The only possible way to bankrupt a lottery would be to share the "cracked code" with everyone so that many more people would win and make the prize level will sink.
If the prizes became too low many would lose interest in playing.

Don't know if that's enough to make it go bankrupt though.

Sounds as though it might be sort of fun to try, though...... buying a few hundred blocks of )the same numbers each draw, 'accidently' dropping tickets where they'll be found, handing them out, mailing them out anonymously.  Putting them into jars, hiding them in the woods, publishing the directions for finding them in the personals of the newspapers.  Making people look for them, use their imaginations and muscle to find them.

I think the entire process of trying to bankrupt them might be fairly healthy.

The best wheel to use for biglooooser's system is probably the 18 numbers/48 lines wheel mentioned by BobP. It is expensive to use, but if we can can match 3, 4 or 5 numbers in each draw it might be worth it.

I'll bet you're on to something there.  BL will probably appreciate the suggestion, MillionsWanted.

I'd guess the system he's talking about can do the 3, 4, or 5 numbers each draw. With a good wheel.

I think it would  be better to use WG1.4 from lottoarchitect to wheel those numbers.

I'm thinking they might, LottoMike.  But probably a person would have to use a different set, worked up separately for PB.  Just a guess.

There's actually some overlap with what's going to hit on PB, thinks I.  It's missing a bit, got too much of other things, but it's probably a pretty good soup, all in all.  Needs some honing down, is what it needs, and a person might want to put in a bit of salt and garlic.

              But it's surprising.  That's a fact.

Congratulation to Biglooooser for having 4 of the core numbers and the megaball in his group of 18 numbers on April fool day.  These are the odds of having a win even with all six numbers in a group of 18:

                 MATCH      ODDS OF A WIN
                 5 / 5 +B     1 : 154,224
                 5 / 5            1 : 9,072
                 4 / 5 +B      1 : 2,373
                 4 / 5             1 : 140
                 3 / 5 +B     1 : 198
                 3 / 5           1 : 12
                 2 / 5 +B      1 : 54
                 1 / 5 +B      1 : 43
                 0 / 5 +B      1 : 120

                 overall ODDS    1 : 6.7

                    RJOH:

Wow.  Only 1:7 odds against?  Amazing.  I'd allowed myself to think the guy had accomplished something impressive.  1:7 odds?  I'd guess you beat those kinds of odds just about every draw, hmmm?

You were obviously right to be so disparaging with him, seems to me.  Insulting, I think he asked and you refused to deny.

You're a piece of work, amigo.

Jack, before you can have 1:7 overall odds of a win, you have to first have all the winning numbers in a group of eighteen numbers, that's not meant as an insult, that's a fact.  The smaller the group that contain all the winning numbers, the better your overall odds of having a winner.  If the group could be reduced to 10, the overall odds would be 1:1.8.  I congratulated Biglooooser for reducing his group to eighteen, I didn't insult him.

Looks like biglooooser may turn out to be a one shot wonder as far as the lottery is concerned, but he did add some excitement to this thread for a while.  Good luck to him what ever he's doing.

Perhaps he will be back again within a few days.
