The funny thing about these lottery forums and lengthy debates about play strategies is that most of the people who actually win the jackpot win by quick pick anyway.

Smart lottery winners form trust to claim their winnings.  They send an attorney to the lottery headquarters to claim the prize in trust, so that ONLY the name of the trust is revealed.  And they tell NO ONE, especially relatives.

If you ever win a lottery and you are single, the only person you should ever marry is someone who was truly in love with you BEFORE you won the jackpot!

I'll try to be the first to say this,

You can win the Mega Million by a Lucky Chance,

Either its by someone dropping their ticket or throwing it away,

and you by Destiny picked it up and see that you won Millions,

Your Kid or Grand kid can jump up in the middle of the night from out of dead sleep and shout out 4 numbers

and you by chance can play them and win a Straight hit easy,

This Game really needs to be stopped,

Its even sending folks Crazy Discussing theories on foolishness,

All i can say it this,

If we are Gamblers trying to Master what we do,

then we do it in the Extreme,

Think about in the future when this Game become truly revolutionary,

Then Generation then would look back at this Lottery Post and Say,

""Geee, those Gamblers in the Past were all so stupid,

they wasted their entire life trying to Win this game""

And All Along in the Gambling Records

The People Lost Trillions to the Lottery Commission.

I could see them laughing at this generation now...

"'The thing that hurts us the most,is to witness the Future and still deny the Past""

Brad Duke claimed he had a system and as far as I know he only won big once using it.  That Silver guy sells a system he claims is the same system that Duke used and I have yet to hear any lottery winner say he used his system.  It's even  hard to break even when you play all the possible combinations.

He said that you have to play 15 numbers. I think that he bought as many tickets as he could. You only have to win once, if you win the first price.

Choices don't have to be complicated, you just might stick to 1 to 15.

It's obvious that luck played a bigger part in him winning than his system.  It's hard to get that lucky more than once during a lifetime.

The system is paying the tickets. Some only need one ticket, eventually just a quick pick.

I think I've found what I've been looking for --- BBC Basic.  I think I'm going to like it better than Liberty Basic.  It looks like I can do everything I did with GWBasic and much much more and the learning curve is short since all the good things I learned with GWBasic still apply.

After all your research, is BBC Basic your choice?

After all your research, is BBC Basic your choice?

It was and there was a QB2BB program that I thought would solve all my problems.

I rewrote my ODDS program using BBC, added some features and it worked fine.  My other programs depend on reading and writing files and I'm having problems with that so maybe my search isn't over.

I used the QB2BB program to convert one of my other GW-Basic program to BBC but it won't work because the website that had the Library file I need to install is either down or out of business.

I could still end up having to learn VB6 or some other language.  If Liberty Basic didn't have the INPUT problem I might have gone with it.

An advanced understanding of statistics can definitely explain draws, but cannot predict exactly.  Interesting that a mutiple lotto winner in Texas was a Ph.D in mathematics...

                            Hi,

This post is a little off topic. Being a firm believer in doing my own number research and the way knowledge is passed around the LP, I found the link interesting and somewhat applicable to what goes on here.

Probability and game theory have been around for a long time.   When looking to increase our chances

of winning a prize our only options are to find fault with the mechanism used to generate the numbers

and/or play smarter.   All systems should incorporate one or both of these options.  Play as smart as we

can and hope for the best using as much math as possible in our search.

I enjoyed the article but there are some things which sound similar but really have nothing to do with each

other.  The problems faced in the article have workable solutions while predicting random does not.

Possible vs impossible.  Lottery system need to address that which falls within the realm of possible.

I am not saying systems can't produce winning sets, I am saying random can't be predicted.

they are not.  Many great discoveries come while searching for something else
