One of Ronnie316's  original  "Systems",

  was to cut the number feild in Half,     Odd/Even 

  and we got  28 numbers,   and  I think  Half  of 28  is

                                        16         so.... I wanna try 16 numbers

 1   6   7   8   11   12   16   18   30   31  32   34   39   40   41   44

               bonus ball         16                                                           for tonight's Mega Millions

Hottest Numbers Last 10 Draws:  1  6  8  11  12  30  32  39  41  ( included in above numbers ) 

     I like  "Gap Strategy"  bobby   he picks numbers, for specific reasons too.

There are only 5 winning numbers and it's possible to have all 5 in a group of 28 numbers and it's possible to have all 5 using 16 numbers. The more numbers used gets better chances of matching all 5, but it also gives you more numbers that won't be drawn. MM is a 5 if 5 of 56 numbers game and using 28, 16, or even 6 numbers doesn't change the 5 if 5.

"I like  "Gap Strategy"  bobby   he picks numbers, for specific reasons too."

Bobby's strategy is different than Delta gaps where the numbers from the last drawing (09 · 22 · 32 · 38 · 55) are expressed as 9 - 13 - 10 - 6 - 17 and probably the only filter that shows unique combinations. Any strategy is much better than trying to get lucky with QPs.

    There are thousands of lottery terminals in every state and 44 states and jurisdictions are selling MM and PB QPs to millions of players, but I can't remember the last time (excluding the record jackpots) when there was more than one jackpot winning QP. Should we rely on luck by being in the right state, in the right city or town, in the right store, at the right time or should we try to get lucky by picking the numbers?

    It makes absolutely no difference.  However, you WILL save on travel expenses if you purchase your tickets at your nearest Lottery outlet.

      I always thought paint be numbers was BETTER.

        I agree Stack. I have seen on the Internet that it has been proven scientifically that a group (or block) of combinations will win with more consistency and regularity than random lines. (as in QPs) Even though the number of wins would even out over time, the random lines tended to be sporadic and unpredictable. 

        What I believe is, they only tested set groups and failed to realize that the patterns would be magnified if the random lines were changed out for each set of winning numbers drawn. Like the RNG in a slot machine, you don't get to hit the 1000 to 1 payout after 1000 pulls....... all you get is another 1000 to 1 pull. 

        Because groups of lines can be considered self pick there is no need to play by the same rules and change the played lines out every draw. The self pick "group" would need only be changed once a winning match occurs.

        Again, I believe the consistent tendencies of the "group" lines would be magnified and give them BETTER ODDS of matching 5 of 5 more often. 

        Or am I merely pontificating What?

              I Agree! Everything we have done here has been super simplistic, and 1 in 39 has been a major theme.

              Another way to get that same information is to such check the last 798 drawings with a group of 28 numbers. When I did with the group 1-28, this was the result.
