        I bought some Pennsylvania Raffle tickets yesterday.  They're not selling nearly as well as Florida's.  The ticket numbers were in the high 70 thousands range.   PA has a max of 500,000 and I'm starting to wonder if they'll sell out.  G5

        Someone just posted in The PA Raffle Countdown thread that PA has sold 94,000 with 21 days to go!

        So raffle tix in PA aren't selling all that well.  As a player holding some tickets in that raffle, I'm thrilled!  It'll be interesting to see what the Christmas week does to the ticket count.  Max to be sold is 500K.  Think they'll make it?  G5

              243,000 out of 750,000 possible.  29 days to go.  A daily average of about 17500 needed to sell out.

              With 27 days on the market thus far, the daily average is 9000.  If we take 22 days at the daily average that will add 198000.  Then, taking the remainder 7 days and doubling the daily sales to 18000 per for the holiday frenzy we add another 126000.  It would seem total sales may only make it to the 550,000 mark.  This would be a nice odds improvement to those who have tickets.  Even if the tickets do sell out, the odds to win a million are still fantastic... in lottery terms Yes Nod

                I'm feeling a jackpot win coming my way!

                  Thanks fangkid.  Who knows where my mind was rambling. Leaving Let's revisit;

                  243,000 out of 750,000 possible.  18 days to go.  A daily average of about 28000 needed to sell out.

                  With 27 days on the market thus far, the daily average is 9000.  If we take 11 days at the daily average that will add 99000.  Then, taking the remainder 7 days and doubling the daily sales to 18000 per for the holiday frenzy we add another 126000.  It would seem total sales may only make it to the 468,000 mark.  EVEN BETTER!

                    I've no idea if what has happened in the past with some of Pennsylvania's Millionaire raffles will apply to Florida, but PA has seen a rate per day of 40,000 near the end the sales cycle for some of their raffles.  IMHO, 18000 tickets sold per day during the holiday week could be low.

                    Don't get me wrong, I have two tickets for this Fla raffle, so I'm hoping they don't sell out too! G5

                      Here's my story:

                      I played every year they had it, every time they had a raffle.  Have never won a dime.  I filed for bankruptcy and divorce this year.  I am also owed 23K in arrears from my oldest son's father and haven't gotten a payment since May 2015.  I'm a senior at our University for social work plus I am taking medical coding classes as my work is transitioning me to this field.  Needless to say I am about at the end of my rope here with 2015.  I heard about the raffle and was absolutely dead set against spending $20 as i'm now a single mother of 2 boys.  It's one of those things--I make too much to get "welfare" but enough to scrape by, especially paying on braces for my youngest.  Anywho, I said to myself, "well if I get an extra $20 somewhere I will buy a ticket" and thought nothing of it.  Do you know December 3 I got a child support payment for $75?? Then I sold one of my university books for $75 and then another for $100.  Still discouraged with life I decided it would be foolish to waste $20 on a ticket.  But then my ex-husband encouraged me to do so.  He said, "take a chance".  I did and although I know my odds are slim there is a tiny spark of hope that i could at win.  I would like to think the Universe is trying to tell me something, but I know that's just wishful thinking.  Regardless, 2016 is going to be a great year; I will be done with both University and coding, hopefully getting a higher-paying job, paying off the braces and another small bill in February.  Woo hoo!

                      Good luck to everybody!! I wish we could all win <3

                            It would be funny if one person won multiple $1,000,000 prizes.

                              You know what's funny, I was just talking to my mom about that possible scenario lol. However, I hope seven different individuals win the 1 million dollar grand prizes.
