    pickone4me and jjtheprince, take notice!

Here's a Californian with the winning numbers! Copy them! LOL

Looks like that claim fell throughLOLGreen laugh   Remember, I haven't played the MM or PB this year,  and still haven't.  Until the coincidences end,  only then I may play, but more then likely I won't.

I used a slip to fill in my numbers on the first line, I marked QP for the second line and then I check the "2 additional QuickPicks" box.

I didn't even match one number. I thought California always wins! I wonder what the conspiracy folks have to say about this.

I guess the Illuminati didn't think a $93 million jackpot was big enough to rig the drawing in California's favor....CA only gets the BIG jackpots!!!!  Crazy

Why does questioning things always equate to a conspiracy theory, or some dumb comment that has "tin foil" mentioned?

          Exactly! Thumbs Up

Uninquiring minds prefer to engage in appeals to ridicule and ad hominems, because they virtually always lack the ability to engage in intelligent argumentation/debate.

If you look at the history of lotteries and gambling in this country, the level of cheating/criminality is enormous. Lottery commission scandals are fairly common, with state governors/legislatures and law enforcement frequently having to step in. The computer age has made cheating/criminality that much easier.

I'm not claiming there's any conspiracy or wrongdoing regarding the current rash of California lottery victories, but I won't summarily dismiss the idea with appeals to ridicule, ad homs and hand waving.

You have gone above and beyond questioning. You have numerous posts where you equate the lottery as a form of socialism, a willful transfer of money from the other states to California. As if MUSL has some sort of hidden agenda. The fact of the matter is there is no rhyme or reason to who wins Powerball or Mega Millions. They are random and based on luck not some organisation pulling the strings.

No, it's NOT a fact. It's your opinion based on nothing more than an assumption.

Carrying on about tin foil hats is an appeal to ridicule - a fallacy in which ridicule is substituted for evidence and facts in an argument/debate.

This topic of California rigging the MUSL games to its favor will never end. Before California joined MUSL they (the predecessors of the 2014 theorists) accused New York of rigging it. One has to wonder how dumb NY lottery is to just give up the rigging formulas if the claims are true. I'd believe the claims of rigging if Nebraska were to win again and again. Or Wyoming. Or Massachusetts.

                That money's gone fo ever

If it truly is random,  and based on luck,  then some other state should win the jackpot, yes?  When it comes to big money like that,  I don't trust the people behind the curtain, whoever they maybe.

The lottery,  while it does seem like some form of socialism, is voluntary.

California knew the winning numbers last night but they chose to lose because the jackpot was smaller.  They'll use their good cheat codes once the jackpot gets nice and high to steal the win from Florida, New York, etc.

Surely you've heard? If you use a self-terminal, you can punch certain buttons in a particular sequence and it will print the winning numbers!

                            Green laugh

If the chances of winning the jackpot are so slim, why play when the jackpot is so small? Your chances never change, but the potential payoff does.
If a crystal ball showed you the future of the rest of your life, and in that future you will never win a jackpot, would you still play?

It's well-known that cheats are used I refuse to believe that so many people win this game fairly I would say maybe only 10% really win fair and square
