With how widespread the gap is at the moment, it wouldn't surprise me if a jackpot is hit in the 650k range and 700k range simultaneously. You can find tickets in the low 600ks and 700ks easily lol.
$20 Flamingo has had a two month dry streak.
So you are implying that you would broaden your target range to 650-700k?

Personally, yes. I think that entire range is "fair game". I think the last jackpot I saw was in the 580k range on the FL lottery winner. Depending on how jackpots are spread out on that game, I wouldn't even eliminate 630k and up.

So Gray are you saying that the 640-660k range on 5M Multiplier is likely due for both a 5M and a 1M winner?
Shy of a jackpot disappearing, yes. I think we'll see both a $5M and a $1M in there.
And there's plenty of books still out there in that range. During the past couple of weeks most of the tickets I've purchased were 648-649k, it's just that one book today I saw up around 710k (and another one last week around 690k).

@Dracos - The highest Super Millions serial number I've encountered was 737,000+. I suspect the winner is in the 720-735 range. Even though there are several hundred rolls out there, the problem is that 2/3 of them are in stores with them just sitting in inventory. If all of them were activated and put out for sale, that last top prize would be claimed within the month.
Also, my thoughts on the $20 Flamingo is that I'd be looking in the 650-700k range for the $5M prize. We still have a lot of stores here with tickets in that range...mostly in the upper 690s now. I've been buying one or two here and there, but no real luck.
I haven't stopped playing, but I have kept my expenditures to $50/week. If I run into SM in the ideal range, I may take the plunge and buy them out.

True, lottery district offices being the culprit. The Jacksonville office has 16 rolls for example. That would be wild if the jackpot ends up being found at one of those spots.
Also, another thing these reports don't tell us is how many are left on the roll. While there may be close to "500" rolls listed, many of these rolls are halfway or almost near the end. When I went to Chiefland, and Old Town, I bought through many rolls in the 20s. Complete rolls vs active rolls is something we also have to keep in mind. With the right amount of luck, a person could take $300 and play through 5-10 different if it has at least a few $100 winners or if they are almost finished off. Like MrGray pointed out, the end of Super Millions rolls seems to be where alot of winners are condensed.
I might head into Jacksonville this weekend to play a little. The tickets in Jacksonville seem to be alot better than Gainesville area, generally. Did you ever stop by that one Shell gas station that's supposed to have one of the highest number of claim tickets yearly? Do they have a large collection there?

I found a Super Millions roll in 729k and have been playing this for last one week (couple of tickets at a time) near my place.. I got 9 duds out of 12 tickets that I played!!!! As Dracos said, I hope that winning tickets are condensed at the end of roll...So, I decided to play and complete this roll tomorrow. I won only $20, $20 and $40 in 12 tickets I played until now....What is the minimum return that I can expect out of playing the entire Super millions roll so that I can go with worst case scenario to play tomorrow...

Dracos/MrGray/Gator/Oldghost, what's your experience in getting worst returns from a Super Millions roll???
I know I've gotten $205/$600 return on $10 rolls before. I think $20 rolls pay that same minimum. I'm pretty sure I've gotten that same return of $205 from $20 Flamingo before. The worst return I've gotten on Super Millions in particular is probably closer to $300/$600 return. For me, that ticket has at least paid back better than $20 Flamingo.

In about a week, I'm going to be traveling down in South FL for the next 2 months. Will it be Dracos' time to finally hit it big!?! Assuming Super Millions doesn't have a jackpot hit between now and then, it will probably be the game I'll play.
Also, is anyone playing the $2 Double Deuces? I'm still shocked to still a jackpot hasn't been hit on it yet. It isn't a bad $2 ticket. I've seen lots of $10, and $15 winners on it. I even bought 5 for $10, and got $55 back one time.

Not a great Super Millions Roll (729k)...I bought the remaining roll (17 tickets) and got $165 (close to 50%)...
Sorry to hear about the mediocre roll. We're looking at less than 400 books (likely a bit less when you factor some of these books are open and almost finished) across the state based on the data I've seen. The way I see it, the odds of hitting a jackpot at this point if you buy a book should be substantially better.
I think I'm going to try to play through a book, or two of Super Millions this weekend. I'll probably travel to Jacksonville, or Ocala.

I am calling, calling, and calling...
Most of the places I have called say they don't have $20 Super Millions in stock. Alot of these stores are listed as "received", and perhaps the store representative is too busy/lazy or doesn't have access to check. There's definitely far less than 400 books active/readily available across the state, wouldn't surprise me if the actual number were lower than 200. At any rate, alot of the Super Millions books are mostly available at district offices. Some Publix/Winn Dixie locations seem to have them in stock, but they won't be getting any shelf life.
I wonder if in these cases, lottery retailers can round them up and send them to AK Kwik.
