I'm down in South FL, and played through a 2 books of $2m Jackpot (268k, and 270k). One book was decent returning about 75%. The other was bad, probably 30% back roughly. I also played through Super Millions, surprisingly encountered several books in the 600k range. I bought 1 ticket off each of those, and then abandoned those rolls. I bought through a 714k, and 719k roll on Super Millions. Nada. I left one 719k roll after winning on the first ticket, simply because I know the print goes up to 737k and I anticipate the 725k-730k as being the more realistic JP range.

The new Gold Rush ticket is coming out soon. I'm seeing lots of advertisements. With it having a top prize at $5M, I wonder what the prize structure will look like. I'm guessing it might not have the $100k prize tier, and/or $20k-$10k prize tiers in order to make the $500 prize slightly more attainable than other $20 tickets (but not as good as the current $20 Gold Rush's $500 hit chances simply because it has a top jackpot of $3M)

So far, not impressed with what I've encountered with South FL tickets. Since most games have had hits recently ($20 Monopoly, $20 Flamingo, $20 Gold Rush - sorta kinda, $5 Winning Streak, $5 Monopoly, $5 Maximum DEBT, $2 Double Deuces), I'm kind of at a loss as far as what to play. I might play a little more $2M Jackpot, or Super Millions if I come across them. Nothing else seems "ripe" for a hit. Maybe the $10 Monopoly will have another hit soon?

Tomorrow, I might play some in the Pompano Beach area. Today has been "meh" with the highest hit being $50, so pretty bad considering how many tickets I've played through...

    Hey zz,

Casino Action is the only $50 tic in Tx right now. Top prize is $7.5 million. 3 top prizes, 1 has been claimed so 2 left out there, somewhere in the big state of Texas. LOL.

There are 2 new $20 tix. $1,000,000 Riches...6 top prizes of $1 million, none claimed yet. The other is Millionaire's Club. Same $1 million prize, 6 out there, none claimed.  They both have the same odds for the top prize, 1 in 1,000,000.

I haven't played these yet myself. I got away from scratchers and have been playing AoN, and Triple Chance, along with MM, PB, Lotto, and Texas 2 Step.

You might buy 1 tic when you first hit the state, then buy one in the middle, and buy one before you leave the state.

I would suggest you be sure to buy one of your tix in the Houston area. I'm not a conspiracy nut about certain areas getting all the winners, but Houston does have a lot.

Whatever you decide, good luck and have a good trip!

Thanks. Our first stop is in Baytown so we'll probably pick one up there. Do you know if Buc-ee's sells lotto? That place is like Wawa only 100x bigger and with the cleanest restrooms in the country. Looking forward to trying the food there but I wasn't sure if they sold lotto or not.

I don't know if Buc-ee's does or not. I would think they do. You can't go a quarter mile anywhere in Tx without running into a c-store or grocery store selling lottery.

I was getting gas at a convenience store yesterday. There was a promotional poster for the new $5,000,000 Gold Rush Doubler. This is how the game is played. Match any of YOUR NUMBERS to any of the WINNING NUMBERS win PRIZE shown for that number. Get a 5X symbol and win FIVE TIMES the PRIZE shown. Get a 10X symbol and win TEN TIMES the PRIZE shown for that symbol. Get a GOLDBAR symbol and win $500 automatically. Get a MONEYBAG symbol and win ALL 20 PRIZES shown. Bonus box: Get a GOLD NUGGET symbol and double the PRIZES you won. Excludes the 5X, 10X, GOLDBAR and MONEYBAG symbols. Sounds like the same thing for Georgia Lottery's Jackpot series. Can't wait

blah. I was excited to hear about a new 20 dollar gold rush. but not anymore. why do they keep raising the jackpots on the 20 dollar games to 5 mil? I am quite sure the new odds will be terrible to win 500 and the like. ill be very shocked if its better than 1:300.

I even wish they lowered the jackpot to 1 or 2 mil on a 20 $ game and added a lot of medium wins such as really good odds to get 100, 200 and 500 dollar wins.

I'm with you all the way on this. I'd much prefer lower top prizes, but more of them, or having the some of those top dollar amounts scratched to propagate the money down (particularly to the $500 level) to better the odds.

@MrGray - I'm with you all the way.  If they cut out the $5M prizes, they could add 50 more $100k prizes or 10,000 more $500 prizes.  The whole point of the Gold Rush games was for great odds at the $500 prize at the expense of the top tier prizes.  I will be really disappointed if they do what they did with the $20 Monopoly and just copy and paste nearly identical odds from the $20 Flamingo game.

Speaking of the $20 Flamingo game, I received an instant liability report current as of today.  The $1M prize odds are not as great as we thought.  The $5M prize seems like it's ready to pop soon.

I agree with you all that a $20 ticket with a lower jackpot of $1m with amazing $500 odds, and better lower tier prizes would be much more favorable. A $1m jackpot is life-changing, I'm not sure why they haven't experienced with this yet.

I played through a bunch of Super Millions today, got my ass kicked. Nothing over $50. These seem hard to find even in South FL, most places I call claim they don't have it in stock. Whenever I've found them, I've snagged them up with the exception of anything in under 700k. I've played through some in the 720k, and 735k range today. This game is as unforgiving as ever. A $500 win would be beautiful on this game at this point.

I bought 1 $25 Fortune, and $20 Gold Rush at a Publix in Dania Beach.  First one behind the counter both were $100 winners. I could have been ahead, but played some more and try some from the machine. Bought 4 from the machine, and found another $100 winner and $30 winner. $100 winners are decent, but at this point a $500 winner or up would be so helpful to the bank account right now.

I'm going to try to play through more Super Millions I find tomorrow, assuming I can find some. I wonder consider $2, $5, and $10 tickets but it doesn't seem like any are "ripe" for a jackpot hit. Then again, who knows... I was surprised to see the $5 Monopoly already in the 200k+ book range.

While going out to get a couple $2M Jackpot tickets today I stopped at a few random stores and found some interesting books. Found a book of $10 Holiday Gifts in the 21k range. Went through about ten tickets and pretty much broke even (might go back and play a few more).

Also, I've recently been buying a few $500 A Week For Life tickets here and there and have mostly seen book #s in the 180k range which should be pretty close to the end. Today, though, I found three stores with tickets from 190k to 193k. Ghost, I know you've been playing this also, have you seen any this high?

I had to wait till today when I got one. Book at the place I pick them up is at the end of the 193 range.

I still think the missing $5M is going to come from a book near 650k, but those are getting sparse. Maybe someone hit it, stuck it in a sealed container and buried it in the back yard before filing for divorce. It'll show up a year from now when it no longer has to get split as a marital asset.

@Krissam - I'm down in South Fl until early November for work.

Bought the last 15 tickets on a Super Millions roll. Only 2 winners for $20 each. That should be illegal. I haven't double checked, but I doubt I missed anything.

I see no point in playing $20 Super Millions. Most of the rolls I've encountered have been MINIMUM payouts of $215 or $245/$600. There's probably $50k - $100k worth of tickets still out there with the likely 100-200 books remaining across the state. The lists across the state points toward there being closer to 500 books, but from what I've noticed...about 1/5th of the stores on lists actually seen to have them. Many places insist they don't have it in stock, or have small quantities of tickets remaining on their roll. There's certainly alot of error in their inventory reports. Additionally, there's a good number of SUB 700k Super Millions rolls out there. I've encountered several in the 600k range, which I didn't touch. In reality, the true number of books in the relevant jackpot ranges could be substantially less than 100 books. The search definitely isn't worth it with the average return from books seeming to edge closer to the 30-40% mark, which is pretty <snip> sad considering  $1 tickets pay that.

I called most places in South Fl, and alot of books listed are unaccounted for. I'm officially done with that chase as of today. $1 and $2 tickets pay off better than $20 Super millions. I found a $200 winner on the $5 Monopoly today. How sad is it that $5 tickets seem to do better than $20 Super Millions?

Super Millions is WORSE than Lucky200 k a year for life. Never thought there could be a worse $20 ticket.

@ Jackinthebox - I've checked the Emergency Game Rules for 2016, and it hasn't been posted yet. It is possible (and likely) that the lottery may post that information several days in advance, so we might know by the end of the week. Oldghost is usually very good about looking into that information, so he will likely post it.

@ The LP Fam - Out of all the Super Millions I played this past week, this is my biggest winner. Ironically, it was a "one and done" because I bought it just to see what book number it was on and didn't think it was in the range I was looking for.  When I saw the 10X symbol, I was thinking "please be $100 or $200" as a big hit is needed and would be so appreciated right now.
