Count me among the skeptics.
I think ezmoney is having a few kicks at the
expense of his perceived tormentors here.

It's actually the first jackpot winner in PA since '05.
And ezmoney claims it?  The math just doesn't stack.
Logic would dictate that ezmoney noticed that
the winner was from PA while checking his tickets,
and was thus given his first opportunity at pulling
the wool over the eyes of the users here since
his reappeance here, thus temporarily living out
a festering fantasy.

But as someone who plays the lottery on a fairly
regular basis, I guess I don't really give a hoot about
math and common sense, so I'm still not sure...that is
until some geriatric couple steps forward as usual.

But I also personally realized that if someone here
did actually win for real, I'd rather not hear about it.
It's different when a complete stranger wins it, but
if someone here wins it, I admit that I personally
felt pangs of envy severely more than previously.

You've just joined today and this is your first post, how can you feel envy more than previously?  Did you just join to express your feelings of envy after having come to LP a few times in the past?

I guess you've been hanging out and reading the post for awhile since this is your first post.

I remembered when I joined after sitting out and reading post for almost a year before joining. I felt like I knew everyone that posted when I joined.

      Welcome to LP.

      But don't envy. It's such a negative.

I think envy is okay.  That's only being human.  Jealousy is a very negative feeling, however.  To me, there is a big difference.  For example, I am envious when I hear words like "I can sleep through anything" or "I sleep like a rock."  I don't know what's it's like to even get a few restful hours (and that's when it's chemically induced!) Yet I would never be jealous of someone just because he/she can do something I cannot. Being jealous of a person who is healthier, prettier or richer than I am serves no purpose in life.  However, being envious of someone who gets lucky & wins a jackpot is a normal reaction.  Just my opinion.

Congrats and if this is true, and you are still feeling like Mother Teresa in giving all your winnings away to spite your enemies, I have undergrad and medical school to pay off... All the best!!!

And now the bottom feeders come out. His first post and it is asking for money. Disapprove

EZMoney, if it is true you have won, please check yourself into anger management classes. Any maybe some therapy, so you can learn ways to look on the brighter side of things. Maybe the money will ease some of the stress that makes you act the way you do. I certainly hope so. Enjoy the money and lighten up!   Thumbs Up

Edit: justxploring, I just now read your post about the anger management classes.  If a couple of people are saying it maybe it is just the thing to do.

I don't normally feel envious when someone else wins, just continue to hope that my day to win will come soon. I'am usually happy for them as long as they don't flaunt it around and in your face like they are the best thing since "sliced bread". Then I get angry.

Dead Aim, I'm not defending anyone here, but I didn't read that post as being greedy or a "bottom feeder" because I assumed Winston was referring to EZMoney's previous posts. He wrote that he doesn't want to keep the money and is going to give it all away.

Not to take the spotlight away from ezmoney, the man of the hour

(actually most likely the man of the entire duration of LP's existance if his claims

are indeed valid), but I will address some concerns posed to me here.

I have indeed been lurking for quite a while now, which is not unusual considering

that the general rule of thumb traditionally for an internet discussion board is

that approximately only 10% of the readers are active posters, although the

proportion may be higher here as the discussion of playing lotteries beyond a

superficial level is an esoteric subject indulged by a very niche group.  I would have

continued to fly under the radar so to speak until being triggered by ezmoney's

astonishing claims, at which point I felt the need to finally speak out.  As I have

said, this feeling of envy was intense, but at the same time it was relatively brief,

and it gave me a new perspective of what I would feel if indeed a regular member here

were to actually win, the emotional state of which is difficult to gauge until its occurrence.

Now it seems that some of you are from the new-age like school of thought of karma

and putting out positive vibes and such, thus chastizing me for my inadventent feelings.

I say good for you, but we are the product of our natures obviously.

                      Dead_AIM,

Please...Chief...I was simply responding to a comment that EZ made some time ago regarding giving all of his/her winnings away if he/she won. So don't be quick to judge.

Oh and your simple minded comment about being a "bottom feeder", I have been here longer than you, I just don't participate in the mindless drivel that you seem to engage. Lastly, if you are serious in taking offense to my facetious statment, you have to reassess your priorities.

                      That is all...

nono sir, ezmoney always posts that link from way back when he won $70K ..[earlier 2000s] he's saying that he won THIS weekend's $86mil .. half of us are waiting for brangelina's twins debut the other half for the press conference w/ez and the PA lotto .. it's going to be a HUGE monday--  it's hard NOT to believe him because he sounded the same way when he first won .. so, if it's true, then you can stick my tongue far back in my mouth for me! i'll be a monkey's uncle ...
