More of the Same.  I don't understand, if I can hit two positional digits almost every game playing P-4

why I can't hit 3 or 4?

RL

Why not use the 'POSITIONAL PAIRS' + CURRENT DRAW'  as your N in the format NPr,  let say your current draw is 1234, then the size of N is  pos. pairs(25)+current draw(1234)= 251234(size 5). 5P is 625 combo reduced to just 25 picks, you just filter your interested pair(Front pair in this workout)

{2,5,2,2} {2,5,2,5} {2,5,2,1} {2,5,2,3} {2,5,2,4} {2,5,5,2} {2,5,5,5} {2,5,5,1} {2,5,5,3} {2,5,5,4} {2,5,1,2} {2,5,1,5} {2,5,1,1} {2,5,1,3} {2,5,1,4} {2,5,3,2} {2,5,3,5} {2,5,3,1} {2,5,3,3} {2,5,3,4}{2,5,4,2} {2,5,4,5} {2,5,4,1} {2,5,4,3} {2,5,4,4}

If your prediction positional pairs is x25x, then go back original 625 and sieve out all picks with x25x>only 10 picks

{2,2,5,2} {2,2,5,5} {2,2,5,1} {2,2,5,3} {2,2,5,4} {1,2,5,2} {1,2,5,5} {1,2,5,1} {1,2,5,3} {1,2,5,4}.

If pairs is  2xx5, go back to original 5P4, sieve out all 2xx5 > 25 picks

 {2,2,2,5}  {2,2,5,5} {2,2,1,5}  {2,2,3,5}  {2,2,4,5} {2,5,2,5} {2,5,5,5} {2,5,1,5} {2,5,3,5} {2,5,4,5}  {2,1,2,5}  {2,1,5,5} {2,1,1,5}  {2,1,3,5} {2,1,4,5}  {2,3,2,5} {2,3,5,5}{2,3,1,5}{2,3,3,5}{2,3,4,5}  {2,4,2,5}  {2,4,5,5} {2,4,1,5}  {2,4,3,5}  {2,4,4,5}

NB> The binomial format is the greatest filter tool, is all where all the odds, probability, percentage calculations stems from, so why not use it.

    I never know the position of the pair until after the drawing.  This morning the wife played midday and

    had 4 lines.  She asked me to pick 1 set to fill out the bet slip.  Another positional pair hit but 2 digits are

    not much count.  I am ready to give up, I picked 2 lines for tonight and if they don't do better I am going

    to stop playing pick-4 and go back to the number games.  I figure if the method works it should hit on one

    line.   Looks like that is not going to happen.

      The thought just came to me, there are 6 pairs in a p-4 line.

      A+B

      A+C

      A+D

      B+C

      B+D

      C+D

      MO. offers a front-pair, mid-pair and back-pair $1.00 bet which pays $60.00.  If I bet on all 3 for $3.00 then I could

      be winning at least $57.00 most days.  Double or triple the bet and still play my one line, maybe it would pay off.

      Like I said before, I am new to these games and this option was never even considered.

        P.S.  However I did hit 10 of the 12 steps in the last attempt.  Maybe I should try a few more games.

          Don't give up yet, digit games are more fun , affordable and cost effective than large games, with your analytic skills, pinning just a front pair should not be hard, just focus your test on the the front pairs. Good luck.

          See this Thread, don't look at the large picks posted, but the concept or the assumption behind

            Using 1234

            6 pairs (with no digit repeat)>{1,2} {1,3} {1,4} {2,3} {2,4} {3,4}

            12 pairs(if order is a factor)>{1,2} {1,3} {1,4} {2,1} {2,3} {2,4} {3,1} {3,2} {3,4} {4,1} {4,2} {4,3}

            16 pairs(with a repeat digit)>{1,1} {1,2} {1,3} {1,4} {2,1} {2,2} {2,3} {2,4} {3,1} {3,2} {3,3} {3,4} {4,1} {4,2} {4,3} {4,4}

            You test these options , then talk about cost later, there's always a wiggle room with above options, I may select the 6 pairs, but may sieve only the front 23, likewise for others.

                  Go to bottom left of screen. Click mouse and type in search for snipping tool. Drag it off to the desktop. I use it a lot when I want to snip an image. You can also save it. I use it because its very simple to understand and use.

                      Hi all

                      Been brainstorming,  Lets say that I  play the 2ea front, mid and back pairs for 3 * 2 * $1.00 for $6.00 total.

                      A single pair pays $60.00 so 2*$60.00 = $120.00 - 6.00 = $114.00.  I play the pairs only until one hits.  When

                      a pair hits then the next day using my best pair I cover it with 100 lines for a str8 for $100.00.  This would leave

                      me $14.00 that I would use to play 4ea of the 3 pairs AB, BC and CD for $12.00 in the following game.  If my pair

                      hits on one of these plays then I win $240.00, 4*$60 which would fully fund two cover plays.  A worse case is,  I

                      would loose the $6.00 investment each time my 3 pair play dose not show but each str8 pair hit I am up $6,000.00.

                      Bottom line, $6.00 * 365 games = $2190 so 1 str8 hit per year would earn a profit.   I think I have a plan, let me

                      know what you think.

                        P.S. I could also hold off the cover play until the initial six dollar investments were covered which would remove all

                        risk capital after the first pair hit.  120 / 6 = 20 so as long as I can hit at least one pair every 20 games then it would

                        not cost anything out of pocket.  The only expense would be my time.

                          This is getting crazy, I hit another pair, just not a front, back, or mid, hit a end pair.

                          I changed one digit in the second line so I had to play two back pairs,

                          I had to laugh.
