Giving a tip
I never have because I'm in the hole overall. I've been playing for 30 years. It'll take a huge win to get me out of the hole. If I won a big amount like 100K or more I'd tip the clerk if it was someone I like and use often. Maybe a few thousand on that win. I bought a couple Wild Card quick picks for the last draw before that game ends from a really nice cashier who's been around awhile. If I should win that $375K tomorrow I'd give her probably $5K. If I should win it on a ticket I bought f

Should you tip the clerk who sold you a winning ticket?
Yes I will tip the store clerk, depending on how much I won, also if the store clerk is nice,

Would you tip the Store Clerk if you won big ?
We have something to compare to in the service sector where the size of the tip might depend on if the service is poor, average, or superior. Purchasing lottery tickets could be measured the same when the wagers are somewhat complicated. I don't see any reason to tip the clerk that happens to be there when cashing a winning ticket for the same reason I don't tip a bank teller for cashing my check. I would make an effort to tip a clerk who was helpful and friendly when I purchased the ticket;

Would you tip the Store Clerk if you won big ?

If it was anywhere else where I didn't know the clerk I would say no simply because I always go self pick so the clerk has nothing to do with me winning or not. If I was a quick pick player I would likely tip them out of gratitude even though they obviously have no influence over which numbers the computer randomly selects. Sounds l

Would you give a tip??
Lol! See that's where you go wrong. The clerk sold the Sherriff a ticket. The ticket matched all the numbers drawn and he won. The clerk didn't sell a winning ticket or did anything to make it a winner which is what you seem to think warrants a reward. If the clerk told him what numbers to play......then we could discuss reward. Why not do a poll on LP with a variety of options where people may or may not tip the clerk? Make sure include options: Never tip and Alw
