Won $13.00 on first draw

Tuesday May 31st, 2005

On our firs draw my group won $13.00.  I've starting buying the odd numbers now.  We only buy multi-draw tickets, so almost all of our tickets are good until June 21st.  I am hoping we win before California comes on board.

Mega Million Lottery Pool #15

I started the Mega Million Lottery Pool Game 15. We have been playing for 16 months now. Game 15 is my biggest ever; I have 27 people playing with me.

Since I had $270.00 to play with, and since I could only do 8 draws, not 10. (You know California comes on board June 22nd, 2005) Our tickets are good from Friday May 27th, 2005 thru Tuesday June 21st, 2005. I had enough cash to play the entire even bonus balls. With the little I had left over, I purchase some odd bonus balls. I used both Quick Pick and use some of the numbers from previous games.

Last night my group netted $13.00. I was at work today and passed out my newsletter to those members that were at work today. I’ll be buying some more tickets tomorrow. I figured that if my group should be so lucky as to win, we each would get $2,074,074.07 per person. As I remind them every week: “This is before any attorney fee’s, taxes or tithes.”

I’m off Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (Memorial Day weekend), so I can do that tomorrow. I started their update already.

Besides this game, I run a small pool, called Die Hard Multi-Lottery Pool. This was is run a little different. I keep the same members and each pays $10 per month. We play Cash Five, Texas Two-Step, and Lotto Texas.

We are on GAME II right now. This is a hard one to get into, because someone has to drop out before I allow anyone else in. Tonight all we have left is Lotto Texas. If we do not win, then tomorrow I will be buying new tickets for them. GAME III now has 11 members.

Good luck to all of you out there in Lottery Land.

Mega Million Lottery Pool

We still have four more draws left on our 15 tickets.  I used the $7.00 we won and purchase another ticket for the group and it will expire after April 22nd, 2005 with the others.

I told the group today that with $70 Million as the Cash Option, all 14 of us will each get $5,000,000 each (before attorney fee's taxes and tithes).

Everyone month about this time, I have to start asking people if they want in the new group.  Everyone wants to play, but no one really wants to give up $10.00 to play.

One of my longest playing members (he's been with me from the beginning) is in Africa right now.  His Father died and he needed to fly back home.    He forgot to pay me before he left.  I am wondering if I should cover for him and he can pay me back when he returns to the States.  I get paid on Friday (April 15th, 2005), I guess I will see when I get my check if I can afford to cover for him.

He is also in my other Lottery Pool (Die-Hard Multi-Lottery Pool).  That Pool needs $10.00 on April 15th.  So I have to wonder if I have an extra $20.00 or not.

Who is Jack Whittaker

I had trouble signing into this site today.  I had to write to the people who run this site to see what it is I needed to do.  They mailed me my password twice, but still I wasn't able to get in.

I read all the FAQ before writing, they have a whole list of things they DO NOT respond to, one of them was kind of strange.

Here is the quote:

  • Do not send us your message to Jack Whittaker.  We are not Jack Whittaker, and we have no way to contact him.
  • I have no idea who Jack Wittaker is, I've never heard of him.  Why would anyone write to them concerning a man named Jack Wittaker?

Can anyone enlighten me ask to who this man is?

    Die-Hard Lottery Pool

    Friday February 25th, 2005

I am off work now until Tuesday March 1st, 2005.  Two of my seven members did not pay in February, so my Die-Hard Lottery Pool stops on Saturday March 19th, 2005.

Five of my original members did pay, and two new people gave me $10.00, so I now have seven people in my new Die-Hard II game that starts on Sunday March 20th, 2005.

We did pretty good we started on Christmas Eve December 24th, 2004 with only Texas Two-Step tickets.  As I type this we now have Cash Five, Texas Two-Step, Lotto Texas and one Mega Million Ticket.  But by March 19th, 2005 we will only have one Lotto Texas ticket to worry with.

    Die-Hard Lottery Pool

On December 24th, 2004, I selected my most loyal players and started another Lottery Pool.  This one is slightly different.  There are eight of us, and we put in $10.00 a month.  It's always due by the 15th, since we all get paid on the 15th.

This club started out as the Texas Two-Step Club, and we won a lot of money the first few weeks, but then it petered out nothing.  So, I Christmas Eve, I renamed the club: Die-Hard Lottery Club.

The only way to get into the Pool is to for someone to drop out.  And since I've been doing this since Christmas Eve, that is not likely.

Well, I have ventured out and got us more tickets.  As of this Monday, we will have one ticket in Cash Five.  We have two tickets in Texas Two-Step, and five tickets in Lotto Texas.  And as of Friday we have one ticket in the Mega Million Game.

I shied away from buying Mega Million Tickets, because I already have a club for that Lottery.  By mistake I took some of our winnings and was buying more tickets, when purchase the one Mega Million ticket.

To make matters worse, the one ticket I purchase was NOT a quick pick, it was one that one of my members selected.  I forgot we have the same number in my Mega Million Pool.  If we should win on that number, both my pools would win.

That should be interesting since all eight of my players in Die-Hard are also players in the Mega Million Lottery Pool.

And if I could somehow buy Power Ball tickets we would do that, too!

    Mega Million Lottery Pool #12

It's been over one year since I started at Mega Million Pool at work.  This is my 13th month, my twelfth game.  (One of my games lasted two months, we won $150.00).

It' been awhile since I've posted on my blog.  I was wanting to know if anyone else out there runs a Lottery Pool and how many people you  have playing your pool.

It was back in Dec 03 or Jan 04 that I started my first one, and we only had 7 people in it.

Here is a list of my games and the number of people:

    Game Two:  8

    Game Three: 7

Game Four 17 People!  My largest group ever.

    Game Five: 12

    Game Six:  12

    Game Seven: 12

    Game Eight: 15

    Game Nine: 13

    Game Ten: 16

    Game Eleven: 8

    Game Twelve: 15

I send out newsletters at least once a week.  I normally make them fun with Quotes and different articles about the Lottery.  And I end it with a joke or two.

It's been fun, but I'm not playing for fun.  We are playing if for the Big Jack Pot.

Mega Million Pool Game IX starts

My Mega Million Game VIII had 15 members.  Our last drawing was this last Tuesday.  All but two join my new Mega Million Club IX.  That club now has 13 members.  Club VIII ended up with winning only $13.00.  Not good, but with that I purchase 4 numbers for three draws and the remaining $1.00 was an extra ticket.  This game will continue until November 5th, 2004.

Mega Million Game IX started last night, and already we won $2.00.  We got the bonus ball on last night's drawing (48).  I like winning on the first draw.

I will try to get better about keeping you all innormed.  I noticed I posted nothing since I told you about the normation of Club VIII.  But, I do newsletters for all of these, and it keeps me busy.

    Texas 2-Step

I've been busy with Lottery Pools.  First off, I started a Texas 2-Step Pool with only six members from work.  We all chip in $5.00.  That gave the pool $30.00 to work with.  I decided to buy 3 numbers and play them for 10 draws.  This way the game would last a month.

We have had 4 drawings so far, and my little group has won 2 of those drawings.  Our winnings so far are $12.00.

We are not playing for $12.00, we are trying for the jackpot.  I don't know if the six will continue with this game because all six are part of my Mega Million Pool.

Mega Million Pool - Club VII

My Mega Million Lottery Pool Club VIII started yesterday.  I ended up with 15 people; all 15 came from Club VII.  Club VII had 17 members.  I bought multi-draw tickets; our tickets are good for another month. My last club is still going on.  Club VII won $5.00, so I bought them 1 ticket for five draws.

We won in last nights drawing $2.00.  One of our Bonus Balls was 52.  So I'm looking forward to winning every week.

I have been keeping all the same numbers since Club VI.  Club VI opted for Quick Picks.  On one of our tickets all the lines started with the number "6".  That ticket never won in the one month that we played in Game VI.  It never won while we played in Game VII.  I've had a feeling about this ticket since I first purchased it, so we are playing it again in Game VII.  And of course, it's still not won anything.  Our $2.00 winnings came from another ticket.

Wish us luck, here in Texas.

    Mega Million Club VII ending

Last Tuesday was the last drawing for the Mega Million for my Lottery Pool I do at work.  We have 17 members and have been playing for a month.  We ended up winning $5.00 total.  That is $170.00 worth of Lottery Tickets.  I wonder why we do better on few members?

I cashed in the $5.00 winning for another ticket for the group.  I did a quick pick and those numbers are:

    07 20 25 35 52  Bonus Ball: 43

Our ticket is good from Friday September 24th, 2004 thru Friday October 8th, 2004.

Mega Million Lottery Pool Game VII starts this Friday.  I have 11 people in this pool so far.

I will let you know how that group does, as soon as I buy the tickets.

    $3.00 won so far

I took today off from work.  Still need to write up my newsletter for the group at work.  So far my little Mega Million Pool has won $3.00, and yes, I am always happy to report a winning, even if it's only $3.00

Are tickets are still good until September 21st, and the new pool will start on September 24th, 2004.

No Win Last Night on Mega Millions

I can't believe that we didn't win a dime in last night's drawing.  Oh well, there is always Tuesday's drawing.  But, 17 people spliting $6 Million is kind of small.  I guess we should be regretful for any winnings.

    Mega Million Pool

I purchased $170 worth of Mega Millions tonight.  I have this Pool at work and we have 17 people.  This is my Eighth Game.  We all put in $10.00 and I buy 17 numbers that we play for 10 draws.  Each game last one month.

I just finished typing up my newsletter.  I'm printing out 17 copies now.  I will be copying our tickets to attach to the Newsletter tomorrow.  I'm real excite.

One of my members, Grant Kinser, has even paid me for Game Eight, and I won't be starting it until September 24th, 2004.
