Would you tip the Store Clerk if you won big ?
I always tip when I hit $500 on a scratch off. I tip the clerk $20 for cashing me out. (Usually it's the same Publix store by my house. I go there because the clerks let me keep my winning tickets. I have a collection of about 15 winners where I won $500.) Anyway, I tip when I hit $500....the tip goes to the clerk who cashes me out. If I ever hit a bigger prize, I'll tip the clerk who sold it to me--and I'll tip more. Here in Florida, anything over $599 is claimed through a lottery retail office

Should you tip the clerk who sold you a winning ticket?
I suppose it depends on the clerk. Once I give a clerk a tip. I knew it was the wrong choice IMMEDIATELY. Was the wrong clerk too. This clerk who said she got a tip, could have also been lying. A good sales clerk usually has a nice reportoire of quick lies, to try to suade you. Generally I dont tip. Unless I get some extra service, such as, they let me in the store when its closed to other people, or they let my call in my bets over the phone. In those situations I am more prone to

Would you tip the Store Clerk if you won big ?
There no such thing as free money, it might be cheap but it's not free. Sounds like you're are getting what you deserved if you accepted a $100 tip from a store clerk. Give the $100 tip back to the clerk, say be seeing you and find another store to buy your lottery tickets.

Would you tip the Store Clerk if you won big ?
I would tip the clerk if I won with a quick pic...even though the machine chose the numbers...but the size of the tip would depend on how much I won.....If I am choosing my numbers and I win big, I'm sure I still would if it was a clerk that I liked.......

Would you give a tip??
On our website for NC lottery is a story of a guy who had the clerk pick out a scratch off for him and he won $100,000! Now I was wondering if he came back and gave the clerk a tip....Would you if you won.....For a $100,000 I'd give about $100 tip but if I hit powerball or megamillions jackpot I might give about $5000.....

Do you tip your cashier when you win?
Not just NO, but Hell NAW would I tip a clerk...even if the clerk said they think a pick your number will be the Mega Ball/Powerball and I take their advice and mark that and end up winning the jackpot. Why tip them? Hell I like states like OK where you can purchase your Powerball ticket from a machine...when you do that, no need to even feel guilty about not tipping anybody as I know the machine can't talk!

Giving Tips.
I voted yes. I always tip the clerk who put in my numbers/slips when I win, not just any clerk behind the counter. Mainly because I usually have so many numbers its like a job for them to get it right without making any mistakes ... that alone deserves a tip!

Should you tip the clerk who sold you a winning ticket?
If l am buying tickets at a store- the last thing l want to hear from the Clerk is Tip Talk . Let's ponder on this for a sec, if one ate in a fine restaurant and depending on how good the service was, some people would start tipping at 15%. If one won $1,000,000 and the 15% tip factor kicked in, there is no way l would tip the clerk $150,000. As someone previously mentioned, the Store gets their cut for selling the winning ticket. If l am to give a tip, it will come from the generosity of my

Would you tip the Store Clerk if you won big ?
Depends on the clerk. If he's grumpy, rude and is more concerned with eating his Doritos chips behind the counter, than waiting on his customers, no tip. Any clerk squawking away on the cell phone, no tip. Any clerk picking their nose, no tip.
