to your state and you really don't have the say as to what games, computerized or machines, what the payout will be. There also needs to be a tracking system by each congressional representive to how many vendors in their district, ho

Illinois taxpayers have funded about $2 million in retention bonuses for employees of a private firm managing the lottery despite the firm performing so poorly Illinois is working to replace it. A Tribune investigation has found the state approved paying bonuses as part of a complicated deal it struck in 2015 with the firm, Northstar Lottery Group.
