Would you give a tip??
Right, and all stores have more than one clerk. It s just stupid to think any of the clerks should get a tip. I think the curse follows people who think they should tip...........

Would you give a tip??
I like to tip at the casino for valet, drinks and lucky cashiers that bring me luck with slot machines. I guess if I had won like a million or two I would tip the clerk that sold me the winner some money but I have to win first. It has not happen in 16 years yet so I guess I better get moving on that jackpot win.-weshar75

Would you give a tip??
LOL service for above and beyond...Really they're just doing a job not pulling babies out of a burning building....but if you don't want to tip them then don't...I was just asking cause I read the story....heck that retired sherriff gave the clerk who sold him the winning powerball ticket a tip too...

I bought my Powerball tickets in Iowa, why didn't I win?
You were supposed to tip the clerk an ear of corn. EVERYONE KNOWS THAT. He knew you were from out of state and didn't qualify for the secret program.

Does anyone tip?
I have never won enough playing the lottery to even consider giving a tip. But that could change anytime. I would probably give the clerk a tip if it's the same one I regularly buy my tickets from. Of course, maybe that's the problem?!?! Maybe I need to switch up clerks? Hmmmmmm . . .

Clerk called me a bum for buying lottery tickets
Missed oppurtunity for a snarky remark. I would've given the manager the tip and said just to show your clerk I'm not the bum he thinks I am .

Retailers that say "Remember Me"
The odds of you ever having to really give anyone a tip if you win the jackpot are the same as those of you actually winning a jackpot so why even give it a thought? After all, if you ever do win, you'll have more than just the clerk with their hands out.

Tipping
Be careful your clerk may lost her job because you give her a tip. It may be against the company policy to accept a tip from customers.

Post Your Winning Tickets Here
Another tip Dr65 is like tonight I saw 3 of the $10 cards like the ones I've been winning on in the trash can at the top (in a grocery store) and looked at the numbers at the bottom of the cards they were 003, 004 005...all losing tickets so I figured if the next one on the roll was 006 it could be a winner so asked the clerk what number was next on the roll and it was 006 so I bought it and sure enough it was a winner (the one I just posted above)!

I think I lost a friend of 15 years.
Sounds like you have a similar mind set of the clerk who redeemed a $150 winning lottery ticket for me. Even though I had spent a lot more than $150 in the last three months at that store, she thought I could afford to give her a tip which I did when I told her you can't win if you don't play .
