On Tuesday, September 19th, 2006 someone won the Jack Pot is New York.  It was New York that someone, also, won $250,000.00.  They got all five numbers, but no Mega Ball.

Believe it or not, we are back to winning:

Since we have megaplied, our $2.00 equals $8.00, the Megaplier was 4X.

We now have $22.00 in our bank.

Now the Jack Pot stayed at $12 Million.   The estimated cash value of this jackpot is $7,025,760.

This group has 57 Members, with 64 shares being sold.

Here is the breakdown.  Remember this is an estimate only and it doesn't not take into account any attorney fee's, taxes, or tithes:

My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad

Three boys are in the school yard bragging about their fathers.

The first boy says, "My Dad scribbles a few words on a piece of paper, he calls it a poem, they give him $50."

The second boy says, "That's nothing. My Dad scribbles a few words on a piece of paper, he calls it a song, and they give him $100."

The third boy says, "I got you both beat. My Dad scribbles a few words on a piece of paper, he calls it a sermon...and it takes eight people to collect all the money!"

Our tickets are Megaplied, so our $3.00 win, turned in to $12.00.  You have two dollars in the Bank so the Cash on Hand is $14.00.

If I had been thinking I would have purchase you one more ticket for Friday Night's game.

Friday, September 15th, 2006 was worth $163 Million, Cash Option was $94,712,454.00.

On Friday you won nothing in the drawing, a first for us, since I started this game.  However, someone did win the Jack Pot in Georgia.

The following I copied from www.megamillions.com:

ONE MEGA MILLIONS TICKET WINS MEGA-JACKPOT ESTIMATED AT $163 MILLION! Ticket Purchased In Georgia Matches All Six Numbers

One ticket has won it all. Somewhere there is a ticket worth an estimated $163 million. That ticket, which was purchased in Bainbridge, Georgia, matched all six numbers in the September 15, 2006 Mega Millions drawing. The winning numbers were 06-26-33-39-55 and the Mega Ball number was 01.

I have lived in Georgia, but never heard of Bainbridge.

Now the Jack Pot is down to $12 Million.   The estimated cash value of this jackpot is $7,025,760.

This group has 57 Members, with 64 shares being sold.

Here is the breakdown.  Remember this is an estimate only and it doesn't not take into account any attorney fee's, taxes, or tithes:

In reality, $54,000.00 is a lot of money, but I liked type newsletters when that figure is over $1 Million.

So I think I will hold on to your $14.00 and continue to collect any winnings and extend this game for as long as I can.  We really only need one line to win (I just feel better when we have 50 or so).

I will try to hold off on starting the next game until I get a new member or someone who is rejoining us.

Right now I think I will set the next game for Friday October 6th, 2006.

Affairs

The First Affair

A married man was having an affair with his secretary. One day, their passions overcame them and they took off for her house, where they made passionate love all afternoon.

Exhausted from the wild sex, they fell asleep, awakening around 8:00 PM. As the man threw on his clothes, he told the woman to take his shoes outside and rub them through the grass and dirt. Mystified, she nonetheless complied. He slipped into his shoes and drove home.

"Where have you been?" demanded his wife when he entered the house.

"Darling, I can't lie to you. I've been having an affair with my secretary and we've been having sex all afternoon. J fell asleep and didn't wake up until
eight o'clock."

The wife glanced down at his shoes and said, "You lying bastard!

You've been playing golf!"

........................................................................

 The Second Affair

There was a middle-aged couple that had two stunningly beautiful Teenage daughters. The couple decided to try one last time for the son they always wanted.

After months of trying, the wife finally got pregnant and sure enough, delivered a healthy baby boy nine months later.  The joyful father rushed into the nursery to see his new son.

He took one look and was horrified to see the ugliest child he had ever seen. He went to his wife and told her there was no way he could be the father of that child. "Look at the two beautiful daughters I fathered!" Then he gave her a stern look and asked, "Have you been fooling around on me?"

The wife just smiled sweetly and said, "Not this time!"

..........................................................................

The Third Affair

A mortician was working late one night. It was his job to examine the dead bodies before they were sent off to be buried or cremated. As He examined the body of Mr. Schwartz, who was about to be cremated, he made an amazing discovery. Schwartz had the longest private part he had ever seen! "I'm sorry, Mr. Schwartz", said the mortician, "but I can't send you off to be cremated with a tremendously huge private part like this. It has to be saved for posterity."

With that, the coroner used his tools to remove the dead man's Scaling. He stuffed his prize into a briefcase and took it home. The first person he showed it to was his wife. "I have something to show you that you won't believe," he said, and opened up his briefcase. "Oh my God the wife screamed, "Schwartz is dead!"

..........................................................................

 The Fourth Affair

A woman was in bed with her lover when she heard her husband opening the front door. "Hurry," she said, "stand in the comer." Then she quickly rubbed baby oil all over him and then dusted him with talcum powder.

"Don't move until I tell you to," she whispered. "Just pretend you're a statue."

"What's this, honey?" the husband inquired as he entered the room.

"Oh it's a statue," she replied nonchalantly. "The Smith's bought one for their bedroom. I liked it so much; I got one for us too."

No more was said about the statue, not even later when they went to sleep.

Around two in the morning, the husband got out of bed, went to the kitchen and returned a while later with a sandwich and a glass of milk.

"Here," he said to the statue, "eat something. I stood like an idiot at the Smith's for three days and nobody offered me as much as a glass of water."

The Fifth Affair

A man walks into a nightclub one night He goes up to the bar and asks for a beer. "Certainly, Sir, that'll be 1 cent"

"One Cent?" exclaimed the man.

So the man glances over at the menu And asks, "Could I have a nice juicy T-bone steak, with chips, peas and a fried egg?"

"Certainly Sir," replies the barman, "but that comes to real money." "How much money?" inquires the man. "4 cents," the bartender replied.

"Four Cents?" exclaimed the man.

"Where's the guy who owns this place?"

The bartender replied, "Upstairs, with my wife." The man says,

What's he doing upstairs with your wife?" The bartender replied, "The same thing as I'm doing to his business."

The Sixth Affair

Jake was dying. His wife, Becky, was maintaining a candlelight vigil by his side. She held his fragile hand, tears running down her face.

Her praying roused him from his slumber. He looked up and his pale lips began to move slightly. "Becky my darling," he whispered.

"Hush my love," she said. "Rest, don't talk."

He was insistent "Becky," he said in his tired voice, "I have something that I must confess."

"There's nothing to confess," replied the weeping Becky, everything's all right, go to sleep."

"No, no I must die in peace, Becky, I, I, I slept with your sister, your best friend, her best friend and your mother!"

"I know my sweet one" whispered Becky, "let posion work."

In an article there were statistics about who buys tickets and so far.  Well it seems only about 5% of the America population buy lotto tickets.  Of that 5% only about 1% of them may play in a Lotto Pool.  Now here is the good news.  Of all Major Wins on Major Lottery Drawings, 80% is won by Lotto Pools.

That makes me feel good.  Makes is sound like we have better chance than the 1 in 175,711,536 odds we are facing.

For a group that doesn't have every Mega Ball you have won every week.

Now the strange thing is we have all these tickets and we have only won on two tickets.  So far all the Mega Balls have been even and we have every even Mega Ball.

As of yesterday, you have won $26 total.

On Friday, September 8th, 2006 you were in a drawing worth $114,000,000.00.  The estimated cash value of this jackpot is $66,549,894.

No one won the Jack Pot, so now in Tuesday's drawing the new Jack Pot is worth $135,000,000.00.  The estimated cash value of this jackpot is $78,809,085.00.

This group has 57 Members, with 64 shares being sold.

Here is the breakdown.  Remember this is an estimate only and it doesn't not take into account any attorney fee's, taxes, or tithes:

I took your $26 and spend $24 so you will have two lines until the Game ends.  I've attached an updated Mega Ball list for you, and it's attached to this e-mail or printed if you get paper copies.

Now Tuesday marks the sixth drawing of you ten drawings you have.  That means, next Friday is the halfway mark before the game ends.  Next Friday is also a payday for Citi Employees, so you may want to consider paying me your money for the shares you wish to purchase early.

Now I am usually off on Friday and Saturday's.  You can always give a Post Dated check, or give me your money anytime after payday.

Game 28 will start (win or lose of this game) on Tuesday October 3rd, 2006.  If I get any new members and the Jack Pot is high, I may launch the game on Friday September 29th, 2006 (same date your game is scheduled to end.

Pending Start Date is Friday September 29th or Tuesday October 3rd, 2006

A Synagogue's Custom

A young scholar from New York was invited to become Rabbi in a small old community in Chicago. On his very first Shabbat, a hot debate erupted as to whether one should or should not stand during the reading of the Ten Commandments.

The next day, the rabbi visited 98 year-old Mr. Katz in the nursing home. "Mr. Katz, I'm asking you, as the oldest member of the community," said the rabbi, "what is our synagogue's custom during the reading of the Ten Commandments?"

"Why do you ask?" asked Mr. Katz.

"Yesterday we read the Ten Commandments. Some people stood, some people sat. The ones standing started screaming at the ones sitting, telling them to stand up. The ones sitting started screaming at the ones standing, telling them to sit down... "

"That," said the old man, "is our custom."

Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.

The Friday, August 04, 2006 Mega Millions drawing has taken place, and the results are 2-24-31-50-55, and the Mega Ball is 44.

We won nothing, but someone in Maryland got $250,000.00.
We have only two more draws on our current ticket. But, we still have $2.00 in the bank. So I will extend this game so you will be in the drawing for Tuesday August 15th and Friday August 18th, 2006.

The Jack Pot for Tuesday, August 8th, 2006 is worth $15 Million. The estimated cash value of this jackpot is $8,630,610.

There are 45 Shares Issued in the Game:

Shares Purchased     Amount that you could win
2.5     $479,478.32
2     $383,582.66
1.5     $287,686.99
1     $191,791.33

So far no one has complaint or objected to me starting Game 27 on Tuesday August 22nd, 2006. (However, I will be buying the tickets on that Saturday before.)

I am please to announce that I only have only 5 people who have not paid. I think that 2 of those people will be paying before the next game starts. Right now, Game 27 has more people than Game 26 has.

I'm leaning towards making Game 27 a Megaply game, since the Jack Pot is so low.

Game 27 - Open $10.00 per share - Start date is Tuesday August 22nd, 2006.

Total     39 Members          $455.00     45.5 Shares

A family of moles had been hibernating all winter. One beautiful spring morning, they woke up. The father mole stuck his head out of the hole and looked around. "Mother Mole!" He called back down the hole. "Come up here! I smell honey, fresh made honey!" The mother mole ran up and squeezed in next to him. "That's not honey, that's maple syrup! I smell maple syrup!" The baby mole, still down in the hole, was sulking. "I can't smell anything down here but molasses ..."

Friday, July 28, 2006 11:49 pm - Mega Millions: The Friday, July 28, 2006 Mega Millions drawing has taken place, and the results are 2-13-23-32-35, and the Mega Ball is 4.

I told you in the last newsletter, "I noticed tonight that two of our lines have won several times the last 180 days, so I don't expect to win anything on the last 2 lines. But, the first line could me our lucky one; it has won nothing for 180 days."

Well this game makes a liar out of me all the time. We had a $2.00 win last night, and it was on line 2. We have the Bonus Ball 04.

The Jack Pot for Tuesday, August 1st, 2006 is worth $31 Million. The estimated cash value of this jackpot is $17,673,875.

You have $2.00 in your bank, and I will buy you one more line for two draws, after our ticket expires on Friday, July 11th, 2006.

Right now plan on Game 27 will starting on Tuesday August 15th, 2006. There is an outside chance that I could delay it one more time if the Jack Pot stays low. So plan on me buying tickets for Game 27 on Saturday August 12th, 2006. If you want to be in Game 27, you will need to have your money to me by Thursday August 10th, 2006.

FUNERAL PROCESSION:

A woman was leaving a convenience store with her morning coffee when she noticed a most unusual funeral procession approaching the nearby cemetery.

A long black hearse was followed by a second long black hearse about 50 feet behind the first one. Behind the second hearse was a solitary woman walking a pit bull on a leash. Behind her, a short distance back, were about 200 women walking single file.

The woman was so curious that she respectfully approached the
woman walking the dog and said, "I am so sorry for your loss, and I
know now is a bad time to disturb you, but I have never seen a funeral
like this.   Whose funeral is it?"

"My husband's."

What happened to him?"
The woman replied, "My dog attacked and killed him."

She inquired further, "Well, who is in the second hearse?"

The woman answered, "My mother-in-law. She was trying to help my husband when the dog turned on her."

A poignant and thoughtful moment of silence passed between
the two women.

"Can I borrow the dog?"

"Get in line."

A Woman's Prayer

Dear Lord,
I pray for:
Wisdom, To understand a man.
Love, To forgive him and;
Patience, For his moods.
Because, Lord, if I pray for Strength
I'll just beat him to death.

Our phone is now working and so is our DSL, so that means I once again have Internet Access and can do my updates. Unfortunately, I don't have much news.
The winning numbers on Tuesday, July 25th, 2006 were:

7/25/2006           7      21      24      41      51            10

Since we only have three lines I can easily check these at home on the computer. I noticed tonight that two of our lines have won several times the last 180 days, so I don't expect to win anything on the last 2 lines. But, the first line could me our lucky one; it has won nothing for 180 days.
The Jack Pot for Friday, July 28th, 2006 is worth $23 Million. The estimated cash value of this jackpot is $13,045,945.

There are 45 Shares Issued in the Game:

Shares Purchased     Amount that you could win
2.5     $724,774.70
2     $579,819.76
1.5     $434,864.82
1     $289,909.88

The game is due to end on Friday August 11th, 2006. Game 27 will start on Tuesday August 15th, 2006. However I will be buying tickets for that game on Saturday August 12th, 2006. If you want to be in Game 27, you will need to have your money to me by Thursday August 10th, 2006.

Mega Million Lottery Pool Game 26 Update

MEGA MILLION LOTTERY POOL - GAME 26

The 'L I T T L E' things .

As you might know, the head of a company survived 9/11 because his son started kindergarten.

Another fellow was alive because it was his turn to bring donuts.

One woman was late because her alarm clock didn't go off in time.

One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike because of an auto accident.

One of them missed his bus.

One spilled food on her clothes and had to take time to change.

One's car wouldn't start.

One went back to answer the telephone.

One had a child that dawdled and didn't get ready as soon as he should have.

One couldn't get a taxi.

The one that struck me was the man, who put on a new pair of shoes that morning, took the various means to get to work but before he got there, he developed a blister on his foot.

He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid.
That is why he is alive today.

Now when I am stuck in traffic, miss an elevator, turn back to answer a ringing telephone... all the little things that annoy me.

I think to myself, this is exactly where God wants me to be at this very moment.

Next time your morning seems to be going wrong, the children are slow getting dressed, you can't seem to find the car keys, you hit every traffic light, don't get mad or frustrated; God is at work watching over you.

May God continue to bless you with all those annoying little things and may you remember their possible purpose.

AMEN

No one won the Jack Pot on Tuesday July 4th, 2006, but we have every Mega Ball so I knew that we won the $2.00 you see below:

Matched     Prize     Date     Numbers Drawn (Mega Ball)
0 of 5 + BB      $ 2      7/4/2006      9 - 15 - 31 - 42 - 45 (41)    Megaplier 3X

There is another drawing tonight (Friday July 7th, 2006) and that one is worth: $22 Million - Cash Option is $12 Million

Friday, July 7, 2006

11:08 pm - Mega Millions: The Friday, July 07, 2006 Mega Millions drawing has taken place, and the results are 7-15-27-46-56, and the Mega Ball is 39.

Saturday, July 8, 2006

7:26 am - Mega Millions: There were no jackpot winners and no $250,000 winners in the Friday Mega Millions drawing.

The above information is from www.usamega.com. I can not believe no won any the $250,000.00 prize. I don't think that I've ever seen that before.

We didn't win big in Friday's drawing, but we won a little more than $2.00 that we normally win:

Matched     Prize     Date     Numbers Drawn (Mega Ball)
1 of 5 + BB      $ 3      7/7/2006      7 - 15 - 27 - 46 - 56 (39)    Megaplier 4X

That gives us $14.00 in the bank. We only have three more draws on our tickets. So that means we will win at least $6.00, which gives us at least $20.00 when the game is over. I'm uncertain as to how many draws I will extend this game.

I know for sure this game will extend at least two draws. This means Game 27 will not start until July 28th, 2006. But could start as late as Friday August 4th, 2006, that will all depend on how many new members and rejoins I get, and how much the Jack Pot is worth.

Now with that being said, I need to tell you that I've been called to Jury Duty for Friday July 14th, 2006. So I know that I will NOT be in the office that day. If I get selected for Jury Duty, then I may NOT be in the office the entire next week.

So you may want to bring your checkbooks in the office this week and give me a postdate check for the 15th of July, if you want to be in Game 27.
Our next drawing is on Tuesday, July 11th, 2006. That Jack Pot is worth $29 Million. The estimated cash value of this jackpot is:

$16,264,708

There are 45 Shares Issued in the Game:
Shares Purchased     Amount that you could win
2.5     $903,594.87
2     $722,875.90
1.5     $542,156.93
1     $361,437.95

Joke _ Jesus is watching you.

A burglar broke into a home and was looking around. He heard a soft voice say, "Jesus is watching you". Thinking it was just his imagination, he continued his search. Again the voice said "Jesus is watching you". He turned his flashlight around and saw a parrot in a cage. He asked the parrot if he was the one talking and the parrot said, "yes." He asked the parrot what his name was and the parrot said, "Moses." The burglar asked, "what kind of people would name a parrot Moses?" The parrot said, "the same kind of people who would name their pit bull Jesus".

Friday, June 23, 2006 11:08 pm - Mega Millions: The Friday, June 23, 2006 Mega Millions drawing has taken place, and the results are 13-17-24-34-56, and the Mega Ball is 24.

Saturday, June 24, 2006 3:14 am - Mega Millions: There was no jackpot winner in the Friday Mega Millions drawing, but 2 lucky players matched the first 5 numbers for a $250,000 prize: 1 from California and 1 from Virginia.

Because we have every Bonus Ball we got $2.00.
Matched     Prize     Date     Numbers Drawn (Mega Ball)
0 of 5 + BB      $ 2      6/23/2006      13 - 17 - 24 - 34 - 56 (24)    Megaplier 3X

I did not check our tickets at Kroger, because I've not been out of the house, so there is a remote chance we won more, but I mean really remote.
If we have, I will let you know in the next newsletter.

The good news is no one won the Jack Pot for yesterday so it rose to $23 Million. (Lotto Texas is $24 Million this evening.) The estimated cash value of this jackpot is $12,943,158.

There are 45 Shares Issued in the Game:
Shares Purchased     Amount that you could win
2.5     $719,064.32
2     $575,251.46
1.5     $431,438.59
1     $287,625.73

So we have won a total $13.00 so far. I've already spend $9.00 so you would have every Mega Ball. I will sit on our winnings until the Jack Pot gets higher.

I've not published the next game lists, because I've had a lot activity. I'm going to publish all of them today. So far I've not assigned start dates, because I'm not sure when they well actually start.

I noticed a large number of people have paid for the next game from this game. 12 in fact, that is like 1/3 of my current members. Here is what I would like to do:

If everyone would pay me by the 30th that wants to play in Game 27, I will just take out winnings moved all the money from Game 27 back into Game 26.

I would take the $450.00 that you paid in this game, add any winnings I've not spend, and renew Game 26.

I only have two members who paid for different shares in Game 27, one paid for 1.5 in this game, and paid for 1 share in Game 27. The other paid for 1 share in this game and paid for 1.5 in Game 27.

The money works out the same, but the shares are assigned differently. That is a minor problem and I can take care of, but when I only had 13 members, I could get 13 people to pay me early enough to do this in a past game. So, I doubt if I can extend Game 26.

I have 38 members in this game, and already 12 of them have paid. That means I would need to get 26 people to pay the same they paid for this game, and pay be by June 30th, 2006.

If that doesn't happen, then I will just recruit some new members.

Once upon a time there were three little bunny rabbits, Foot, Foot-Foot, and Foot-Foot-Foot, and they were outside playing. All of a sudden, Foot grabs his head and says, "I'm really sick. I think I'm gonna die."

So Foot-Foot and Foot-Foot-Foot run into the house and say, "Mama, come quick, Foot's sick and we think he's gonna die."

She says, "Foot-Foot and Foot-Foot-Foot, you go and get the doctor." So they go to the doctor and say, "Doctor, doctor, come quick. Foot's sick and we think he's gonna die."

Doctor says, "I'll be there as soon as I can."

Well, the doctor wasn't in time and Foot died, so they buried him. And Foot-Foot and Foot-Foot-Foot just sat around the house and moped.

Finally Mama says, "Foot-Foot and Foot-Foot-Foot you go outside and play. Foot's dead and that's all there is to it."

While they're outside playing, all of a sudden, Foot-Foot grabs his head and says, "Foot-Foot-Foot, I'm sick just like Foot was and I think I'm gonna die."

So Foot-Foot-Foot runs into the house and says, "Mama, come quick. Foot-Foot's sick just like Foot was and I think he's gonna die." She says, "Well, Foot-Foot-Foot, you run and go get the doctor." So Foot-Foot-Foot runs and gets the doctor and says, "Doctor, doctor, come quick. Foot-Foot's sick just like Foot was and we think he's gonna die." And the doctor says, "Well, I'll be there as soon as I can." And Foot-Foot-Foot says, "Well, you better be quicker than you were last time, because we've already got one Foot in the grave."

It takes only one drink to get me drunk. The trouble is, I can't remember if it's the thirteenth or the fourteenth.
George Burns (1896 - 1996)

Tuesday, June 20, 2006 Mega Millions drawing has taken place, and the results are 11-21-37-53-54, and the Mega Ball is 12. There was no jackpot winner in the Tuesday Mega Millions drawing, but 1 lucky player matched the first 5 numbers for a $250,000 prize: 1 from New York.

Because we have every Bonus Ball we got $2.00. And it's off one of the tickets we have already won on.

Matched     Prize     Date     Numbers Drawn (Mega Ball)
0 of 5 + BB      $ 2      6/20/2006      11 - 21 - 37 - 53 - 54 (12)    Megaplier 3X

I picked up on money today, didn't see any need in spending $2.00 with the Lottery being so low, and I would like to have more money to spend.
Tonight's drawing is worth $16 Million.

The estimated cash value of this jackpot is $9,039,552.
There are 45 Shares Issued in the Game:

Friday, June 16, 2006 11:03 pm - Mega Millions: The Friday, June 16, 2006 Mega Millions drawing has taken place, and the results are 27-30-36-38-45, and the Mega Ball is 13.

Saturday, June 17, 2006 3:14 am - Mega Millions Jackpot Winner! There was one $34 million jackpot winner from California in the Friday, June 16, 2006 Mega Millions drawing. More details to follow after the winner comes forward to claim their prize.

Also, 2 lucky players matched the first 5 numbers for a $250,000 prize: 1 from New York and 1 from Ohio.

We did win a little bit, only because we had almost every Mega Ball.
Matched     Prize     Date     Numbers Drawn (Mega Ball)
0 of 5 + BB      $ 2      6/16/2006      27 - 30 - 36 - 38 - 45 (13)    Megaplier 4X
3 of 5      $ 7      6/16/2006      27 - 30 - 36 - 38 - 45 (13)    Megaplier 4X

I went to Kroger to get our $9.00 and thought, since this game has nine more draws, and we don't have the Mega Ball "29" I would use it to purchase you one ticket for nine draws. Now through out the remainder of the game you have every Bonus Ball!

This means that you will win at least $2.00 in every drawing. I hope that you win more, but $4.00 at week is guaranteed!

I caught the bus down to Kroger with No Problem. However on the way back is another story: After getting your cash I got your $9.00 ticket. I was out of Cash Five and bought myself two lines. The money I have left over I purchase Lotto Texas and Mega Million for me. I always purchase annuity tickets, because I'm looking for a large income for the remainder of my life.
Well I had to do so shopping for Charley and I, and I thought the Bus was leaving at 3:59 P.M. So that gave me just over ½ hour to get my groceries, check out and then get out to the bus. Normally that is not hard.

I got almost everything we needed and then proceeded to check out, and I laid my wallet down next to the counter (don't ask me why).
I rushed outside to catch the bus, and was getting my groceries together when the bus came and she left. Drop off one passenger, saw me struggling with my groceries, and close the door and took off.

I was fuming. I saw down to wait for the next bus, which will be about 35 minutes (it's a good thing that I did not buy Ice Cream).
I looked down and saw a bright shinning penny heads up. Now, I'm superstitious and I never leave a penny, I always pick them up - Heads down or up.

So hear I am counting my blessing, I would have never found this penny if I had not missed the bus. I realized that I have a Power Ball ticket in tonight's drawing. My Die Hard Group Game VIII had one Power Ball ticket. I believe Ken went to Washington, D.C. to get Power Ball tickets for Die Hard Multi-Lottery Game IX. Oh, and I have several tickets in tonight's Lotto Texas drawing.

As I'm looking for my cigarettes, I realized that I have left my wallet inside Kroger. I rush to get in there, to get it.

I was blessed, but because the Cashier had it, and I was so relived. I opted to get myself a Coke and a Magazine; I still have a few minutes to wait for the bus. I used my Debt Card to pay for my purchases and get back $50.00 cash. I was going to need to buy more smokes tomorrow on the way to work.

I get back out to the bus stop only to realize that I left the $50 in the change slot - I never picked it up!

Now, I shoot back into the store to see if the Cashier still has it, or if no one has used #7 Self Service Machine. No such luck, the lady was getting off and new on was coming back on, and my $50 was gone.

Okay, so today has been a Cursed/Blessed/Blessed/Cursed day. When I first found the penny, I thought I might win the Lotto Texas and Power Ball tonight. I would have an income of $4,100,000.00 for 25 years, and then $3,300,000.00 for the remaining 5 years. I think I could manage.

Now, I'm not so sure. I do believe everything happens for a reason, so I choose to believe this: God had me miss the bus, so he could tell me that he is going to bless me by giving me the heads up Penny. I was blessed again by not losing my wallet. I blessed someone who needed $50.00 with $50.00.

Either I or one of my groups will win PowerBall. I may win Lotto Texas or may win just Cash Five.

I do know that I'm going to be blessed and I think this group will win one day. I hope that it's not Tuesday, but that this Jack Pot rolls and I can extend this game until it gets large, where all of us can have at least $1 Million.

That is my belief and I'm sticking to it.

If I'm wrong and we win on Tuesday Night, I will still be happy. Here is what we could win. The new Jack Pot for Tuesday June 20th, 2006, is $12 Million. The estimated cash value of this jackpot is $6,814,308
There are 45 Shares Issued in the Game:

Shares Purchased     Amount that you could win
        2.5                              $378.572.65
        2                              $302,858.12
        1.5                            $227,143.59
        1                   $151,429.06

Remember when I started this group late so you would have a better chance to win? Well, here is who won the last Mega Million.

NEW JERSEY MAN CLAIMS $47 MILLION MEGA MILLIONS JACKPOT

TRENTON, NJ - The New Jersey State Lottery today announced Raynald Holder as the winner of the $47 million jackpot from the MEGA MILLIONS drawing held on June 2. Mr. Holder came forward to stake his claim to one of the largest prizes in New Jersey Lottery history.

"Congratulations to Mr. Holder, our winner," said Michellene Davis, Esq., Executive Director of the New Jersey Lottery. "While he will undoubtedly receive the most publicity, it is important to note that he is just one of the winners today. From this Mega Millions jackpot roll alone, which began on May 19, New Jersey generated an estimated $400,000 in commissions for our lottery retailers and approximately $3.4 million in support of state programs. Mega Millions is truly a winning experience for everyone in the Garden State."

Mr. Holder selected the "Cash Option" and will receive $26,689,373 before the 25% federal withholding tax. Mr. Holder purchased his winning ticket at Krauszer's Food Store, 50 Bayard Street, in the City of New Brunswick, Middlesex County. His ticket was a natural selection and the winning numbers were: 3, 10, 18, 36 and 38. The Gold Mega Ball was 41.

According to Mr. Holder, these winning numbers for Mega Millions are the result of a combination of different birthdays of various family members.

"I feel very fortunate and blessed,'' said Mr. Holder. "I'm very happy that I will be able to help my nephews with their college plans, and take care of a number of things. I've always wanted to take care of my family."

"This prize ranks 14th among the largest, single-ticket wins in the New Jersey Lottery's 35-year history," noted Executive Director Davis, "We're all very pleased for Mr. Holder, and wish him continued happiness as one of New Jersey's newest millionaires."

Mega Millions member states include: New Jersey, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

                                               2004 Moron Awards

1. AT&T fired President John Walter after nine months, saying he lacked intellectual leadership. He received a $26 million severance package. Perhaps it's not Walter who's lacking intelligence.

2. WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM OUR FRIENDS: Police in Oakland, California spent two hours attempting to subdue a gunman who had barricaded himself inside his home. After firing ten tear gas canisters, officers discovered that the man was standing beside them in the police line, shouting, "Please come out and give yourself up."

3. WHAT WAS PLAN B??? An Illinois man, pretending to have a gun, kidnapped a motorist and forced him to drive to two different automated teller machines, wherein the kidnapper proceeded to withdraw money from his own bank accounts.

4. THE GETAWAY! A man walked into a Topeka, Kansas Kwik Stop, and asked for all the money in the cash drawer. Apparently, the take was too small, so he tied up the store clerk and worked the counter himself for three hours until police showed up and grabbed him.

5. DID I SAY THAT??? Police in Los Angeles had good luck with a robbery suspect who just wouldn't control himself during a lineup. When detectives asked each man in the lineup to repeat the words: "Give me all your money or I'll shoot," the man shouted, "That's not what I said!"

6. ARE WE COMMUNICATING?? A man spoke frantically into the phone, "My wife is pregnant and her contractions are only two minutes apart!" "Is this her first child?" the doctor asked. "No!" the man shouted, "This is her husband!"

7. NOT THE SHARPEST TOOL IN THE SHED!! In Modesto, California, Steven Richard King was arrested for trying to hold up a Bank of America branch without a weapon. King used a thumb and a finger to simulate a gun, but unfortunately, he failed to keep his hand in his pocket (hellllllooooooo!)

8. THE GRAND FINALE (I LOVE THIS ONE!!!) Last summer, on Lake Isabella, located in the high desert, an hour east of Bakersfield, California, some folks, new to boating, were having a problem. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't get their brand new 22ft boat going. It was very sluggish in almost very maneuver, no matter how much power was applied. After about an hour of trying to make it go, they putted to a nearby marina, thinking someone there could tell them what was wrong. A thorough topside check revealed everything in perfect working condition. The engine ran fine, the out drive went up and down, and the propeller was the correct size and pitch. So, one of the marina guys jumped in the water to check underneath. He came up choking on water, he was laughing so hard.

NOW REMEMBER...THIS IS TRUE..

Under the boat, still strapped securely in place, was the trailer!

Mega Million Lottery Pool - Game 26 - Welcome Letter

MEGA MILLION LOTTERY POOL - GAME 26

Welcome to the Mega Million Lottery Pool - Game 26. I have been running this pool for 27 months. (Game Four lasted for 2 months) We started out as seven people and back then every one just paid $10.00. I only did paper copies and I seldom did any newsletters. Newsletters started on the second half of Game Four.

This game contains 38 Members, but my members can purchase more than 1 share, so the shares sold in this game equates to 45. I collected $450.00 to spend in this game. And no, this is not my largest game.
We lost a lot of people from Game 25. I fired two people who can no longer play with us. I won't bring you down and give you all the details (I already did that with Game 25.) But, we have a smaller group and a much better group than Game 25.

How To Play Mega MillionsT
[I've copied this portion from www.txlottery.com]
Mega Millions is the multi-state game that Texans have come to love. Choose 5 numbers plus a Mega Ball number, and remember, when you buy, MegaplyT for a chance to increase your non-grand/jackpot prize winnings!
Mega Millions jackpots start at $12 million!
Second-tier prize amount is $250,000! If you play MegaplierT and a 4 is drawn, you could win $1,000,000!
There are 9 ways to win!
You can always ask your Texas Lottery retailer for a Quick Pick and the terminal will pick all your numbers for you!
Drawings are broadcast each Tuesday and Friday at 10:12 p.m. CST.
Pick 5 Numbers
Select 5 numbers from 1 to 56 in the upper white play area of the play board, or mark the "QP" box and the terminal will randomly select your 5 numbers.
Pick Your Mega Ball
Select 1 Mega Ball number from 1 to 46 in the lower yellow play area of the play board, or mark the "QP" box and the terminal will randomly select your 1 Mega Ball number.
When You Buy, Megaply!
Play the Megaplier feature for an extra $1.00 per playboard and you could increase your non-grand/jackpot prize winnings by 2, 3, or 4 times! Mark the "YES" box under "Megaplier" to select this feature for all play boards on the playslip. The Megaplier number will be chosen from a field of 21 numbers according to the following frequency: 12 number 4's, 7 number 3's and 2 number 2's. Any non-grand/jackpot prize you win on a Mega Millions play will be multiplied by the Megaplier number drawn if you have purchased the Megaplier feature. For example, if you win $250,000 on Mega Millions and the Megaplier number drawn is 4, you would win $1,000,000 ($250,000 x 4) if you purchased the Megaplier feature.
Multi Draw Option
For added convenience, you can play your numbers for up to 10 drawings. Mark the appropriate box under "Multi Draw." This will play your numbers indicated on play boards "A" through "E" for the number of drawings you select. Each play board costs $1 per drawing.

Grand/Jackpot Prize Payment Option
You must select at the time of purchase how you want to be paid if you win the grand/jackpot prize. Mark the "26 Annual Payments" box if you want to receive your prize in 26 annual installments. Mark the "Cash Value Option" box if you want to receive your prize in one single payment.
Note: If you win and you selected the "Cash Value Option," you will receive the net present value of your share of the grand/jackpot amount, determined the next business day after the drawing. This amount will be less than the advertised jackpot. You must select the "Cash Value Option" at the time of your purchase; otherwise, your share of the grand/jackpot prize will automatically be paid in 26 annual installments. Once you receive your ticket, you may not change your grand/jackpot payment option.

Included with this newsletter are rules for playing in this Pool. There are lots of people who run Lottery Pools; I'm not the only person. I can tell you that I talk with a lot of other people who run their pools much different than me, but all pools contain some basic elements.

When you play in a pool, you don't own any numbers, the pool owns the numbers. Any wins the pool splits the money among the members in accordance with what they paid.

Here is an example: You have 10 people all of them paid $10.00, and you go out and buy $100 dollars in Lotto Tickets. The Jack Pot is worth $100 Million, and you win on your fist draw.

The Pool now owns $100 Million, and each member gets $10 Million dollars for the $10 payment. That is every one's dream.

That is how it works, but I didn't tell you that you first have to have purchased the same numbers drawn. That is the hard part. This is a game of chance, so it's not easy getting the numbers that are drawn.

Some pools only play when the Lottery is at $25 Million or higher. Some pools only play for one draw. Most pools give out copies of the ticket the group has purchased and that is it.

I have found most pools are run sloppy and that is the reason they have so much trouble when they win.

I publish a membership list. The only way to play in my pool is to pay me at least $5.00 to purchase ½ share.

When we win, do not expect your money the next day. We will need to form a Trust Fund before signing the ticket, and then go to Austin, Texas to collect our funds. It takes four to six weeks for Austin to process our claim, so please don't spend any money until I tell you the Trust Fund has been funded.

The tickets you see here are NOT your tickets; they belong to the Mega Million Lottery Pool - Game 26.

Once I buy the tickets, I can't refund your money. But, if your one of he people who pay for future games, and you decide you no longer want to play, I will be glad to refund your money.

Now I hope you all enjoy playing, and you like to read newsletters. I hope all of you will continue to play with me. On each newsletter I will tell you how much the Cash Option is worth. (I only purchase Cash Option tickets for my Pools.)

After this first newsletter, you will see when the next game will start and who is in it. This is important, you need to have your money to me on or before the last date you can pay. If I don't get your money on or before that day, all I can do is either put you in the next game or refund your money.

Now the Cash Option is always an estimate, most likely your payout will be larger than I quote.

The games issues shares. Each share cost $10.00, and you can elect to purchase only ½ share. Your pay out will be in accordance to want you paid.
I get my Cash Option information from www.ohiolottery.com

Mega Million Lottery Pool Game 26 The Rules

Rules for playing in Mega Million Lottery Pool - Game 26

1. This is NOT an investment club, it's a Lottery Pool. Any money that is below $600.00 is picked up by me and I purchase more tickets for the group.

2. I purchased these tickets in Texas, so they must be redeemed in Texas. This is a multi-state lottery, so there are other claim centers in the United States. But, if the ticket is purchase in one state (Texas) it must be claimed in that state (Texas). Therefore I have to follow all the rules of Texas. You can check these rules at www.txlottery.org.

3. This game will start on Friday, June 16, 2006. The original tickets will expire after the drawing on Tuesday, July 18th, 2006. This contains every Mega Ball, except Mega Ball 29. 29 was the last Mega Ball drawn, so since I had to leave out one number, I elected to leave out 29.
I'm sure we will something starting today. So, I can't give you a definite date as to when the game will end. Normally, I will hold on winnings and spend them in $10.00 allotments. And I normally purchase 10 more draws, thus extending the game beyond the 10 draws originally quoted to you. But, as the Jack Pot grows you will see me spend more money in a shorter span.
The same numbers you play in first drawing will the same numbers you will have until the end of the game.

4. You should always get at least one update from me weekly. If you have e-mail that is how you will always hear from me. If you don't have an e-mail account, I will give you paper copies. (This does cost me, so there is a charge of $5.00 to receive paper copies.)

5. In the event we are lucky (blessed) enough to win the Jack Pot, do not expect to get your money the next day. It doesn't work that way. In Texas only one person (or entity) and signed the back of the ticket. Right now all we have is Mega Million Lottery Pool - Game 26 and that is not a legal entity. So if we win, please be patient with me as I get our ducks line up, I don't want to make any mistakes in collecting our money.

6. Texas is the only state that has the Megaplier. No ticket in this game has been Megaplied. Rather than start any game as a Megaplier game, I have elected to let any game be a mixed game. So on any winnings, I can and may purchase for you a Megaplied Ticket. Remember Megapling Tickets costs us twice as much.

7. The playing in the Lotto Pool is completely voluntary and optional. No one should feel like that "owe" me any money. It will cost you at least $5.00 to play in my pool, but you don't have to play the Lottery at all. Just because you are in Game 26, doesn't mean you have play with me in Game 27 or Game 28. I can NOT remind you of when your money is due. Because you don't owe me any money. Your newsletters tell every week when the next game is due. I do not penalize anyone for paying early. At the end of each update I will include the date you need to pay if you want to play again. I don't want to forget anyone when collecting dues, but neither do I want to be a "collector". I do that for a living now.

Faith never knows where it is being led, but it loves and knows the One who is leading. - Jim Elliot

Friday, May 19, 2006 11:04 pm - Mega Millions: The Friday, May 19, 2006 Mega Millions drawing has taken place, and the results are 5-12-31-51-56, and the Mega Ball is 1.

Saturday, May 20, 2006 3:14 am - Mega Millions: There was no jackpot winner in the Friday Mega Millions drawing, but 4 lucky players matched the first 5 numbers for a $250,000 prize: 1 from Georgia, 1 from New Jersey, 1 from New York, and 1 from Ohio.

I just got back from Kroger and we got zilch on our tickets. I mean we only have 54 tickets in this last drawing, which is not near enough to win even $2.00!

Okay, I'm being sarcastic, but realize I'm still suffering from our last defeat.

The Mega Millions jackpot for the drawing on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 is:
$18 million ($10 million cash option)

The Ohio Web Site (www.ohiolottery.com) gives us a slightly higher Cash Option, which we will use. There are 48 members in this game, with 54 shares being sold. The estimated cash value of this jackpot is $10,186,758

Shares Purchase     Amount you could win
2.5     $471,609.16
2     $377,287.33
1.5     $282,965.50
1     $188,643.66
.5     $94,321.83

If you want to be in Game 26, you will need to have your money to me on or before Thursday June 1st, 2006.

Mega Million Lottery Pool Game 25

GAME 25 OF MEGA MILLION LOTTERY POOL
SUBJECT:     7TH UPDATE
DATE:     5/20/2006

There are people who think that everything one does with a serious face is sensible. Georg Christoph Lichtenberg (1742 - 1799)

I took today as one of my off days, because I just knew that Game 25 was going to win. I'm not sure why, but I awoke at 3:00 a.m. And couldn't get back to sleep, so I thought I would check on our numbers. Here is the first thing I read:

Tuesday, May 16, 2006

11:06 pm - Mega Millions: The Tuesday, May 16, 2006 Mega Millions drawing has taken place, and the results are 7-24-40-48-50, and the Mega Ball is 15.

Then I read:
Wednesday, May 17, 2006

3:14 am - Mega Millions Jackpot Winner! There was one $94 million jackpot winner from Texas in the Tuesday, May 16, 2006 Mega Millions drawing. More details to follow after the winner comes forward to claim their prize.

Also, 10 lucky players matched the first 5 numbers for a $250,000 prize: 3 from California, 2 from Georgia, 1 from New Jersey, 1 from New York, 2 from Ohio, and 1 from Virginia.

Well, I knew that we had the Mega Ball at least twice, so we were in the running, and I was excited. Now before I peed my PJ's, I thought I should see WHERE in Texas the Jack Pot was won. If Dallas was the City, then I most likely would have peed and the passed out. So I checked the Texas Web Site to see where the Jack Pot was won.

The Web Site also told me whoever purchased this ticket in El Paso, Texas did it as a Quick Pick and chose the Cash Option Feature. (In Texas, you must select which you want when you buy and you CANNOT change your mind after winning.)

I went back to bed, where I've been most of the day. Someone other than my group win, this will trigger a Depression. But, I did take today off, so I could do a newsletter and I might as well pick up our money.

We actually had the Mega Ball 15 three times. So we did win some money.
Matched     Prize     Date     Numbers Drawn (Mega Ball)
1 of 5 + BB      $ 3      5/16/2006      7 - 24 - 40 - 48 - 50 (15)    Megaplier 4X
0 of 5 + BB      $ 2      5/16/2006      7 - 24 - 40 - 48 - 50 (15)    Megaplier 4X
1 of 5 + BB      $ 3      5/16/2006      7 - 24 - 40 - 48 - 50 (15)    Megaplier 4X

So we got $8.00, while someone in El Paso got the Jack Pot, and I would be my last dollar that he did NOT have as many tickets as this group had.
We already had $9.00 in the bank, now we have $17.00. Now my heart did not let me spend this money, and I'm not sure when I will. Most of our tickets will expire after the drawing on Friday June 2nd, 2006. This lets us with only five more draws on our tickets.

Okay, the news is out, you know that someone when in to a convenience store and purchase a Cash Option ticket that had the winning numbers. So the Jack Pot is back to $12 Million.

The Mega Millions jackpot for the drawing on Friday May 19th, 2006 is: $12 million ($7 million cash option)

The Ohio Web Site (www.ohiolottery.com) gives us a slightly lower Cash Option, which we will use. There are 48 members in this game, with 54 shares being sold. The estimated cash value of this jackpot is $6,711,408

Shares Purchase     Amount you could win
2.5     $310,713.32
2     $248,570.66
1.5     $186,428.00
1     $124,285.33
.5     $62,142.66

Now this Jack Pot's Cash Option never reached the $54 Million I needed to give each of my members $1 Million apiece. So I think what I may do is take your $17.00 after the drawing on Friday June 2nd, 2006 and purchase you one multi-draw ticket and make this game last a painfully long time.

Now I no longer have faith that we are going to win. But, in the event God has a different plan, I will continue to purchase lotto tickets. I will continue running this pool. I just can tell you that I have faith God is listening to my requests (or my needs for that matter).

But if you want to continue to play, you will need to have me your money to be no later than Thursday June 1st, 2006.

Joke 1
Little Tim was in the garden filling in a hole when his neighbor peered over the fence. Interested in what the cheeky-faced youngster was up to, he politely asked, "What are you up to there, Tim?"

"My goldfish died," replied Tim tearfully, without looking up, "and I've just buried him." The neighbor was concerned, "That's an awfully big hole for a goldfish, isn't it?"

Tim patted down the last heap of earth then replied, "That's because he's inside your stupid cat."

Joke 2
One night, a police officer was stalking out a particularly rowdy bar for possible violations of the driving under the influence laws. At closing time, he saw a fellow stumble out of the bar, trip on the curb, and try his keys on five different cars before he found his.

Then, sat in the front seat fumbling around with his keys for several minutes. Everyone left the bar and drove off. Finally, he started his engine and began to pull away.

The police officer was waiting for him. He stopped the driver, read him his rights and administered the Breathalyzer test. The results showed a reading of 0.0. The puzzled officer demanded to know how that could be. The driver replied, "Tonight, I'm the Designated Decoy."

Joke 3
A little girl asked her Mom, "Mom, may I take the dog for a walk around the
block?" Mom says, "No, because the dog is in heat." "What does that mean?" asked the child. "Go ask your father. I think he is in the garage."

The little girl went to the garage and asked "Dad, may I take Susie for a walk around the block? I asked Mom, but she said that Susie was in heat, and to come talk to you."

Dad said, " Bring Susie over here" He took a rag, soaked it with gasoline, and scrubbed the dog's rear-end with it and said, "Okay, you can go now, but keep Susie on the leash and only go one time around the block." The little girl left, and returned a few minutes later with NO DOG on the leash.

Dad asked, "Where is Susie?"

The little girl said, "She will be here in a minute, she ran out of gas about halfway down the block and another dog is pushing her home."
