O M G!!!
You are not for real.
First of all, they're not going to eliminate large states, that's just dumb and you know it. The outrage would be overwhelming.
Secondly, there's a 99.9% chance you won't win a major JP in your lifetime anyways, and That's a FACT. So why stress yourself over something that will most likely NOT happen in your lifetime?
I'd suggest you worry over something more down to earth.
Talking to some people is like talking to a brick wall to be honest.

I don't fund anything in California cause I'm too intelligent to spend money on something I most likely will not experience in my lifetime.
So now you change the subject. Why not stick to the subject at hand? If you move to California, or any other large populated state, your chance will NOT increase. if they eliminate large states from the game, your chance of winning will still be 0.1% of winning.
What part don't you understand? Ask me and I'll explain it in other ways because you don't get it.
No, it's technically not a subject change, people are throwing there money away to pay for californias money problems. I haven't played any of the multi-state lotteries in a very long time, because of california getting the win all the time, why do people want to throw away their money to undeserving californians?
My chance of winning may not increase, but other states chances will increase.

I was wondering where you were going with this...
I don't think that's how it works... each state gets their cut regardless of which state produces the winner in PB and MM.

I'm beginning to wonder if we should boycott Mega Millions. They promised huge jackpots with the new matrix, but the jackpots have been anaything but huge. It can never seem to get above $200 million. A new, HARD matrix needs to be put in place because it's way too easy for some to win still. Odds need to be at least 1 in 500 trillion.
Also, the game is rigged to let California win most of the time. California needs to be kicked out of all MUSL games, or have their winnings taxed at a 95% rate. California can just have their own state lottery & all 38 million residents can win & split the change with each other.
I'll play Powerball only from now on.

Where did you come up with thiswe stuff? What you do is your business, what the rest of us do is not.

Lets look at it another way. How about those of us that aren't living in california, stop buying MM's, and PB, you are basically throwing your money away.

I just got the list of all the states that have had a winning jackpot this year from USA Mega.
Aug 22, MM, California
Aug 9, PB, Colorado
July 19, PB, California
July 9, PB, Ohio
June 27, MM, Texas
June 13, MM, Michigan
June 11, PB, Tennessee
May 20, MM, Pennsylvania
April 23, PB, Florida
April 4, MM, California
March 25, MM, New York
March 23, PB, Missouri
March 18, MM, Florida, Maryland
March 1, PB, California
Feb 20, PB, California
Jan 4, MM, Tennessee
That makes 16 jackpots this year. California with the highest population in the country (hint) has had 5 jackpots won.
Texas with the second highest population has had all of 1 jackpot won.
Tennessee has had 2 jackpots won.
Florida has had 2 (#4 in population)
Then you have Colorado, Michigan, Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York (3rd highest population) Missouri, with 1 jackpot.
There are other states that have winners also, but California by far has the most people and it happens to work out the most jackpots. Maybe next year Texas will have the most (I hope). But rigged? Then none of the other states that had winners would have any winners. Only California, and New York, and Texas...oooops, NY and Texas only has one each!

I bet all the NO votes are all california people.
I voted NO and I am from Indiana. Have you ever thought how slow the jackpot would grow if we removed California, New York, Florida, Texas all the big states. You would then be complaining that the games were to small.
When the new MM came out last year everyone said it would never be hit and many stopped playing. I for one jump in every draw and I feel more confident that the jackpot can be hit at any drawing.
If you want to boycott go ahead play your own state. But I will continue to play the MM and PB!

That is up to you if you want to throw your money away. The jackpot is slow to move as it is, I don't simply believe booting a couple states off MMs and PB will make much difference. Powerball is still just as slow to get up there, even with california joining it.

You know I have purchased tickets in California, Florida, Texas and I didn't win the jackpot from any of those three states.
And you are wrong ticket sales went up dramatically when California joined the Powerball. On the other hand I don't think we will even notice a ripple in the sales this week when Wyoming joins.
