I play locally five combinations. I used to play 24 combinations for 50 cents and win.
It is hard to win anything with the twisted payouts and more numbers.

Could have been more, but the limit is ten combinations.

I noticed you matched 3of6 twice again tonight in Classic Lotto with only ten lines.  Keep that up and you just might hook the big one.  Congratulations!

That could have paid better again. 45 was in the numbers too. A 4 or 5 of 6 was possible.

Not likely, but I hope it's not because I didn't buy a ticket.

I plan to buy a ticket for almost every drawings until it's won.

Playing only ten lines or less, you need a little luck to pick a big winner even if the combination is among the ones you are picking from.  I've skipped over a few match4's and match5's in favor something that paid less or nothing sometimes.

I added a first pick3 code to my program, a kind of farer developed straight Vtrac. I will eventually develop a sort of lotto Vtrac next week. So far I only use one filter on pick3 and will adapt it for pick4 and pick2. Trying to get it right.

Vtrac has been around for a while now and discussed every way imaginable and yet I haven't heard of anyone dominating the pick3 or pick4 games using it.

I could only find five players with a full payback on LP. For a pick 3 nest I would expect more people getting over the hundred percent hurdle.

The payout ratio is better at pick 6.
There is one more winner at pick 6.

There is no million to win with a pick 3.
                      Spooky, pick 6 does better.

Those results seem to suggest the odds of breaking even are about the same regardless of the type of lottery game you play.  It's just a matter of whether you want to waste your money chasing a $50 or a million dollars prize.

The odds of breaking even depend of the payout distribution and the game dimensions. By odds and payouts a lottery game is average lost. For the winners it is a good investment, for the loosers it is a waste of money. There are not enough cheap games where you can play for 25 or 50 cents. Give poor people a chance to play! So far I still think that a roulette table offers the best payout ratio. People used to tell me that blackjack was the game to play, and poker would even be better. I wouldn't risk myself at blackjack, and I never play poker. Since the tsar was here, we have casinos.
