And in GA news, I am playing my favorite scratch-off of late, Holiday Gifts. I will say it again in case I haven't already: the overall odds are 1:3.99, with 3 of 5 $250,000 top prizes still out there. Yesterday I won, $20, and today, $40 on that ticket. Usually it is either $15 or $20 when you win, but it has been as low as $10. I haven't said this in awhile so I just wanted to reiterate here: Full disclosure: I'm a retailer. I think it's unrealistic to expect the CA Lottery to keep a database for the tickets. We're talking about hundreds of millions of tickets here. To have it constantly being updates in near real-time would take a massive undertaking. Got some great news and then some equally bad news. Yesterday I spent $40 and on dollars $25-$40 (when I bought three $5 Scratchers) All different games, I got a Win-All on the last one I scratched. It was a pretty exciting hundred dollar win!! Then at a different retailer, I bought 2 10X's, both lost. I picked up a 50X and got a $30 win! Bought 5 more 10X and got $7 back altogether on those.
