Cash Five $10.00 Win

Friday, May 12, 2006

I went to Kroger today to pick up money on my Die Hard Multi-Lottery Club-they won on Cash Five. And I picked up my money; I had won $10.00 on Cash Five.

Well, after getting my cash I go over the Kiosk to buy my tickets, plus tickets for my Die Hard Multi-Lottery Club.

I may a practice of cleaning up the area before I take out any of my tickets. Lots of people leave the tickets on the counter. I make it a practice to recheck all the tickets they are tossing out, just in case they make a mistake and a ticket has won.

Well today someone had left a folded in half Cash Five ticket from March 27th, 2006. So I tried to check the ticket. The machine continues to give me the message "INVALID BAR CODE." This only means the machine can not read your ticket.

In most cases if you retry it, the Kiosk can pick up the numbers and then give you your results. It might take several tries, but it will eventually tell you if you won or not.

Well if finally worked and say, "Congratulations, you won, please take your ticket to the Service Center." I when ahead and purchased my tickets for myself and my Die Hard group, then when back over to the Service Center.

The ticket won $10.00!!!! I was shocked, someone had trown away a $10.00 Winning Cash Five ticket.

Chances are they thought "Invalid Bar Code" mean the ticket had no won anything.

Are They Back?

A male patient is lying in bed in the hospital, wearing an oxygen mask over his mouth and nose, still heavily sedated from a difficult, four hour, surgical procedure.

A young, student nurse appears to give him a partial sponge bath.

"Nurse", he mumbles, from behind the mask. "Are my testicles black?"

Embarrassed, the young nurse replies, "I don't know, Sir. I'm only here to wash your upper body and feet."

He struggles to ask again, "Nurse, are my testicles black?"

Concerned that he may elevate his vitals from worry about his testicles, she overcomes her embarrassment and sheepishly pulls back the covers.  She raises his gown, holds his penis in one hand and his testicles in the other.

Then, she takes a close look and says, "There's nothing wrong with them, Sir!"

The man pulls off his oxygen mask, smiles at her and says very slowly, Thank you very much. That was wonderful, but, listen very, very closely.....Are - my - test - results - back?

Justice

An honest man was being tailgated by a stressed out woman on a busy boulevard. Suddenly, the light turned yellow, just in front of him. He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.

The tailgating woman hit the roof, and the horn, screaming in frustration as she missed her chance to get through the intersection. As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer.

The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up. He took her to the police station where she was searched, finger printed, photographed, and placed in a holding cell. After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects.

He said, I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you, and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the 'Choose Life' license plate, the 'What Would Jesus Do?' bumper sticker, the 'Follow Me to Sunday-School' bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk. Naturally, I assumed you had stolen the car.

Today's Quote

Do not ask the Lord to guide your footsteps, if you are not willing to move your feet.

I’ve now been doing this for 22 months. I would have thought I would have won by now. Any day now, any day.

The Mega Million has really come a long way, from the first seven members. And since that first game, we have NOT missed a drawing.

This group has 24 members, not my largest group, but much larger than other groups playing in the United States.

I sold 35 shares in this game. In Game 20, I first allow people to purchase ½ shares. I continued this practice in this game, in hopes that those who could not afford $10.00 could afford $5.00.

Game 20 (which is still playing) had 25 people in their pool. Most of the folks, in this pool, come to me from the previous game. I did lose some people.

I was able to get three new members.

Whenever you leave, you generally come back. I had four rejoins.

I have 18 people who came with me from Game 20. Most of these people have been with me a long long time, so I have stopped putting on these first newsletters the rules of the game. I have a separate attachment for the new people and anyone who wants to refresh their memory.

I attached a Membership List with the first newsletter. You can see who you’re playing with and how many shares each person purchase. While I have only 24 people in the club, there are 35 shares issued.

The Mega Million is played on Tuesday and Friday’s. You will always get at least one update a week from me, mostly on Saturday. My members will tell you I make an effort to send out a newsletter after each drawing--win or lose.

You can always pay in advance for any of the games in the future. I will always have a list at the end of my newsletters telling you about the next game and who’s in it.

Newsletters usually don’t take that long to do, but sometimes I do get windy and have things to tell you. Starting a new Game is always a hassle and it’s an all day project. I’m starting to do some things differently to save myself sometime.

So the membership list you get for this game as an attachment will be my new format for the next game membership. Right now I keep a Notepad in Yahoo to keep track of my members. Then like today I type up list. Going forward I will begin to do the next game list as a word document and just attach to my e-mails.

Now with this group I’ve done something different. You will still get your tickets (I have already scanned all of them), but you will also get a Number List for all our numbers in order of the Mega Ball. This will be an easy reference for those of you would check our tickets.

It, also, has another purpose. Whenever you buy Quick Picks you end up with lots of duplicate Mega Balls and some none at all. In past games I have manipulate the Mega Balls so we would have all the Even Balls or all the Odd Balls. Now, I have try everyway imaginable to figure out a way to win this damn Jack Pot. You simply can’t do it, the only thing you can do is better your odds. Since you are now in a large pool you have 35 numbers you will be playing for 10 straight draws. This is $350 dollars worth of tickets. So right off you have improved your odds of winning.

These tickets are all Quick Picks and we have done better than most other times. We only have 06, 43, 44 duplicated twice. The number 30 you have three times! But we don’t have 01, 04, 07, 10, 16, 19, 21, 23, 25, 26, 29, 33, 34, 37, 40, and 41.

So with any winnings I may use numbers we have had in previous games, or just manipulate the picking of the Mega Ball. I don’t see any reason we could not have all the Mega Balls on our last draw.

Okay in tonight’s drawing: The Jack Pot is worth $43 Million. Remember in this group we only play Cash Option. I have found that the Ohio Lottery Web Site gives you the most current Cash Option amount, so that will be where I get my info from. You can always check it yourself by going to www.ohiolottery.com

The Cash Option in tonight’s drawing is:

$25,458,838

That means each share would get $727,395.37. The chart below shows you want you win by the shares you purchased.

Number of Shares

Amount Won

One Half

$363.697.68

One

$737,395.37

Two

$1,474.790.74

Two and One Half

$1,843,488.42

Three and One Half

$2,545,883.79

Okay I won’t make you read anymore. The drawing is in a few hours and I still need to proof read, print and e-mail this out. I have a lot of attachments with this first e-mail, so you could get more than one e-mail from me. The good news is that most of you are getting this as an e-mail, and I only have to print 3 copies! (That is great news for me.)

In future updates you will get you Joke and The Next Game notice here.

Good Luck,

Michael

Die Hard Multi-Lottery Pool Game V

Die Hard Multi-Lottery Game V

The important thing is to learn a lesson every time you lose.

- John McEnroe

Cash Five

I’m sad to report we had run out of Cash Five tickets. Unless we win something else this game will have no more Cash Five tickets.

Texas Two-Step

Okay I told you wrong in the last newsletter. I told you we were down to one ticket in this game, but I found that we still have two tickets. Both tickets expired after the drawing on Thursday November 3rd, 2005.

The next drawing is on Monday October 31st, 2005. And that Jack Pot is now worth $225,000.00.

There are nine of us playing in Game V. That means each of us would get $25,000.00, this is before any attorney fee’s, taxes or tithes.

Lotto Texas

We are out of tickets for this game. Remember I only purchased one and that was for one night only. Needless to say we didn’t win the $9 Million with that ticket.

As you know I spent most of our winnings in this game. We have two tickets that are good until Tuesday November 1st, 2005.

Mega Million

The Cash Option for this game is worth $97 Million. With only 9 of us in this game (and all of you are in Mega Million Game 19, too!) each of us would get:

$10,777,777.77

After Tuesday drawing this game will be down until only two tickets in Texas Two-Step.

We did lose one member. I have 8 of us who paid their dues for September. I only have three people who have paid for October.

Remember in this game your $10.00 is due on the 30th of each month. If you want to continue in this game, you will need to have $10.00 to me by October 30th, 2005.

I don’t overlap Die Hard games, so Game VI can only start when all tickets in Game V expires.

Our last ticket will expire on November 3rd, 2005. That means that I will start Die-Hard VI will start their game on November 4th, 2005.

That gives me plenty of time to canvass for new members. Their may not be any more than six of us playing in the next game. To keep things fair any new member would have to pay $20.00 to join. (Sept and October dues).

On November 4th, I will use all the money I’ve collected for September and October to start Game VI. So if you want to play in the next game, be sure to have me your October dues no later than October 30th, 2005. (Since I’m off that day you should be paying me out of your October 15th, paycheck.)

I’m e-mailing a friend of mine in Oklahoma. I will see if I can entice her to join our group, because I would like to start including Power Ball in this game.

Oklahoma is joining Power Ball in either December 2005 or January 2006. I’m going to see if Trudy would be willing to buy our Power Ball tickets for us.

So get ready for Game VI.

Now if there are no wins on the remaining tickets in this game, I will be buying tickets for Die Hard Game VI on Friday November 4th, 2005. At this time I don’t know what tickets I will be buying. If the Jack Pot is huge I may be inclined to buy only Mega Million tickets.

If you would like to continue playing in Die Hard, you will need to be sure that you have paid September and October dues. Eight of you have already paid for September. But only three people have paid for October.

Now if everyone pays up their dues, I will not start game VI, but will go ahead and continue Game V. That means one person would need to pay $20.00 to continue. And six people would need to pay their $10.00.

The last day that I can accept money on Game V or the beginning of Game VI is Thursday November 3rd, 2005.

Now in the event that some of you do not pay October Dues, but have paid September dues, I will put your money into Mega Million Game 20, if you have not already paid for that game. Game 20 is my Megaply Game and the cost of each share of that group is $20.00.

I have already accepted ½ shares in this game for people who only wanted to pay $10.00. So you will show in Game 20 for ½ share.

I will refund anyone their September dues that don’t pay October dues.

Today's Quote

Friday, October 28, 2005 11:04 pm - Mega Millions: The Friday, October 28, 2005 Mega Millions drawing has taken place, and the results are:

8-17-25-28-53 and the Mega Ball is 1.

Saturday, October 29, 2005 2:09 am - Mega Millions: There was no jackpot winner in the Friday Mega Millions drawing, but 7 lucky players matched the first 5 numbers for a $250,000 prize: 2 from Michigan, 3 from New York, and 2 from Texas.

We were not one of the two from Texas. In fact, again, once again we had no wins. I am really upset that we spend $100.00 on one ticket so we could megaply it – And we haven’t hit once on this ticket. NOT ONE TIME!

The Mega Millions jackpot for the drawing on Tuesday, November 1, 2005 is:

$165 million ($97 million cash option)

There are 30 shares issued in this game. If we are a winner in tonight’s drawing each share would get

$3,233,333.33

We only have three more draws on this game. That is not quite true, we still have on only win on one ticket good until after the drawing on November 15th, 2005.

I can only concluded two things. 1) God has not wanted us to win. 2) Or he is making the Jack Pot bigger so we all will be blessed on the last draw with the biggest Jack Pot ever!

You must know that I’m leaning towards reason number two.

Pumpkin Legend

The carved jack-o'-lantern dates back to medieval Ireland. The legend involves an Irishman named Jack who was too stingy to go to heaven and too mischievous to go to hell. Jack had to wander the Earth until Judgment Day with a lantern made from a hollowed-out turnip with a live coal inside. Children started making these lanterns on Halloween, and in the New World they switched from turnips to pumpkins.

October 30 -- Daylight Saving Time ends at 2:00 A.M.

Daylight Saving Time was first observed in the United States during World War I and then again during World War II. The time change was enacted to provide more light in the evening hours. Since 1987, Daylight Saving Time has begun at 2:00 A.M. on the first Sunday in April and has ended at 2:00 A.M. on the last Sunday in October.

October 31 -- Halloween (All Hallows' Eve)

This day was known as Samhain to the ancient Celts -- the death night of the old year.

November 1 -- All Saints' Day or Hallowmas

This is the day when all the saints are honored, especially those who do not have a day of their own. The idea probably began in the fourth century as a way to honor Christian martyrs whose names were unknown. In an attempt to replace the popular pagan festival of the dead Samhain, the church moved the celebration of All Saints' to November 1.

If you want to play in Game 20, you should go ahead and pay as soon as possible to be sure I have you money before Game 20 starts.

And now for you Halloween Joke:

A cabbie picks up a Nun. She gets into the cab, and notices the very handsome cab driver won't stop staring at her. She asks him why he is staring. He replies: "I have a question to ask you, but I don’t want to offend you"

She answers, "My son, you cannot offend me. When you're as old as I am and have been a nun as long as I have, you get a chance to see and hear just about everything. I'm sure that there's nothing you could say or ask that I would find offensive."

"Well, I've always had a fantasy to have a nun kiss me."

She responds, "Well, let's see what we can do about that: Number one, you have to be single and number two, you must be Catholic."

The cab driver is very excited and says, "Yes, I'm single and Catholic!

"OK" the nun says. "Pull into the next alley." The nun fulfills his fantasy with a kiss that would make a hooker blush. But when they get back on the road, the cab driver starts crying.

"My dear child," said the nun, "why are you crying?"

"Forgive me but I have sinned. I lied and I must confess, I'm married and I'm Jewish."

The nun says, "That's OK. My name is Kevin and I'm going to a Halloween party."

The Tuesday, October 25, 2005 Mega Millions drawing has taken place, and the results are 7-12-18-31-55, and the Mega Ball is 30.

I know that there were five tickets that had all five numbers winning $250,000.00. One was in Texas. It was not us. And again, I must tell you that we had no wins in this last drawing.

The Mega Millions jackpot for the drawing on Friday, October 28, 2005 is:
$147 million ($87 million cash option)

There are 30 shares issued in this game. If we are a winner in tonight’s drawing each share would get $2,900,000.00.

We are over half way thru with this game. We completed our 6th draw on this last Tuesday. With tonight’s drawing included, we are down to 4 more drawings. If I’m not mistaken this is the third week straight that we have had no wins.

I remember vividly of playing Game IV. That game had no wins 9 of their 10 draws. On the last drawing (10th) they won $150.00. I think I had 17 people in that game, so I was able to extend the game for another 10 draws with 15 tickets.

I told you that story for reason, so I could tell you this story: Game 20 is going on as planned. I had asked everyone if they wanted me to extend the game to the 15th of November, because that is the date of our last ticket.

Now if we should win, I plan to buy tickets only up to and including Tuesday November 15th, 2005. If there are no wins in tonight’s drawing, I am leaning towards going on and starting Game 20 right after the drawing on Tuesday November 8th, 2005.

If I should get any new members (which right now I have none), then I would need to start the game Friday November 11th, 2005.

If someone wins the Jack Pot tonight or next Tuesday and I have no new members, then the game could start on Friday November 18th, 2005.

If you want to play in Game 20, you should go ahead and pay as soon as possible to be sure I have you money before Game 20 starts.

Don't you just love little old ladies?

There was a preacher whose wife was expecting a baby. The preacher went to the congregation and asked for a raise. After much consideration and discussion, they passed a rule that whenever the preacher's family expanded, so would his paycheck.

After six children, this started to get expensive and the congregation decided to hold another meeting to discuss the preacher's salary...

There was much yelling and bickering about how much the clergyman's additional children were costing the church. Finally, the preacher got up and spoke to the crowd. "Having children is an act of God!" Silence fell upon the congregation. No one dared to challenge that thought.

In the back of the room, a little old lady stood up, and in her frail voice said: "Snow and rain are also acts of God, but when we get too much, we wear rubbers!"

Don't you just love little old ladies?

Friday, October 21, 2005 11:06 pm - Mega Millions: The Mega Millions drawing has taken place, and the results are

11-17-28-29-36, and the Mega Ball is 42.

Saturday, October 22, 2005 2:14 am - Mega Millions: There was no jackpot winner in the Friday Mega Millions drawing, but 9 lucky players matched the first 5 numbers for a $250,000 prize: 2 from California, 1 from Michigan, 1 from New Jersey, 3 from New York, 1 from Ohio and 1 from Texas.

And we are not the ones who won something in Texas. We didn’t even get the Bonus Ball.

The Mega Millions jackpot for the drawing on Tuesday, October 25, 2005 is:

$128 million ($76 million cash option)

There are 30 shares issued in this game. If we are a winner on Tuesday Night each share would get:

$2,533,333

We are half way thru with this game. We just completed our 5th drawing and we have 5 more drawings to go. And, I’m truly sorry we have won something in these last two drawings.

Mega Million Lottery Pool Game #20

(Tentative Start Date: Tuesday 11/07/2005)

This game we will be megaplying! The cost is $20.00 per share.

A Bear and an Atheist

An atheist was taking a walk through the woods.

What majestic trees! What powerful rivers! What beautiful animals!" he said to himself.

As he was walking alongside the river he heard a rustling in the bushes behind him. He turned to look. He saw a 7-foot grizzly charge towards him. He ran as fast as he could up the path. He looked over his shoulder and saw that the bear was closing in on him.

He looked over his shoulder again, and the bear was even closer.

He tripped and fell on the ground. He rolled over to pick himself up but saw the bear right on top of him, reaching for him with his left paw and raising his right paw to strike him.

At that instant the Atheist cried out: "Oh my God!..."

Time stopped.

The bear froze.

The forest was silent.

As a bright light shone upon the man, a voice came out of the sky:

You deny my existence for all of these years, teach others I don't exist, and even credit creation to a cosmic accident. Do you expect me to help you out of this predicament? Am I to count you as a believer?"

The atheist looked directly into the light, "It would be hypocritical of me to suddenly ask You to treat me as a Christian now, but perhaps could you make the BEAR a Christian?"

"Very well," said the voice.

The light went out. The sounds of the forest resumed.

And then the bear dropped his right paw, brought both paws together and bowed his head and spoke: "Lord, bless this food, which I am about to receive from thy bounty through Christ our Lord. Amen."

Today's Quote

He does not believe who does not live according to his belief.

-Thomas Fuller

Cash Five

I’m sad to report we had run out of Cash Five tickets. Unless we win something else this game will have no more Cash Five tickets.

Texas Two-Step

We are down to one ticket in the Texas Two-Step Game. However we did win again in this area.

1 of 4 + BB

$ 7

10/20/2005

2 - 22 - 28 - 33 (16)

So with the $10.00 I had from Cash Five and last night’s seven, we have $17.00. I didn’t buy anymore Texas Two Step tickets.

The next game is held on Monday October 24th, 2005. And it’s for $325,000.00. If this group wins, we collect $36,111.11 each. That is before any attorney fee’s, taxes or tithes.

Our only ticket expires on Thursday November 3rd, 2005.

Lotto Texas

We now have one ticket in Lotto Texas. That ticket is good for one drawing, which is Saturday October 22nd, 2005.

It’s worth $9 Million, with Cash Option being $4,500,000.00. With 9 of us playing, we each should get $500,000.00 each. (That is only an estimate.) And that figure is before any Attorney fee’s, taxes or tithes. But, it’s enough to pay off my back taxes, so I’m willing to settle for this amount.

Mega Millions

We normally don’t get Mega Million in this game. We can, because it’s a Texas Game, and we handle all Texas Games. But, since I run a Mega Million Lottery Pool, I rarely ever purchase this game for this group.

We had $17.00 to spend, and this game is coming to a close. I did lose one Member and since I don’t overlap Die Hard games, this will need to expire before I can start Die Hard VI.

But, I wanted us to go out with a bang. I spend $1.00 in Lotto Texas; the last $16.00 was spent in this game.

You have two numbers, both numbers are Megaply! And your ticket is good in tonight’s drawing and all Mega Million drawing up to and including the game on Tuesday November 1st, 2005. (I did that because our last ticket in this game is Texas Two-Step on November 3rd, 2005 and I didn’t want to continue extending this game.)

We did lose one member. I have 8 of us who paid their dues for September. I only have two people who have paid for October.

This game now has $0.00 cash in it. I’ve spend all your winning on more tickets. If we have no more wins, the on Friday October 4th, 2005 Game VI will start.

Your tickets are attached on a separate page, or if you get this as an e-mail, it will be attached to your e-mail.

Friday, October 14, 2005 11:04 pm - Mega Millions: The Friday, October 14, 2005 Mega Millions drawing has taken place, and the results are 6-20-24-25-34, and the Mega Ball is 44.

Saturday, October 15, 2005 2:01 am - Mega Millions: There was no jackpot winner in the Friday Mega Millions drawing, but 2 lucky players matched the first 5 numbers for a $250,000 prize: 2 from Georgia.

We won a Total of Six Dollars!

10/14/2005

6 - 20 - 24 - 25 - 34 (44) Megaplier 3X

This group still has $3.00; I’ve not purchased any tickets. So with your current winnings of $6.00, your total now is $9.00.

The Mega Millions jackpot for the drawing on Tuesday,

October 18, 2005 is:

$90 million ($53 million cash option)

There are 30 shares issued in this game. If we are a winner on Tuesday Night each share would get:

$1,766,666.66

I spend your $9.00 for another Quick Pick Ticket. It’s copied at the end of this newsletter, or if you get e-mail as a separated attachment.

This means that you now have 26 tickets for each drawing until after the drawing on Tuesday, November 8th, 2005. Then you will have one number until Tuesday November 15th, 2005.

Now, I didn’t intentionally extend this game. I was at Kroger and had a lot to do, plus catch the next bus home. I thought we had only won $4.00, so was surprised we had won $6.00. By the way, if we had won this on our Megaply tickets we would have won $18.00! But so far our Megaply Ticket has won zero dollars!

So now, with any winnings I will buy tickets up to November 15th, 2005.

As of right now, I have no new members for Game 20, and I’ve not issued any flyers for this game. So, I can hold off Game 20 until after the 15th, if you all want.

Of course, by the time you e-mail me, or tell me what you want to do, things could change. The Lottery could double, or I could get a slew of new members. So right now I will leave the tentative start date for Game 20, alone.

Mega Million Lottery Pool Game #20

(Tentative Start Date: Tuesday 11/07/2005)

This game we will be megaplying! The cost is $20.00 per share.

The Powerball jackpot for the drawing on Saturday, October 15, 2005 is: $290 million ($141.9 million cash option). I wish that I had a way of buying Powerball tickets for you all. I know my Die-Hard Group would love to have Powerball tickets. I understand that Oklahoma is joining Powerball either in December of this year of January of the next year.

Choose wisely. (Political)

A powerful senator dies after a prolonged illness. His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance.

"Welcome to Heaven," says St. Peter. "Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see, so we're not sure what to do with you."

"No problem, just let me in," says the guy.

"Well, I'd like to but I have orders from higher up. What we'll do is have you spend one day in Hell and one in Heaven. Then you can choose where to spend eternity."

"Really, I've made up my mind. I want to be in heaven," says the senator. "I'm sorry but we have our rules."

And with that, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to Hell. The doors open and he finds himself in the middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a club and standing in front of it are all his friends and other politicians who had worked with him, everyone is very happy and in evening attire. They run to greet him, hug him, and reminisce about the good times they had while getting rich at the expense of the people. They play a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster and caviar.

Also present is the Devil, who really is a very friendly guy who has a good time dancing and telling jokes. They are having such a good time that before he realizes it, it is time to go. Everyone gives him a big hug and waves while the elevator rises.

The elevator goes up, up, up and the door reopens on Heaven where St. Peter is waiting for him. "Now it's time to visit Heaven."

So 24 hours pass with the head of state joining a group of contented souls moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns.

"Well then, you've spent a day in Hell and another in Heaven. Now choose your eternity."

He reflects for a minute, then the senator answers, "Well, I would never have said it, I mean Heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be better off in Hell."

So St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to Hell.

Now the doors of the elevator open and he is in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and garbage. He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it in black bags. The Devil comes over to him and lays his arm on his neck. "I don't understand," stammers the senator.

"Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and club and we ate lobster and caviar and danced and had a great time. Now all there is, a wasteland full of garbage and my friends look miserable.

The Devil looks at him, smiles and says, "Yesterday we were campaigning...Today you voted for us!"

Die Hard Multi-Lottery Pool Game V

Die Hard Multi-Lottery Pool - Game V

This game has started on Labor Day, September 5th, 2005.  Even though this game is almost as old as my Mega Million game, it's played differently.

This game started with only seven people, and I've had as many as 12.  But once a game starts, it doesn't stop until some drops out.  Every player pays me $10.00 per month by the 30th of the month.

We play Cash Five, Texas Two-Step and Lotto Texas.  Because Cash Five can generate so much Cash, these games always last longer than Mega.  Even if someone drops out, I don't start a new game until the current game plays out. (No overlapping of games.)

Right now, I have collected $70.00 for the month of September, and $20.00 for the month of October.  I think I'm losing two players--At least.

We have tickets until November 3rd, and I've told my members that I will begin to canvass for new members.  But, all new members will need to start with $20.00.  Everyone who has paid their September and October Dues, will be part of Die Hard VI!

Right now with the Lotto Texas being so low, I haven't much interest.  But the minute the Jack Pot hits $30 Million everyone will want to pay.  But, by then this game will be closed for new members.

The Mega Millions jackpot for the drawing on Friday, October 14, 2005 is:

There are 30 shares issued in this game. That means if we are so lucky to win on Friday’s drawing, each share would get:

Sidney is surprised. "You mean I can tape Yom Kippur?"

Quick & Dirty Lottery Pool

This last Thursday, a member from my Mega Million Lottery Pool, requested we do one of those Quick & Dirty Pools.  You know the ones, every one pitchs in $5.00 and we go out and buy tickets for One Night Only

I will always play in those pools, but have never run one myself.  There not hard, but getting every one their numbers before the drawing is hard to do.

We had seven people play and each of us put in $5.00, so we had 35 numbers.  We ended up winning $2.00, with the Mega Ball 11.  Can you belive $2.00?

The Mega Ball 11 had just come up less than two months ago, so I was surprise we won it on that one.

I did go out today and purchase this small group $2.00 in tickets all for Tuesday Night's drawing.  Who knows, we could win on one of those two tickets.
