" If we could just get the idiots in Washington to approve more nuclear power plants that would be great."

Perhaps they have this on their minds Nightstalker...Remember?

Fukushima Nuclear Crisis...( March 11 2011)

Absolutely I remember.  But there are over 180 nuclear power plants in Europe that run without any problems.  I fully believe that if the Europeans can run them with no problems, that we can as well.

That is one plant and accidents can happen.  Why should we be afraid of the risks?

Radiation from Japan is already starting to arrive on California shores, and more is on the way.

I Agree!...However when was the last time we has a Nuclear Plant built in the country?-l think its the " possibility of disaster" that keeps lawmakers from not pressing the issue.

No one wants to take the rap as the one who pushed for its construction should there be a disaster.

There's already glow-in-the-dark drinks. And now we have glow-in-the-dark jellyfish ice cream.

I'm sure there's a market for glow-in-the-dark sushi with trendy California eaters. Confused

That's the problem.  No one wants to take the chance.  WTF happened to Amercia?  In today's climate, there's no way we'd ever land another man on the moon, something bad might happen.

It is immoral for one to have more wealth than someone else.

Our current president is going to focus on  income equality for the rest of his term.

We could very well go back to 70 and 80 percent tax brackets in this country. Has happened before and can happen again.

That still won't be enough to satisfy him and all his supporters who view the wealthy as evil. The highest tax bracket was 94% and that would be a milestone the extreme left would love.

Very interesting that you would say this on a lottery discussion board.

                      Scared

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

                      Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

I don't understand how it is immoral for someone to have more wealth than someone else?  Wealth and profit have done a great many things for this country.  Men that started with nothing have built tremendous amounts of wealth.  Do you think that because they risked failure or failed more than once that when they are successful they should just hand over any "excess" to someone at home on the couch risking nothing?

You don't have to hit the jackpot to join the top tier tax bracket. An AGI of 400k/single, 425k/married is all it takes. The additional 3.8% Investment income/Obamacare tax starts at 200k for singles and 250k for married couples...and don't forget about the 12.4% SS tax that the Democrats are trying to take away the yearly cap which is currently at 113k.

Yep.  Unfortunately, its not just the ones on the left.  There are plenty on the right that lack the stones to act to impeach this lawless dictator.
