What is Antifa?

Read and heard all sorts of stuff about antifa so I decided to ask a reliable conservative source, The Deseret News in Salt Lake City. This is what they said:

"Put simply, antifa is an unstructured movement known for using counterprotests and physical force to stand against fascists and racists."

I get it, they are "against fascists and racists" with no real organization. But if that's true, why were some of the self proclaimed anti fascist and anti racists people trash the Capital building along side of the Trump supporters? I could understand if they were fighting the MAGA people or trying to stop them from trying to destroy the Capital building, but lots of the Republicans are saying even the guy with silly horned hat was with the antifa people.

What? Are you correcting me and that guy is Jake Angeli a well-known QAnon evangelist and ardent Trump supporter? My bad, How about the guy with his feet on Nancy's desk, bet he is antifa, right? Nope, that is Richard Barnett another active Trump supporters. Wonder what if the Israeli new people think Robert Keith Packer wearing a "Camp Auschwitz" hoodie was antifa?

Won't comment on the guy wearing the 6MWE tee shirt, but can easily see why an anti fascist would not like him or Richard Barnett.

The entire UK Basketball Team including coaches took a knee.

And the Big Blue Nation is divided!

Apparently it was during the playing of the National Anthem. I didn't see it and probably the only ones that did were the people at the game because ESPN was showing the final minute of another game when it happened. I guess it all comes down to how people express their First Amendment Rights (as long as it's not "yelling fire in a crowded building").

As usual I stirred the pot a little by asking how many people watching TV actually stand for the playing of the National Anthem or are they in the kitchen getting that snack and their drink of choice before the game starts. All the discussion started after this Wildcat team finally showed their real potential with a decisive win and without knowing exactly why they chose to take a knee. Wonder what would be said had the lost in a decisive manner.

TRUMP TALK is now a thing of the past.

Because we can no longer read it on Twitter. Yeah I know, Twitter, Facebook, and other social medias are not covered by the 1st Amendment because of TOS agreements, but still they let the old guy go on and on for years. So it's no wonder he finally went to far and their fault. Social media wasn't the only enablers because many Republican Reps and Senators were even worse. Why didn't McConnell, Graham, Cruz, or Hawley or some of the 130 House Reps that wasted time objecting to counting Electoral votes attempt to counsel Trump?

Even the die-hard Trump supporters knew a crash course in governing would not be enough, but experienced people around him could have, should have given him sound advice but apparently didn't. It started innocently enough by bragging about the crowd size at his inauguration which he said was the biggest ever when it wasn't even close. I can relate to self confidence but don't brag about something that is easy proved to be wrong.

It wasn't that Trump had inexperience advisers, it was more like if he didn't like what the said, he let them go. It's starting to look like he listened and took the advice of Limbaugh, Hannity, Bannon, Beck, and even Alex Jones more than his Vice President. Why would Trump assume Pence would help him overturn the results when Congress recorded the Electoral votes to only get to say "Et tu Michael?". It was because Pence was a major enabler.

The worst of the enablers were the people packing his rallies and sending him "get out of town" money. I won't say Trump knew the likely outcome when he said he would march with his supporters to Capitol, but he did watch it unfold and too little too late. It starting to look like he was wrong saying he "could shoot someone in the middle of a crowd on 5th Avenue and get away with it".

Doubt he'll resign or be removed from office after being impeached for a second time and I'm pretty sure someone will hide the launch codes from him. He should go to Florida, plays some golf, and relax.

What was their point?

Let's take over 14 hours to do something that usually takes an hour! Let's object to the Arizona Electoral vote count so six out of 100 Senators can vote their objection and so seven out of 100 could vote their objections to the PA Electors.

And the height fo stupidity was when after Biden had enough Electoral votes, Rep. Louis Gohmert of Texas made several unsubstantiated claims about Wisconsin's election and said 71 House members signed on to his objection along with a Senator who now has withdrawn his objections. Law makers like Gohmert and his 70 allies are creating law, deciding important things like our Health Care.

I understand that Gohmert's views represent the people in his Congressional district so we must learn to live with his stupidity and hope he stays in the minority. Why can't the Kool-Aid drinkers understand that Nancy Pelosi's views represent the people in her Congressional district?

Don't get me started on slow law enforcement response and all the open doors in the Capital Building.

You decide!

"But without ever reading your opinion or what you decided, I'll block you from posting on my blog."

And that's exactly why I created a blog so anyone can give their opinions on anything and many have. Heard from whiners, hypocrites, wana-be-bullies, and bald faced liars and everyone of them are still welcomed to remark on my blog.

The real question is after posting something they believe is important enough to post, why not only discourage debate, but flat out sniffle any opposing views by blocking any response? If what they are posting is the truth, why are they that afraid of being "fact checked"?

Told I was being dishonest by asking for proof of voter fraud and again after asking for even the slimiest amount of evidence. There is none, but four people lost their lives because Trump said he was cheated. Let's just hope millions won't lose their lives if Trump does something really stupid in the next couple of weeks.

Another first for President Trump!!

Because he became the first President in 88 years to lose re-election, the House, and the Senate. History will decide it the losses are because he didn't do his job, tweeted too much, and played fast and loose with the truth or all the above.

Let's hope Trump's backers don't burn down the Capital Building.

"Delta Force raids Obama stronghold in Thailand"

or did they raid Biden's Compound in Ukraine?

I'm known for saying some statements made on my blog are ignorant, but I won't say many of the remarks made on other blogs are ignorant. The readers can decide for themselves if the Delta Force conducted a raid in our allies country and  if "they seized 300 million dollars in gold bullion" apparently with "JB" craved into the gold bars or is this just another in a long line of "let's see how many gullible people will share" this story?

The Delta Force "only" found 200 million dollars in gold bullion at the Obama compound, but the green photo of someone in the military wearing night vision is exactly the same as the photo in the Obama story and the same as a photo in the movie "Zero Dark Thirty". Probably just a weird coincident.

Watching "The truth is out there" on the History Channel  Doing a story about "mutant monkey island" in South Carolina. Doubt they will ever find the truth about what almost everything Trump says.

Did he drink his Kool-Aid?

Trump tweeted: "The Vice President has the power to reject fraudulently chosen electors.", but according to the U.S. Constitution, the VP simply presides over the session. Have no clue what Pence will do; let's hope he doesn't embarrass himself and further embarrass the country.

The die-hard Trump Kool-Aid drinking Senators could force a roll call vote, but at best would only find out which Republican Senators were for or against overturning the election. Unless something drastically changes, they won't even get a majority of the Republicans and less than the necessary 51 votes. But let's say in the MAGA fantasy world the Senate does get 51 Senators to vote to reject some or all the official state electoral results, they still need a majority in the House.

At the end of the day, the weirdo Senators and House Reps will waste about 3 hours to learn the Presidential election results are exactly the same as they were after the Electoral College voted.

I read it on the Internet so it must be true!

Yet some people want to argue without proof when "the truth" they posted gets a liar-liar pants on fire rating. But they could get a pass if they just simply quoted their source and not plagiarize someone's opinion. OH, and for the record, I'm talking about the social media I see, not just on LP.

Many, many opinions on what to expect when Congress meets on Wednesday, but what the Constitution says is all that counts. From what I've read in multiple sources is Senator Josh Hawley is going to object some of the state Electoral results. And a group of Republican Reps are going to do the same thing in the House. Because there will be written objection from both the House and Senate, Congressional rules state the objection must be considered.

That's where the fun starts because to throw out any or all electoral votes each chamber must agree on the objections by majority vote. Even if the Republican Senate used their tiny majority, the House is controled by the Democrats making highly unlikely the vote in favor objections.

Wonder if after rejecting $2000 relief checks to the people in Kentucky, Mitch would vote to throw the results of his election?

Fake news or misleading social media entries?

Headlines: The Kentucky Secretary of State removed the names of 33,696 dead voters.

Lots of people are saying the people in Kentucky that voted for McConnell are dead from the neck up, but there is no evidence any one on the "deceased" list voted. Unless there is solid communication between the state Board of Elections and county Health Departments, thousands could remain on the registered voter list. People move and to my knowledge there is no requirement notify the Board of Election.

In the past year efforts were made by social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc to monitor what people posted and because of it some people are saying it violates their 1st Amendment Right. Most forget or don't understand they checked a TOS box and agreed to the site's conditions when they signed up.

IMO, it looks much different when saying Sec of State Michael Adams found and removed the names of 33,696 registered voters that passed away.

Trump pardon of Blackwater Iraq contractors violates international law

The U.N. human rights experts said the pardons violated U.S. obligations under international law. The question from an American point of view is "are the pardons of employees of the private security firm Blackwater owned by Trump's education secretary Betsy DeVos' brother legal". And if they are, the pardons will stand, if not I suppose they will be rounded up and put back into prison.

Though I find these pardons rather strange and questionable, IMO these pardons are part of the legal pardon process under Article Two, Section 2, Clause 1 of the U.S. Constitution,

No $2000 for you says McConnell

A motion was made in the Senate to pass the direct $2000 payment bill by unanimous consent, but Mitch blocked that vote and gave no indication when the full Senate would vote on it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't President Trump ask for the $2000 in direct payments and doesn't Mitch belong to the same political party as President Trump?

$1.3 billion in military financing to Egypt.

And that's about the same amount we gave to Egypt every year since 1987. Read where it adds up to about $51 billion since the 1978 Camp David Accords and the 1979 Egypt-Israel Treaty of Peace. As for necessity and strategic importance, President George H. W. Bush forgave all of Egypt's $7.1 billion military debt just before the first Gulf War.

Many people are saying they are "happy getting $600" and the $1.3 billion going to Egypt is just one example of why some House and Senate members don't think our country can afford direct payments of even $1200. The final House vote on the motion to suspend the rules and pass: H R 9051 CASH Act was 275-134.

My Congressman voted "nay" and at least one of my Senators will probably vote "nay" when they get their turn.

Dear Mr. President

By Pink,

Come take a walk with me
Let's pretend we're just two people and
You're not better than me
I'd like to ask you some questions if we can speak honestly
What do you feel when you see all the homeless on the street?
Who do you pray for at night before you go to sleep?
What do you feel when you look in the mirror?
Are you proud?
How do you sleep while the rest of us cry?
How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye?
How do you walk with your head held high?
Can you even look me in the eye
And tell me why?
Dear Mr. President
Were you a lonely boy? (Are you a lonely boy?)
Are you a lonely boy?
(Are you a lonely boy?)
How can you say
No child is left behind?
We're not dumb, and we're not blind
They're all sitting in your cells
While you pave the road to hell
What kind of father would take his own daughter's rights away?
And what kind of father might hate his own daughter if she were gay?
I can only imagine what the first lady has to say
You've come a long way from whiskey and cocaine
How do you sleep while the rest of us cry?
How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye?
How do you walk with your head held high?
Can you even look me in the eye?
Let me tell you 'bout hard work
Minimum wage with a baby on the way
Let me tell you 'bout hard work
Rebuilding your house after the bombs took them away
Let me tell you 'bout hard work
Building a bed out of a cardboard box
Let me tell you 'bout hard work
Hard work
Hard work
You don't know nothing 'bout hard work
Hard work
Hard work
Oh
How do you sleep at night?
How do you walk with your head held high?
Dear Mr. President
You'd never take a walk with me
Would you?
