You have 60 days from the date your winning ticket is validated and claimed to choose the cash or annuity option. If you don't choose an option within 60 days, your prize will be paid as an annuity. You know that I have PowerBall tickets now, and I’m excited.  But, I still haven’t gotten the tickets from my mother, so you are getting three more lines in this game, besides the ones you see here.

Believe it or not I a record number of people who purchased 2 shares this month.  I only had two people do ½ shares.  Calvin, a friend for work gave me $20.00 as a birthday gift to pay my share in the lottery pool.  I had already purchased two shares, but opted to go ahead and use his money now.  Now if we win, I will be delighted that I spend $45 in one month for this pool.

My birthday was Monday November 20^th, 2006, I turned 52.  Everyone tells me that I don’t look 52, which I am grateful.  But, I’m here to tell you that I feel 52.

Now, I want to apologize for my last newsletter.  I hurriedly through it together and was tired when I did it.  I was worried sick as to how to get your tickets to you, since my scanner was not working.  Well many of you know in Die Hard, Lotto Texas, and Mega Game 28 know I got it working.  So with this newsletter you will get your tickets.

But before I do anything else, remember I told you that one of our members, Jorge Flores, had a little girl?  I had left the important data at work and couldn’t remember.  But, it’s Sunday, and I went to work today, so here we go:

Alaina Flores is the daughter of Jorge Flores.  She was born November 7^th, 2006 at 9:57 a.m.  She weight 6 lbs and 07 oz.  This makes her a Scorpio/Dog.  She was born in Scorpio Sun Sign, and this is the year of the Dog (Chinese). 

If this group wins, I can say I created a Trust Fund Baby.  I gave Jorge this as Baby Gift.  Congratulations on the birth of your new daughter.

I feel better about this newsletter; it looks and feels like I normally do newsletters.  Remember Game 28 is playing as long as you, they have 3 numbers good for as long as you have tickets.

A collector of rare books ran into an acquaintance who told him he had just thrown away an old Bible that he found in a dusty, old box. He happened to mention that Guten-somebody-or-other had printed it.

I worked on my scanner and am now able to scan.  Okay it’s not the way I’m use to but it will work.  I no longer have to scan them into Word; I can now go back to my original format.  However, now I have to crop and resized each of the after I scan them.

2. I purchased these tickets in Texas, so they must be redeemed in Texas.  This is a multi-state lottery, so there are other claim centers in the United States.  But, if the ticket is purchase in one state (Texas) it must be claimed in that state (Texas).  Therefore I have to follow all the rules of Texas.  You can check these rules at www.txlottery.org.

3. This game will start on Friday November 25, 2006. The original tickets will expire after the drawing on December 26th, 2006.  The same numbers you play in first drawing will the same numbers you will have until the end of the game. 

4. You should always get at least one update from me weekly.  If you have e-mail that is how you will always hear from me.  If you don’t have an e-mail account, I will give you paper copies. (This does cost me, so there is a charge of $5.00 to receive paper copies.) 

5. In the event we are lucky (blessed) enough to win the Jack Pot, do not expect to get your money the next day.  It doesn’t work that way.  In Texas only one person (or entity) and signed the back of the ticket.  Right now all we have is Mega Million Lottery Pool – Game 29 and that is not a legal entity.  So if we win, please be patient with me as I get our ducks line up, I don’t want to make any mistakes in collecting our money.

6. Texas is the only state that has the Megaplier.  With Megapling our numbers we will always win 2, 3 or 4 times any win we have except the Jack Pot.  So if we should win say $40, and the Mega Ball is 4, we would win $160.00. I have elected to let any game be a mixed game.  So on any winnings, I can and may purchase for you a Megaplied Ticket or not.  Remember Megapling Tickets costs us twice as much.

7. The playing in the Lotto Pool is completely voluntary and optional.  No one should feel like that “owe” me any money.  It will cost you at least $5.00 to play in my pool, but you don’t have to play the Lottery at all.  Just because you are in Game 29, doesn’t mean you have play with me in Game 30 or Game 31.  I can NOT remind you of when your money is due.  Because you don’t owe me any money.  Your newsletters tell every week when the next game is due.  I do not penalize anyone for paying early.  At the end of each update I will include the date you need to pay if you want to play again.  I don’t want to forget anyone when collecting dues, but neither do I want to be a “collector”.  I do that for a living now.

Now Game 28 is playing right along with you.  They have 3 numbers in tonight’s game, with $4.00 in their bank.  This game could easily extend until after the 1^st of the year.

Game 28 collected $600.00 (60 Shares Sold) with 54 members.  In this game we only have 51 members but I collected $640.00 (64 Shares)

Now it appears that we have only lost 3 members, but that is not quite true.  I actually lost 11 people.  That means 43 of played in Game 28 and are playing again in Game 29.

I got 5 people who played with me before (rejoins).  I got 3 new people.

As I said the Megaplier was 4, so we won $16.00.  You had $48 in your bank, so now you have $64.

So I tried to figure out how to spend all you winnings with multi-draw tickets.  I’m not good with math at 9:45 a.m. standing at a counter at Kroger.  So I thought, “Hell with it, I will I just get 3 numbers for 10 draws and leave $4.00 in the bank.”

I really didn’t want to extend this game as long as my new game, but there is little choice now.

This game is now extended until Tuesday December 26^th, 2006.

That is not the end of it.  I accidentally forgot to check the Megaply box so my first ticket was only $30, not $60.00.

I told the clerk I would buy the $30 ticket myself, and checked the box for megaply and had her rerun it. 

I didn’t need nor want another Mega Millions ticket.  I only buy the 26 annual installments for myself.  The ticket I was forced to buy was a Cash Option.

Then I realized that my Die Hard game would need Mega Tickets, so sold the Cash Option $30.00 ticket to them.

Oh it gets worse.  I realized that I have spend so much money in PowerBall tickets for my Die Hard people that they may only open with 3 Mega tickets and PowerBall tickets.  (Okay, I will not bore you with this story; I will save it for my PowerBall members)

 After I get home this evening, I planned on typing this newsletter, answering some e-mail and then getting up early to go out and purchase Game 29 tickets tomorrow.  I have made no plans for Thanksgiving, because this is an all day project.

I got to scan both my tickets and our printer is not scanning.  I find that Adobe 7.0 has high jacked our printer.  Anything you want to do with scanner must go through Adobe.

When I scanned the tickets it would not save them as jpg, but in something I had never seen before.

I have tried to save this to any other format but it doesn’t work.

So for this round those of you who get this via e-mail will not get copies of your tickets.  (This will NOT affect those of you who get paper copies.)

Mega Millions Lottery Pool - Game 28
